Fijne plek om te overnachten. Rustig gelegen, ruime plekken en je loopt zo langs het water. Openbare toiletten zijn goed en een 5 tot 10 minuutjes lopen.

We stop here every time when we visit Scotland - great free paved parking lot that is very quiet. Now one side of it actually painted “Motorhomes only”. Thank you Largs for being so hospitable!

Exactly as it says. Perfect for a quiet and safe self contained overnight stay in my 7.8m van. Lovely walk along to the town with beaches and dog walkers, where there is an excellent Thai restaurant, highly recommend if you don’t fancy cooking. (Didn’t accept dogs, so grabbed a take away and got taxi back with the dog) thank you to the community. Much appreciated.

Great free campervan dedicated spot. toilets 5 ish minute walk past the pencil monument. A couple of entitled campers parked on the grass and made a full campsite... With their dogs running loose and barking at everyone all day.

Large car park for many vans, though formal motorhome parking limited. We arrived late and it was busy with 20+ vans. Quiet stay for following day ferry to Bute.

Great place to stay with nice easy walk to Largs Spoilt by some etitled People leaving there vans for long period's like it's a camp site.coming and going in cars. Abuse it and we'll lose it.SAD.

Excellent park up for the night. No facilities so make sure you are self contained! Coffee and eat in or take away food available in the yatch club area.

Very good night here. 19 MH and campers were in so I can only say get here early. toilets were closed. The restaurant was close by in the marina. town centre about 20mins walk along the shore where all the shops and pubs are.

Great service and free! Please do not spoil it and have it stopped due to anti/social behaviour! Do not litter or cause a disturbance and leave it better than you found it!

Great views, Largs is a lovely walk along the water front, parking busy in March 25 with most spaces being used. Scott cafe did a great breakfast only a minutes walk away.

This area now has marked MH spaces. Please use only these, we are very lucky to have this free parking. Let's not loose it due to misuse. The walk along the path to Largs is a lovley one. You can also take the ferry to milport/Cumbrae for the day.

A great spot near to the marina and within walking distance of Largs. Resturant at the marina with toilets. Also shower block. Quiet with some local traffic noise.

Lovely spot near the water with a restraint nearby open all day. Lovely walk along the waterfront into Largs. Is very peaceful and will definitely use again.

We visit this free park up regularly. known as Largs Yacht Haven. im here now 19/9/24 and its quiet at night, feel safe, local walks to Largs, Scotts restaurant/cafe for breakfast etc 300M. right next to shore, great views. bins only, no electric hook up or waste disposal, we dumped chemical waste at local farm campsite £5, worth it to continue our trip. we love this site and will return again.

This is a large car park indicated by a 'Motorhomes' sign. There are bins but no other facilities, with public toilets nearby. A path into Largs goes from here - it's flat and beautiful, mostly away from the road. We walked in for great fish and chips. Lots of dog walkers and cyclists go past. It's a very popular spot and was a bit noisy during the night, but safe and free.

Stayed here for two nights due to inclement weather & it was great. Lots of room, quiet location. Close to Largs Pencil & seafront, ideal for walk into Largs. Bins available.

Lovely safe place to stop. Nice walk into Largs. Toilets were closed at 5.30pm but were open by 7.30am. Unfortunately I got woken during night with car horns but otherwise it's a good park up

Flat carpark with separate van/motorhome parking, free, rubbish bin, felt safe. Great views, lovely walk along harbour into town. Toilets nearby but closed when went at 6.30pm.

Good flat car park which actually welcomes motorhomes. No facilities other than waste bins but great for an overnight stay. Lovely walk into Largs along the seafront, just over a mile.

Excellent overnight stay, can’t add much that hasn’t been said. Must have been over 20 motorhomes in last night but very peaceful. Nearest toilets were already closed at 7pm, Morrisons open late though so went there.

Nice views, sheltered from wind and easy to access ferry to Arran. Lots of vans so felt pretty safe.

Second time we've stayed here, was quiet compared to the first time. Only a couple of other vans and cars using early evening for dropping kids at football. A lovely easy walk into Largs (try fish and chips at fish works, best ever) and also a drink or a nicer meal at Scotts (they have a dog friendly area and the staff are lovely).

Flacher Parkplatz neben dem Yacht Hafen. Wir haben mir 8 anderen vans gestanden. Es war aber mehr als genug Platz. Nachts super ruhig. Schöner Spaziergang nach largs am Wasser entlang. Haltet dem Platz sauber. Danke an die Gemeinde

Very good and very quiet dedicated motorhome parking. No services Just Scott’s restaurant in the marina, recommended.

Stopped here 27/05/2024 excellent walk into the town of Largs by going right along the coast pathway and the Scott’s restaurant in the marina is very well recommended as been in there a few times now, only disappointed that as this is a very popular spot it can get quite busy at times as there were many vans and people coming and going.

Excellent park 4 night , no services but spent 2 nights here. Quiet peaceful place out of season with excellent marina restaurant (Scott’s). Longish walk into Largs but beautiful scenery, dog walks and historic monument on the way

Lovely free spot for a night, about 10 campers there when we stayed. Carpark filled with cars in the morning but it was a good park up.

Cracking spot on the coast, stayed here for 1 night very nice and peaceful, and free! Great that the town have put this place in specifically for campers/motor homes, no height restrictions. The only thing is there's a lot of dog walkers turn up fairly early in the morning, but I'm an early riser so it didn't bother me.

Perfekter Spot für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise! Sehr ruhig und ordentlich! Keine Services, aber sehr schöne Wege zum Spazierengehen.

An sich sehr schöner Stellplatz. Einige Camper hier. Leider auch Dauercamper… die einem zu verstehen geben dass man stört. Gammelige alte Wohnmobile passen nicht hier hin und machen den Platz unsympathisch. Auch fahren deren Bewohner ständig bis spät abends mit dem Pkw hin&her. Sehr laut und blenden einen. Wir Gäste stören scheinbar… schade! Sonst tolle Anlage und Umgebung. Empfehle The Fish Works

Handy stop over, marina near by, lovely walks. Do not attempt to stay here 28/08/23 for a few weeks as the car park is full of traveler’s from a fairground due to take place at the start of September. Huge lorries, vans, caravans, cars using a generator

Great Motorhome stop off, sign says motorhomes can stay overnight, but also full of cars. Car parking is opposite which is NOT for Motorhome nor allows overnight stays in Motorhomes, DO NOT park here week before Viking festival taken over with fair trucks, caravan etc noisy, coming and going all nights generators running non stop ?

Great place for a night, loads of spaces and a nice walk along the waterfront. Plenty of benches for a picnic too. Was quiet overnight and a fair few other motorhomes staying. It was noisy with local traffic from about 6am though, so wasn’t a place for a leisurely lie in.

Très joli site, on a passé une bonne soirée en bord de mer et une bonne nuit. Tables de picnic, barbecue à dispo. Il ne manquerai plus que des services pour que ce soit parfait. Merci en tout cas à la ville, des endroits comme ça c’est précieux.

Great spot lovely views by the sea

Great spot, with plenty to do in and around Largs. it takes about 20mins ( 1 mile) to walk to the ferry and main high street. I went as a foot passenger over to Great Cumbrae £3.75 each return, the dog and my husband's bike free. You can catch a bus to Millport from the ferry drop off or walk. took me just over an hour over the top. You could hire bikes in Millport to do a 10mile circuit!

Lloc ideal per dormir, per visitar la ciutat o per agafar el ferry a Cumbrae. Ens hem sentit súper segurs i tranquils. Te papereres i taules de pícnic. Gràcies al municipi.

Lovely spot however a caravan and motor home, obviously together, at the bottom end spoiled it with their dog barking and loud music from when we arrived at 2pm. Don't let this put you off but just be aware . Toilets are open at 7.30am. They are near the pencil monument (on the ride hand side as approaching from the motor home park) and look like a little house.

Had a quiet night in a beautiful setting. No satellite signal near trees so moved across car park and it was fine. Good enough phone signal but slower internet connection at times. Walked around large marina with lots of posh boats and to the Pencil monument commemorating the Battle of Largs. Lovely Viking chip shop in Largs. slipways for paddle boarding etc but too windy. Would stay here again!

Zum Besuch der Stadt supi. Haben hier nicht übernachtet.

Ein großer Dank an die Gemeinde Largs, dass sie Wohnmobilen einen so schönen kostenfreien Übernachtungsplatz bietet. Ausreichend groß, in schöner Umgebung, in der Nacht ruhig. Diese Nacht waren es 3 Mobile.

Parked for 1 night. There were plenty of motorhomes. Quiet evening spoilt by inconsiderate motorhome using portable generator. Parking area busy early evening as used by parents of children going to soccer lessons nearby. Lovely view of sea and abundance of walking paths. Shops and restaurants within one mile.

Great parking for campervans off all sizes. Tarmacked and level. Quite spot. Great walks. Dog friendly. Scotts restaurant available for dinner and breakfast. Loved it here will be back.

This is a lovely park up. Plenty of bins, 4G on Three, lovely views out across the marina, very quiet at night save for the occasional train going by. It’s popular with the locals, so do try to park considerately during the summer and at weekends, as it can get quite crowded on a nice day. A hire camper was letting their kids play football in the car park when I was here, which could’ve been more appropriately moved to the grass right next to them! It’s rare to see a town so motor home friendly - let’s try to keep it that way! Spend some money in the shops, pick up litter etc.

Great overnight stop - flat, quiet, plenty spaces, walking trail into town, beautiful views across the bay, great cell signal. Wish more towns had parkings for MHs like this one.

Good park up spot for the night. There were a lot of other campers parked up when we went in June. Felt very safe. Rubbish bins are available for use. No toilets nearby but there are some within a short drive into town.

Great car park for camper vans and motor homes. We stayed overnight and had a peaceful sleep. Great walks along coast to the town. Beach for dogs. Free atm. We’d stay again. It’s a really lovely bit of coast and the locals all seem very friendly and welcoming.

Free campervan car park!!! Why don’t we have these in London! Day time toilets are 5 min walk, closed at night. Half an hour walk to town. Dog friendly

There is a cafe & a restaurant in the Marina. Marina cafe stocks few necessary items, milk, tinned veg, tinfoil from what I can remember
