Beautiful spot overlooking the river. This is the pub car park and we enjoyed a lovely meal in The Swan which is a a Vintage Inn. Put our details in at the pub and validated parking so did not buy a ticket. It was a very busy car park in the day so we parked up at the village hall. Signs there said no overnight. What a shame as they are missing a trick with an honestly box.
Busy carpark during the day. If EE mobile signal is important to you, go elsewhere as there wasn't any signal at all here.
Arrived around 8pm on Tuesday evening, just about space for our 7.38m MH to park, as only around 25-30 spaces total. We had a fairly decent sleep from around 11pm until 5.15am when the glass bottle collectors woke us all up! Followed by the rubbish collectors at 7am! So be warned if staying into Wednesday morning. But for a free park up, it's a beautiful village location, right by the water.
Stayed here for 2 nights no problem. If you have a drink in the Swan pub you can enter your reg get, free parking. We put an hour on the van, cost £1, before parking at the village hall. Go via the A1062. We canoe easy launch point once the tour boat has left. toilets 24hrs, bin, water tap used for the tour boat. View of the water. Used the local shops and Chinese restaurant also ate in the Swan
Gravel car park and gravel entrance to the sailing club can get a bit noisy, but traffic eases once the pubs are closed and then relatively quiet until 8am. If you want to stick around move on to the village hall, before the 9am charge at this car park kicks in, (go via the main road as the lower access has a width restriction) As the village hall has free daytime parking.
Nice level carpark, perfect for gigs on the Souther Comfort paddle boat. Charges apply from 9am, so if you leave early, it can be a cheap stop over. Public toilets there, very poor phone signal, so paying by app was tricky.
A useful overnight spot. Parking managed by the Swan Inn and the signs are not the easiest to understand, but free from 6pm to 9am. Toilets open all hours, nice and clean.
What a real gem! Close to shops, post office, deli, pubs, and restaurants. Toilets open 24 hours parking £10 for 24 hours and only van/ Motorhome on a Friday night. Friendly locals quiet spot so will be returning.
