Great location, perfect for watching the sunrise. No facilities. Plenty of space but would be exposed in bad weather. Single track road for about 8 miles but plenty of passing places.

Superbe endroit, plein plein de places donc aucun stress à avoir car nous avions peur de ne plus en avoir, un peu venteux évidemment mais vaut le détour. À faire absolument

Superbe vue, mais attention pas du tout protégé du vent. Si vous voulez une expérience immersive avec le vent c’est top sinon allez ailleurs ;) je n’ai pas pu dormir tellement qu’on s’est fait secouer.

Spot tres peuplé en arrivant tôt car il s’agit du parking pour Neist Point. Une fois les horaires touristiques passés nous n’étions plus que 4 CC/van étalé sur la grande longueur du parking. Vue très belle mais endroit pas du tout protégé du vent : nous n’avons pas pu monter la tente de toit.

Super Stellplatz mit grandioser Aussicht. Auch bei starkem Wind kein Problem. ca 30 Parkplätze, unterschiedlich eben. Ende August kein Problem einen Platz zu finden.

there's a lot of space along the road. during sunset it's quite crowded but the views are spectacular. the parking spaces are along a slope/embarkment and up there it gets really stormy without any protection from the wind, so I could not sleep peacefully and would not recommend spending the night there.

Good day parking but really windy for the night.

Beaucoup de places ici et encore plus quand les voitures sont parties, souvent après le couché du soleil qui est incroyable ici donc à ne pas louper. La vue est magique sur la côte sauvage, la ballade vers le phare très sympa, ça vaut le coup de venir jusqu'ici pour y dormir.

Sehr großer Andrang weil der Parkplatz ein super Ausgangspunkt ist um zum Leuchtturm zu laufen. Dadurch ist es morgens sehr laut.

Jolie randonnée jusqu’au phare. J’imagine une vue de dingue pour le coucher de soleil. Plein de place donc pas pris au dépourvu si vous arrivez tard. En revanche…. Rien de « nature » comme spot. On était au moins 30 van et camping-car hier soir. Moi j’aime pas trop cette ambiance ! Premier du voyage en Ecosse et sûrement dernier !

Schöner Ort zum Wandern und Aussicht genießen. Sehr voll aber nachts war es ruhig.

A must go when you are in Skye! Road leading up to it is narrow, but with plenty of passing lanes View is amazing, but got quite busy and the end of the day.

Great overnight parking with stunning views and a lovely walk to the lighthouse. Perfect spot to watch a beautiful sunset, though it can get very windy, so be prepared.

Brutales vistas. Muy chulo pasar la noche lo único malo es que tiene pinta que siempre hace viento. Aunque si duermes con tapones seguramente no lo notarás. Gratis y sin servicios.

Wirklich einer der schönsten Stellplätze, auf denen wir in Schottland übernachtet haben. Nachts sehr stürmisch. Wir wurden ordentlich durchgeschüttelt, aber die geniale Aussicht hat uns morgens entschädigt. Auf dem Parkplatz befindet sich ein Schild, auf dem steht, dass sich am Gemeindehaus in Glendale Mülltonnen befinden. Vielen Dank an die Gemeinde für diese Möglichkeit.

vue imprenable magnifique ( attention ca peut etre venteux... donc bruyant la nuit)

sans aucune hésitation ! si vous passez dans ce secteur, le détour vaut vraiment le coup d'oeil ! beaucoup de places disponibles. Les autochtones sont fort sympathiques (moutons) et la vue est vraiment magnifique !

L'idéal est d'arriver vers 19-20h pour éviter les touristes à la c....et pouvoir dormir sur place avec une vue imprenable et une ambiance aérienne

De los sitios más impresionantes donde he dormido nunca. Cuenta con mucho espacio, diría que para más de 50 caravanas fácilmente. Abrigarse bien que por las noches hace bastante frío.

Großer Parkplatz mit viel Platz und einer tollen Aussicht auf die Steilküste und die See. Schöner Spaziergang zum Leuchtturm. Nachts sehr ruhig, aber windig.

Super schöner Platz, fantastischer Ausblick. Selbst jetzt in der Hochsaison waren am Abend noch viele Plätze frei, also auch späte Anreise kein Problem. Man muss aber Wind mögen, ohne geht hier wohl nicht.

Parked here for the night, hoped to get views in the evening/morning, but unfortunatelly had none. Otherwise good place for night, but windy. Plenty of space for long vans, but the road is a bit tiring.

Spot favoloso. Abbiamo passato una notte fantastica assieme a molti altri van/camper. Vista favolosa. alcuni posteggi sono un po' inclinati altri invece belli piatti.

Wir haben letzte Nacht eine ruhige Nacht mit 8 weiteren Campern hier verbracht. Parkplatz ist deutlich vergrößert worden, es passen viele Fahrzeuge noch hin. Allerdings war es sehr stürmisch, abends windstill, aber in der Nacht kam der Wind. Das Fahrzeug wurde ganz schön durchgerüttelt. Wasser stand dann auch auf der Straße. Dennoch ein netter Spot zum schlafen. Keine Mülleimer & Co.

Erg mooi uitzicht. Jammer van 2 franse campers, die zo dicht mogelijk op een asisiale wijze bij de ingang parkeren. Blokkeren de toegang voor mensen, waarom? Omadat je dan het beste uitzicht hebt? Zulke mensen zorgen ervoor dat steeds meer locaties voor overnachten gesloten worden.

Nous y avons dormi dimanche soir, après avoir hésité car la route au niveau des zones de stationnement a été élargie et les travaux semblent ne pas être terminés (zones d'élargissement en cailloux non goudronnés, mais très propres). Mais aucun dérangement la nuit ni le matin. Il y a de la place pour au moins 30 véhicules de toute longueur. Venté mais superbe vue, lande et moutons proches.

Good spot to stop. Plenty of space. Well visited location so expect visitors dawn til dusk. Very quiet at night , except for the wind. Slept in til 08.30, without any disturbance. Incredible views. Recommended place especially considering there's not that many other options up this corner of the island.

Krásné, velmi prostorné místo s úžasnými výhledy. Jediný drobný problém je úzká, velmi frekventovaná příjezdová cesta se spoustou Passing Places. Noc klidná, velmi tichá.

Klar… die Straße ist schmal, aber doch gut fahrbar. Wenn jeder Rücksicht nimmt, gar kein Problem. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Ich habe kein Schild gefunden, das man hier nicht auch übernachten könnte. Allerdings könnte es sehr windig werden.

Please note there is currently work going on to widen/firm up some sections of the parking, so expect the diggers to start up at 08:00 and maybe try to park on the opposite side to where they are working unless you have to. Nice spot, especially if the weather is good - we walked down to the lighthouse with the dogs at sunset (21:55!) and watched the sun disappear with clear a clear sky, no wind and surrounded by sheep and it was magical. As for the parking it’s mostly tarmac and it’s fairly easy to level with chocks, but you won’t be on your own and people will be walking past until after sunset. I’d imagine the wind could be an issue so factor that in.

Views were amazing and it's a great spot to stay if you're sticking around for sunset. It is very busy and very exposed. We parked in the top corner by the little building to try get some shelter but the place smelled quite badly of urine. I would probably stay a little further inland next time

Magnificent view and lovely walk to the lighthouse. No phone signal. Peaceful but windy. Quite a few other camper vans around. Very nice atmosphere.

Parking avec vue magnifique sur une des pointes de l’isle de Skye. Aucune commodité , mais la qualité du point de vue suffit. Parking en cours d’agrandissement , venir en fin de journée pour trouver de la place quand les voitures repartes !

Great view, but busy with everyone coming and going to the lighthouse and could be windy - road towards meist point is sometimes closed during the day.

Interesting Road to this place… goes from lovely smooth new tarmac to massive potholes under the puddles! Can imagine when the wind was up like today it is hard to sleep. Very exposed. Lots of spaces & some flatter ones now as they are building out the car park & widening the roads. Good signal & can’t see any problem with staying overnight

amazing place to spend the night, unless there is a storm coming in. couldn't sleep until 3am with gusts of wind at 40-50mph. Incredible views when the clouds clear off, worth the trek on the one track road. lots of potholes but manageable in a van conversion

No dormir mientras están de obras. Un señor de la obra nos dice que eso no es un camping y que debemos buscar uno. Sitio precioso si no fuese por eso.

mega schöner Platz viele Park möglichkeiten,waren 10Buse 3Camper... am besten spät anfahren wenn man Übernachten will,da das Parken einfacher ist...die Leute kommen bis spät zum Aussichtspunkt.

Wir waren am 18.04.2025 da und die Straße für die letzten 3 min Weg dorthin ist gesperrt durch temporäre Verkehrshütchen. Sind weiter zum Neist Point gefahren und haben dort neuen Tipp eingerichtet. Auf dem Weg dorthin waren Bauarbeiten mit denselben Hütchen. Möglicherweise waren diese auch der Grund für die Sperrung.

Amazing location and views. Busy with people coming to watch the sunset, which was incredible, after which it was much quieter. We were one of 8 vans overnight; lots of space. The weather was amazing, but I can imagine it being quiet exposed in windy conditions

Incroyable spot pour passer la nuit sur Skye, au moins une dizaine de places disponibles pour des campervans et autres. On y a vu le plus beau coucher de soleil de notre vie, il faut juste prévoir des vêtements chauds à cause du vent ;) il faut juste faire attention en arrivant, les routes sont relativement accidentées sur l’île et les moutons sont chez eux donc circuler lentement est un must

Great spot to stay for the night. Very windy. Enough place for at least 10 motorhomes. We arrived quite late before sunset, but still no issue to find a spot.

Great parking great place although very windy the night we stayed the road there is long with passing places and generally good although two area one on the turn onto the final road and further on the same road some deep potholes. Other drivers bunching up make it more difficult to drive busy at 5pm we left at 8am and passed 4 cars arriving! 4 stars only due to the road

It was so hard to find a place to stay overnight at skye as they seem to hate motorhomes on the island, so this was the perfect place. Plenty of spaces available, everyone was calm and respectful and the view was breathtaking to wake up to.

Traumhafter Blick auf diesem Stellplatz. Dadurch natürlich auch recht windig. Durch die Parkflächen auch ziemlich viel Platz für viele Camper. Ende September waren wir dennoch über Nacht nur zu fünft. Keine Versorgung oder Ähnliches vor Ort. Anreise mit vielen Ausweichstellen.

Great park up with stunning views. Room for many cars and vans. Busy location due to views. Single track road approx last 3km which is a little sketchy in places. Some big pot holes in places. Plenty of passing points for vehicles. No phone signal at all for me (Vodafone UK) during my 1 nights stay and could only get 1 bar signal on the cliff looking down on to the light house. Views stunning.

Endroit magnifique, il y avait beaucoup de place quand nous sommes arrivés le matin vers 10h. La balade est super, un des plus beaux endroit de Skye. Attention à la route, c'est une route à voie unique avec des passing places, elle est étroite et il y a beaucoup de nid de poules. En roulant lentement ça se fait, nous avions un grand van.

Non ho dormito ma sicuramente è molto più tranquillo che di giorno. Single track abbastanza lunga per arrivare, meglio mattina presto o sera tardi.

sehr windig, teils ebene und schräge Plätze. In der Hochsaison am besten früh morgens oder abends kommen, da sonst alles voll ist und es Stau geben kann. Wir mussten 30min in einer Parklücke warten, da die Dackel nicht aneinander vorbeifuhren. Müll muss man wieder mitnehmen!

Ci siamo fermati per una notte in questo parcheggio. È il parcheggio gratuito dove parte il sentiero per il faro. La vista è spettacolare sulle scogliere e sull’oceano. C’erano diversi van e camper parcheggiati per la notte ma non hanno dato nessun problema. L’unica pecca è il forte vento.

vista spettacolare, ci sono una 10 di parcheggi che la sera si liberano dalle macchine. la strada per arrivare non é il massimo essendo ad una sola corsia ed essendoci abbastanza traffico. unica pecca, essendo molto esposto il vento sembra portarti via.

Abbiamo dormito qui la mattina prima di visitare Nest Point. vista spettacolare, notte tranquilla. peccato per il forte vento, ma comunque consigliato

Panorama stupendo, alla sera le auto vanno via e puoi cercare un posto con la vista spettacolare. Strada impegnativa per arrivare, nelle ore di punta ci si incastra con la fila di veicoli in senso opposto…

bellissima vista, peccato il traffico per salire, ma fattibile anche con camper più grossi l'importante è che si rispettino i posti per il passaggio posti sulla strada. non abbiamo dormito ma immagino non avremmo potuto avere nessun problema

spent one night here as the northern lights came out. one other little camper. no issues. will return one day as long as the miserable people on the Isle don't make things worse for us campers

Stayed here for free to visit the lighthouse. It’s a decent walk down lots of steps but good exercise. This car park won’t be free for MHs overnight for much longer the way Skye is prohibiting our travel. Accept us, allow us to pay, let us pay extra for overnight OR stop us at the bridge with a sign stating “Motorhomes not wanted”

Sin duda, uno de los lugares que recomendaria para dormir en la Isla. Tranquilidad y vistas excepcionales.

Spot incroyable! Une vue de dingue à 360 degrés. A partir de 18h, les voitures s'en vont et ne restent que les vans, fourgons et CC qui peuvent alors choisir leur emplacement préféré. Seul défaut : c'est bien exposé au vent. Mais on a rien sans rien ;)

è un parcheggio sulla strada, non è in piano. ci possono stare diversi camper. qui la zona è molto ventosa e quindi preparatevi a ballare.

bellissima posto dove sostare molto vicino al faro di neist poit. molto affollato ma notte tranquillissima e vista impagabile. la più bella di tutta l isola. mettersi bene negli stalli se no prima o poi verranno la zona.

Great place. Stop off at glendale hall on the way there or the way back. They have toilets, huge car park and a brilliant wee honesty table with locally made crafts.

Good spot to stay the night, nice view. Very close to Neist Point, so perfect to watch the sunset. A bit crowded, there were roughly 30 vans with us, but there is enough space. There was some litter laying around, so please take your trash with you and throw it away in one of the the public litter boxes in the nearby towns. This way the place stays beautiful ;)

Just perfect. This is a great location with beautiful views and a great stop overnight (without any service or toilets). We had the best sunset ever here as we were very lucky with the weather.

Espectacular emplazamiento, con vistas maravillosas. Hay muchos sitios disponibles. El terreno es asfaltado. cuando llegamos hacia mucho viento pero luego por la noche se calmó y fue muy tranquila. No hay ningún ruido de coches hasta la mañana. La carretera para llegar es muy estrecha y hace complicada la conducción.

Probably the best view I've ever woken up to. Spectacular view and hikes with sheep wandering around. A busy place during the day but very calm at night and 4g internet. The wind was intense and loud when we arrived around 6pm but died down for the night.

Definitiv ein Besuch Wert, wunderschön! Wir blieben auch über Nacht mit unserem Motorhome, so eine Aussicht hat man selten.Wir waren ab zirka 17:30 dort hatten somit keine Probleme für ein Parkplatz und ab da waren auch nicht mehr so viele Leute. Jedoch ein Stern abzug da es sehr sehr windig war, ich fand kein richtigen Schlaf aber mein Mann hatte kein Problem damit.

Arrivés vers 19 hrs , nous avons trouvé facilement une bonne place. Nuit très tranquille. Coin venté mais assez protégé tout de même. Certaines places le long de la route sont en pente. Réseau faiblard.

Nuit calme. Beaucoup de passage le soir et le matin. Pas beaucoup de places a plat. Vue incroyable et promenade jusqu'au phare.

Top Top Top punto più ad ovest della Scozia, da vedere in tutti i modi! il faro si raggiunge con una ripida scalinata ma merita tutto! abbiamo fatto circa 2500Km in Scozia e le strade peggiori son proprio all'isola di Skye... roba da pazzi ...

Sehr schöne Aussicht, wirklich spektakulär. ⚠️ Achtung: Die Hinfahrt sollte man nur wagen wenn man wirklich sicher mit der Handhabung seines Fahrzeugs ist. Sehr enge, einspurige Straßen mit regem Gegenverkehr, teilweise nur ca. 2,30m breit. Also gut überlegen..

Très calme la nuit. Bon réseau téléphonique. Super coucher de soleil quand il fait beau. Nombreuses places.

Wundervolle Aussicht!! Sehr viele kostenlose Stellplätze links und rechts der Straße (die meisten davon recht eben) mit Markierungen vorhanden, die ab abends von mehreren Campern belegt waren, Wind war bei uns spürbar, aber nicht zu doll, keine Toiletten oder Mülleimer vorhanden. Es gibt kein Schild, dass das Parken in irgendeiner Form einschränkt oder overnight camping verbietet.

Vue extraordinaire qui compense le fait de dormir en bord de route. Nuit très calme, aucun passage après 21h. Balade du phare juste à côté.

giornata fortunata. tanto sole, niente vento e tante fotografie. Consiglio arrivare in mattinata. Per il ritorno, se c'è tempo bello, considera che tanti arrivano nel tardo pomeriggio per fotografie del tramonto. Strada stretta lunga e impegnativa, se non sei un buon autista pensa bene a cosa fai.

Wat een fantastische plek was dit! Voor dat de zon onderging was het aan de drukke kant. Maar wij hadden geluk. Na de zonsondergang gingen alle autos weg en een paar campers. We verbleven er met ongeveer 7/8 campers. Snachts 1x gemerkt dat we aan zee stonden, toen ging het er vanaf. Voor ons zeker de moeite waard om deze plek nog eens te bezoeken!

Great view, really windy, campervan shook a lot. Unfortunately it stank of piss where we were. Weather was mad, rain and sun each minute.

Magnifique point de vue. Les places de parking sont en longueur et à partager avec les voitures, nombreuses le soir pour assister au coucher de soleil. La route d'accès peut être délicate sur le dernier mile car étroite sans grande visibilité et dans passing place. Heureusement sans personne à l'aller, pour le retour, on verra .... ???

Were here during a downperiod. Only us and 3 other vans were staying. You can park on either side and some spots are completely flat. views are absolutely epic. We were there during a storm, it gets very windy there so beware of that. Road to this place is kinda tricky for bigger motorhomes

Tolle Aussicht für einen Sonnenuntergang. Viele Plätze zur Verfügung! Wir haben aber wo anders geschlafen, weil wir weiter mussten ..

Unkompliziertes Übernachten. Abends viele freie Parkplätze, guter Start für verschiedene Wanderungen und natürlich zum Lighthouse selber. Morgens trampelte ein Rind um den Van und ließ ihn wackeln. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Mooi uitzicht, vooral om de zonsondergang te zien bij de vuurtoren. Verder geen faciliteiten.

Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt an der Straße. Über Single Track Roads und einige Schlaglöcher erreichbar. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung des Neist Point Lighthouses.

Es war fantastisch für eine Nacht hier zu stehen. Es ist kaum windig gewesen. 4G Netz hat man auch. Geweckt wurde ich auf speziellerweise, da ein Schaf sich an meinem Camper gekratzt hat und der Van sich dadurch bewegt hat. Aber alles halb so schlimm gewesen, fand es eher witzig :-)

Incredible views. We have EE and had either no service or 1 bar 4G until we rounded the corner by the guy selling cakes/eggs from his house.

Wunderschönes Panorama! In der Nacht trotz vieler Nachbar ruhig. Auch am späten Abend sollten noch Platze frei sein. Auch wenn die Anfahrt sich sehr zieht lohnt es sich definitiv. Der Platz ist ein Muss!

Long single lane road to the Point, but lots of passing places, no problems in our 6.5m van. Lots of other vans also parked for the night. Quite wild and windy, as expected in the weather we had, great views and walk out to the lighthouse.

Lugar muy bonito para aparcar y pasar la noche, sin embargo hacía mucho viento y decidimos buscar otro sitio ya que nuestra campervan se movía mucho (había muchos coches visitantes y autocaravanas, así que quizá una plaza de aparcamiento diferente hubiera servido)

Vraiment beaucoup de vent. Vue magnifique mais tempête de vent et de pluie. Pas d’emplacement plat. Mais la vue est tellement belle.

Tot nu toe de mooiste plek hier in Schotland. De wind moet je erbij nemen. Toen we aankwamen waren bijna alle parkingplaatsen ingenomen, maar rond zonsondergang zijn alle auto's weg en was er meer dan plaats genoeg voor de /- 20 campers toen wij er waren. Slechts weinige plaatsen zijn vlak.

Pasamos dos noches en este parking, una de ellas con mucho viento y la otra sin nada de viento. Impresionantes vistas e ideal para hacer la ruta al faro.

Car camped here last night. It was wet and windy. We can't alter the weather though. There are more secluded areas on the road from dunvegan. No toilet, no bins but an excellent view. Can be very busy and congested at this time of year, but soon quietens down after sunset.

Vue à couper le souffle, pas de poubelles ni de toilettes, beaucoup de monde selon l’heure d’arrivée (nous y étions vers 19h en pleine saison et nous avons eu de la chance de trouver une place). Route d’accès un peu longue (selon densité de la circulation, bcp de passages à une seule voie)

Geniale Aussicht, aktuell abends voller Camper. Durch das parallel parken aber nicht so schlimm. Die Straße hin ist aber selbst für schottische Verhältnisse ein Abenteuer. Ca 16 Uhr kamen uns unendlich viele Autos entgegen, keiner kam mehr aneinander vorbei, ich dachte kurz, ich muss wieder rückwärts zurück. Mit tief in den Graben fahren ging es dann doch. Hinten war dann der halbe Parkplatz frei.

Grandiose Aussicht, toller Spaziergang zum Leuchtturm! Zufahrt über eine lange Single-Track-Road, abenteuerlich, wenn von zu vielen Autos befahren, weil das System dann nicht mehr funktioniert, aber es ist jede Mühe wert!!

Incredible spot!! Views are gorgeous and spotted various seabirds, grey seal and otter! Be comfortable with long single track roads to get there but definitely worth it. Good area to walk dogs.

stunning location. plenty of spots on tarmac, all relatively level. no cell service or toilets but worth it. some signs of toilet paper up the hill, take your rubbish with you!

De nombreuses places et assez grandes pour les longs camping cars. Du monde jusqu’au coucher de soleil puis nuit au calme. Réveil par les moutons! Magnifique vue, belle randonnée.

Toller Platz mit spektakulärer Aussicht! Parkplätze entlang der Straße, aber Abends ist nicht mehr viel los und es ist bis auf den Wind sehr ruhig. Damit das übernachten an diesem wunderschönen Ort auch weiterhin möglich ist, eine Bitte an alle: wenn man in die Natur sein Geschäft verrichtet, ist es das mindeste, das Klopapier wenigstens wieder mit zu nehmen, damit dieses hier nicht in der Gegend herum fliegt. Ein „No Overnight Parking“-Schild ist sehr schnell aufgestellt, was ich in dem Fall sehr gut nachvollziehen könnte.

Wunderschöner Ort zum Übernachten. Es ist ein bisschen windig. Mit einem Camper aber kein Problem. Bitte nicht in die Natur auf die Toilette gehen und dann nicht aufräumen, wie das hier einige "Gäste" gemacht haben.

Génial, beaucoup de monde mais plus calme en soirée. L'accès en voiture est parfois compliqué (single road). Il faudra être patient. La randonnée à côté est superbe.

Extraordinaire. Merci de nous laisser passer la nuit dans un tel lieu. Cela attire forcément donc ne pas arriver trop tard en pleine saison. Nuit très calme de 23h à 8h .

Ein wundervoller Ort um eine Nacht mit toller Aussicht zu verbringen. Der Blick ist einfach unschlagbar. Keine Toiletten und Mülleimer vorhanden. Wurden morgens von unzähligen Schafen geweckt. Herrlich!!!

Great spot for walking the point, and ideal when windy to get away from midge. Plenty of parking alongside the road, freshly paved and marked out so it is level. Although I would suggest not staying too late in the day if parking is minimal as locals may use it regularly and want to park there in the morning. Last thing we want is no overnight signs.

Wunderschöner Ausblick mit epischem Sonnenuntergang. Tolle Spaziergänge möglich. Sehr windig über Nacht, aber der Standort lässt das vergessen.

Top Aussicht, allerdings keine Sanitären Anlagen oder einen Mülleimer. Beides Findet man aber ein paar Minuten entfernt im Gemeindehaus.

Magnifique endroit ! On se gare de chaque côté de la route. Beaucoup de monde. Attendre que les voitures partent … et avoir de la chance ! Aucun service aucune poubelle ! Laissez l’endroit propre : des personnes jettent des mouchoirs et des sacs … Alors que c’est d’une beauté incroyable ! Aucun problème pour dormir, calme absolu mais les moutons sont au rendez-vous dès 5 heures du matin ou avant

Viele Plätze parallel zur Straße. Tagsüber viele PKW vor Ort aber Abends wird es ruhiger. Bei uns war sehr wenig wind, ansonsten natürlich sehr anfällig.

In der Nacht als ich dort war, war es sehr stürmisch & null Aussicht. Anfahrtsstraße leichter machbar als im Gegensatz zu anderen Straßen auf der Insel. Nachts standen bestimmt 10-15 andere Camper dort. Im Sommer sicherlich noch mehr. Hatte auf meiner Reise bereits schönere & einsamer Stellplätze. Finde das Freistehen auf der Insel problematisch, da eig. in jeder Parkbucht Nachts Camper stehen.

Die Straße hat weitestgehend einen neuen Belag und ist gut befahrbar. Ich war nur mit dem Rad da und konnte daher leider keinen angebotenen Kuchen aus dem Kühlschrank am Straßenrand kaufen. Mit den üblichen kleinen Wohnmobilen ist die Straße machbar.

Neist Point now looks like a dumping ground for huge fridge freezers, all lined up in a shiny white row. Completely ruined for those living here and our roads get wrecked by the continuous stream of motorhomes which are not suited to travel through our tiny overwhelmed communities.

Sehr schöner Ort mit super Aussicht. Hatten eine ruhige Nacht. Die Anfahrt war mit unserem 6,8m Camper kein Problem.

Sind hier mit unserem 7,4 mtr-Wohnmobil und hatten auf der Anfahrt hier her keine Probleme. Kamen vor 10 Uhr hier an, und hatten bis auf 3 oder 4 Camper keinen Gegenverkehr. Zudem fast freie Platzauswahl. Straße ist zu großen Teilen neu, ein paar kleine, aber umfahrbare Schlaglöcher gibt es noch. Alles andere ist beschrieben. Bei uns windete es auch stellenweise stark, aber für uns kein Problem.

Great spot to overnight, plenty of space and pretty level. Get there later and leave before 10am as it gets really busy with day tourists. Stunning views and a 1.7m round trip to walk to the lighthouse. Roads up are full of potholes but they are literally improving the roads now

Tolle Aussicht. Aber die Fahrt hierher ist ein Alptraum. Super schmal und Riesen Schlaglöcher. Mit WoMo nichts fur schwache Nerven.

Fuimos a la última hora de la tarde para ver el atardecer, y ya de paso pasar la noche ahí. El lugar es espectacular, pero la carretera para llegar es horrible (íbamos en motorhome). Al llegar no había mucho sitio, pero después del atardecer quedaron bastantes huecos libres. Durante la noche hubo un viento infernal que literalmente no nos dejó dormir, y tuvimos que aguantar como pudimos.

Superbe vue, beaucoup de place de stationnement. Pointe très venteuse, âme sensible s’abstenir, notre caravane a été secouée toute la nuit donc sensation de dormir dans un sèche linge. Pas de réseau téléphonique.

Übernachtung am 24.10.: Superschöne Aussicht, dafür sehr windig. Relativ lange Anfahrt über Single Track Road mit frei laufenden Schafen, aber es lohnt sich. An dem Abend ausreichend Platz (späte Ankunft). Kein WC, keine Entsorgung.

Breathtaking view, with a wonderful drive down a single track road. When we stayed there were a pair of Sea Eagles soaring overhead all day, until someone put a drone up. If you stay, please leave your drone in the box it came in.

Toller Stellplatz mit richtig schöner Aussicht!

Besuchten den Leuchtturm und blieben für eine Nacht mit vielen anderen Wohnmobilen hier stehen. Platz ist abends ausreichend, wenn die meisten Touristen verschwunden sind. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf das Meer, die Klippen und die Küste. Leider keine Toiletten in der Nähe.

Free overnight parking with a stunning view of Neist point and the other cliffs. Walk nearby to the lighthouse. Plenty of space for bigger cars/motor homes. We decided to sleep in the bottom of the campervan as it was very windy up top! Beautiful breakfast spot the next morning. Sunset is meant to be beautiful there too but was cloudy when we were there. No facilities nearby.

Selten einen geileren Platz gehabt... Geiler Leuchtturm. Geile Aussicht. Es ist allerdings nicht viel Platz und zudem noch uneben. Gegen Abend wird es aber deutlich ruhiger, sodass man dann einen Platz findet.

L’un des spots les plus extraordinaires d’Écosse pour y passer la nuit ! Terrain plat par endroit, impasse donc pas de passage la nuit. Vue incroyable à quelques mètres de là sur Neist Point (coucher de soleils sublimes) et beaucoup de place la nuit. Assez venteux mais rien de bien méchant. À faire absolument !

A lovely spot with great views and an interesting pathway to the lighthouse. A very windy night so at about 10pm we moved to a more secluded spot a couple of miles away. Had a much quieter night, only to be woken up at 7am by cows rubbing themselves up against our motorhome!! Returned to our original spot for the lovely sea views whilst having breakfast so all in all, a grand experience.

Viele Camper vor Ort, aber trotzdem ruhige Nacht gehabt und schöne Aussicht am Morgen. Natürlich unbedingt zum Leichtturm laufen.

Amazing views and a lot of space!

Très beau spot, il faut monter à droite du parking pour avoir la vue photographiée dans tous les livres! La ballade au phare est sympathique! Nous avons passé là une belle soirée et nuit ventée mais quelle vue lors du petit déjeuner!

One of our favorite spot in Scotland. The view is just incredible !! We arrived around 6pm and found a great spot. If you arrive too early, I'm sure you'll find a spot somewhere temporarily and then you'll be able to wait for people to leave after sunset to move for a better one. The road to come was totally fine with our 7,40m motorhome, so no worries. The bonus was the cows coming all around us!

Uneven road but such a nice place and views. Ok for motorhomes, but road will be difficult with a very long one.

Ein sehr schöner Platz um nach der Leuchtturm Wanderung und „Gipfelbesteigung“ die Nacht zu verbringen. Sehr windig, aber beste Aussicht. Wir sind am Abend (18:30 Uhr) gekommen und hatten genügend freie Plätze. Am Morgen sind wir vor 10 Uhr los, um vor dem Touristen Strom die einspurige Straße hinter uns zu haben.

Most beautiful spot you can ever find. Not a lot of places to park so be sure to arrive by the end of the day when day’s tourists are gone. A lot of wind but the view is so beautiful. Night was super calm as nobody is driving there at night. A little bit of phone signal, no facilities.

Ein fantastischer Ort zum Einschlafen und Aufwachen! Wir hatten eine sehr windige Nacht, aber es lohnt sich definitiv. Es bietet sich an, früh da zu sein, da die guten Plätze sehr begehrt sind und einige Autofahrer Passing Places als Parkplätze nutzen.

Nunca he dormido en un lugar con unas vistas tan espectaculares!. Recomiendo llegar a última hora cuando ya se hace de noche y se van los coches y sólo quedan autocaravanas y campers. Algunas plazas no son planas.

Vue sublime et nombreux emplacements. Les places de parking sont bétonnées donc la plupart sont à plat. Profitez de la Neist point au coucher du soleil, du calme et bien sûr des moutons !

Magnífico lugar para aparcar al lado de la carretera y visitar los valles y el faro. De las 10h a las 13h suele estar lleno, pero a partir de esa hora vas encontrando sitios incluso para Autocaravanas grandes. Al final del camino puedes dar la vuelta, cambio de sentido, y para llegar, aunque es estrecho hay muchos sitios de anchura para que pasen dos coches.

De nombreuses places de parking bitumées avec une vue magnifique sur les falaises. Très calme la nuit, nous n’avons pas eu de vent. De nombreux moutons à côté du van le matin. Les randonnées pour Neist Point sont juste à côté c’est génial !

Die Aussicht hier ist absolut überragend! Viele Plätze, morgens wird es recht schnell voll, aber das ist ok. Der Weg hierhin ist zwar wie in anderen Kommentaren nicht allzu komfortabel, allerdings war das ohne große Probleme auch mit unserem 6,50m langen Camper machbar. Leider war es die Nacht sehr stürmisch und uns hat es ordentlich durchgeschüttelt. Trotzdem super!

Parking avec une vue magnifique. Nous y sommes. Avec pluie brouillard et vent surréaliste pour un mois de juillet mais c est beau quand même la balade jusqu au phare offre un paysage exceptionnel

Super toller Platz, mega Ausblick. Wie schon erwähnt, später kommen, dann gibt es genug Platz. Straße bis hoch zum Platz ist recht mühsam, viel Schlaglöcher , sehr enge Straßen. Unser Van ist 6.50m ...größer dürfte er für die Straße und das Parken nicht sein. !!!!

Überragender Spot alleine schon wegen der Aussicht! Dazu kostenfrei und ruhig. Sind abends gegen 21 Uhe gekommen. Da war reichlich frei.

Toller Ort für Ein, Zwei Nächte. Am besten in der Früh bis 9 Uhr kommen oder am späten Nachmittag so ab 16 Uhr. Dann gibt es genug Plätze für das WoMo / Campervan. Strecke dort hin ist eine Single Track mit einigen Schlaglöcher, jedoch entschädigt der Ausblick alles.

Vue extraordinaire. Au calme, juste réveillé par les moutons. Il faut arriver plus tard (18h) pour avoir de la place. Beaucoup de voitures pour le coucher de soleil. Malheureusement nuages, nous n’avons pas pu en profiter.

Ein zauberhafter Ort mit toller Kulisse und unendlichen weitem Blick aufs Meer. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist sehr eng jedoch gibt es Haltebuchten zum ausweichen. Alle fahren sehr rücksichtsvoll sodass es problemlos mit dem Wohni 7m bergauf ging. Oben gibt es am Rand Stellplätze. Sehr viel los und kaum Platz am späten Nachmittag. Parken Sie nur auf den markierten Seitensteifen sonst Strafe 60 Pfund

Une vue incroyable sur le coucher de soleil !!!! Attention aux midges. Le camping sauvage n'est pas trop permis sur l'île de Skye mais là bas cela semblait OK... Pour les caravanes et les van ! Pour les tentes en revanche, attention, le lendemain un ranger est venu avec son quad et les a réveillés disons... Énergiquement. Le site est très fréquenté ! Pas sûr d'avoir de la place.

Very busy site, lots of big motorhomes the night we stayed. Cars/vans parked all the way up. Busy throughout the day & people coming up for sunset. Was quiet through the night & a beautiful setting. No facilities or bins here, nearest in Dunvegan. Fabulous views of the lighthouse and out to sea.

Cadre exceptionnel qui se mérite. Accès par une petite route étroite et parfois chaotique de 17 km. Mais la récompense est là. Aujourd'hui une mer d'huile,ciel bleu et pas de vent . incroyable ! Contrairement aux autres sites, je pense qu'il est inutile d'arriver trop tôt. En soirée les places se libérent des voitures de la journée .

Excellente nuit. Nous sommes arrivés dans la brume et avons vu le temps progressivement se lever. nous étions 3 à y passer la nuit. Et le matin nous avons pu voir la pointe peuplée uniquement de mouton.

Arrived here on the 04/03/2022 in the pitch black. woke up to an amazing experience. highly recommended. We were the only people here and the weather was lovely. morning walk to the lighthouse. Great place, will be back very soon.

La vue est très belle mais il vaut mieux se préparer à être secoué par le vent qui arrive plein ouest. Un petit abris permet de s’abriter en plaçant le van juste derrière mais sans cela je crois que je n’aurais pas pu passer la nuit tellement le vent était fort.

Good tarmac car park. There is enough space for about 6 vans. We were alone overnight but woke up to 4 cars and a motorhome in the car park likely walking down to the lighthouse for whale spotting - we stayed in Feb and didn’t see any. Not much shelter from the wind unless you can get next to the cafe (which was closed Feb 2022). No bins or facilities

Stayed here 1 night. Brilliant spot. Very quiet, great views. As mentioned, it’s very windy, but we loved it! The walk down to the lighthouse is bracing! It’s a perfect place to stop.

Smallest road for a motorhome! Single track with passing places lots of pot holes. Would not take a motorhome in busy time. Beautiful but very windy. Limited 4g. Overnight stay fine. Boggy and wet left early as very high winds and bad weather.

Gorgeous views and plenty of space, fair few campervans and motor homes as well as the cars of those camping on nearby headland. I imagine it’s always windy as it’s a point, the surrounding sheep will wake you early. Take midgy spray if you plan to sit out.

The most amazing view with plenty of free parking; Sheep near by so be careful with dogs but we had no trouble.. No toilets but worth it for the view!

We've done the nc500 and stopped in many beautiful places, but this one has the most spectacular views. Lots of places to park on both sides of the road. I can imagine during the day it gets busy with everyone coming to see the Lighthouse, but super quiet all night even though there were lots of other cars parked around.

Views are beautiful, very busy when we went was difficult to get parked. Very windy the night we stayed so didn’t get the best sleep, moved on early morning to sort breakfast etc elsewhere.

Place is stunning! Even if you don’t wanna do the hike to the lighthouse lots of room to wander round, parking both sides clearly marked out for all. Slept great! except getting woke up by noisy loud neighbours in the morning, rest was spot on perfect

Absolutely fabulous views, lots of clearly marked wide parking, parallel to the road, which is a dead end. No traffic at all at night. Had our chairs out at the side of our motorhome looking out to the sea and the spectacular cliffs. Great for walking, climbing, fishing and good platform for swimming off not far from the lighthouse. Popular stop for motorhomes and campervans No restrictions

Nice view and good for a sunset but was very windy when we were there. We moved in the middle of the night as couldn’t take the wind anymore.

Brilliant spot with excellent views, pretty busy through the day with walkers and a fair few campers at night. Great sunrise/sunset and even managed to get some photos of the milky way.

Long drive to get here but there’s plenty of space so no worries what time you turn up. Great place to watch the wildlife in the morning and to star gaze at night, will definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot. Arrived there at around 6pm so it wasn't busy at all. Plenty of space, very calm and great views. Nice walk to the lighthouse. The road was much better than I expected, with many Passing Places close to each other and good visibility. There is a place at the end of the road to turn around too.

Lovely place busy during the day but peaceful place to spend the night , can be a little breezy, but your on the Isle of Skye , what do you expect .

Parking area right at Neist Point and it looked as if some new parking may have been added since other posts. The road up is single carriageway but there are so many passing places it’s really no problem at all. Levelling blocks may be required depending where you get a space. Most importantly, get there to watch the sun set!

Wunderschöne Aussicht, allerdings steht man direkt auf dem betonierten Besucherparkplatz. Tagsüber ist sehr viel los, am besten kommt man hier gegen Abend an, wenn die meisten Touristen schon wieder weg sind. Bei uns war es sehr windig.

The car park is small with 8 or so places and a turning space but there are numerous spaces for vans and cars for 200 metres either side of the road before this car park. It was extremely busy when we went at 5pm and the traffic kept coming up until 8pm. The single track road was terrible at a couple of places for a big motorhome. Arrive after 9pm if you want your sanity, and leave before 9am.

Ein betonierter Parkplatz am Neist Point mit vorgelagerten Haltebuchten an der Straßenseite. Zur Hochsaison vor allem tagsüber stark frequentiert!!! Sicherlich eine atemberaubende Aussicht...für mich aber tatsächlich nur ein Parkplatz, keine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit Kindern und auch nicht inmitten der Natur (auch wenn drumherum alles grün ist).

This is an amazing spot, with beautiful views, sunsets. Stayed here for the night with 3 other motorhomes. I assume it gets busier during the high season (we visited early April). The views and walks from here well worth the drive.

Une très belle vue et un très bel endroit. Vous serez certainement pas seul à vous installer pour la nuit donc si vous recherchez un endroit perdu pour être seul ce ne sera pas le bon endroit. Le petit plus : se faire réveiller par un troupeau de mouton ça n'a pas de prix !!!

Ça avait l'air sympa, mais nous n'y sommes pas restés, une tempête nous est tombé dessus à minuit. Intenable. Sinon belle vue, et très calme. Le vent vient plein ouest, avec un petit véhicule, possibilité de se garer le long du seul bâtiment et donc de se protéger.
