Nice and quiet place to stay. In the evening the guarde nationale came and asked me to move into Tatahoine because of safety.
Juste à côté de Chenini au sommet d'une mesa (montagne de la table). Vous pouvez rester sur un endroit où vous voyez (et êtes vu depuis) le Chenini historique ou vous pouvez vous cacher derrière une petite colline. Il y a une bonne couverture réseau 4G. l'accès se fait par la route vers la mosquée des 7 dormants. les derniers mètres sont sur une piste, mais chaque voiture standard devrait pouvoir le faire.
Right next to Chenini on top of a mesa (table mountain). You can stay on a place where you see (and are seen from) historical Chenini or you can hide behind a small hill. There is good 4G network coverage. access is from the road towards the 7 dormants mosque. the last few metres are on a piste, but every standard car should be able to make it.
Direkt neben Chenini auf einem Mesa (Tafelberg). Sie können an einem Ort bleiben, an dem Sie das historische Chenini sehen (und von dort aus gesehen werden), oder Sie können sich hinter einem kleinen Hügel verstecken. Es gibt eine gute 4G-Netzabdeckung. Der Zugang erfolgt von der Straße in Richtung der Moschee mit den 7 Schlafenden. Die letzten Meter sind auf einer Piste, aber jedes Standardauto sollte es schaffen.
Justo al lado de Chenini en la cima de una mesa (montaña de la mesa). Puedes quedarte en un lugar donde veas (y te vean desde) el histórico Chenini o puedes esconderte detrás de una pequeña colina. Hay buena cobertura de red 4G. el acceso es por carretera a la mezquita de los 7 durmientes. los últimos metros están en una pista, pero todos los autos estándar deberían poder hacer esto.

endlessfootstep05/01/2024Waren zwei Nächte hier, es ist sehr ruhig. Zweimal kam jemand vorbei um eine Tour zum Dorf zu verkaufen. Aber alles sehr nett. Wasser gibt es weiter hinter Richtung Oase oder auch an der Moschee. Aktuell nicht viel los hier, in der Hauptsaison alles voller Busse.
PF171219/12/2023Schöner Stellplatz mit toller Aussicht. Der Wächter der alten Moschee ist ein sehr guter Guide, auch für das alte Dorf oben am Wir haben ihn 20 TD und einen Stilo gegeben. Sehr empfehlenswert.
JackSpear9424/11/2023Spent a lovely night here, very peaceful with fantastic view. Close to mosque where very friendly guardian took us on a walk of the surrounding mountains. Beautiful location, relatively flat. 4G wasn’t great (Orange).

Great place! we stayed for 1 night and it was total peace and a great spot to walk to the 7 dormants mosque and old chenini. Don't be fooled by the tour guides who hang around at the entrance to the old town area before the parking, they will probably ask to pay for tours or to give them something for parking but it's not a paid parkup. completely in nature, they just try their luck being cheeky!
