(CV35 7DD) Haywood - Haywood Lane

A lovely place to park for the night, and right next to a forest of walks. There were two other vans here overnight, and a number of tractors who went past - but nothing too noisy. A great place to sleep.

What a little gem. Me and the four legged friend enjoyed this parkup, with some great walks for us both in the woods, including the muddy puddles for him. The road is mostly single track, but I managed it in my 9.5m x 3.9m high truck, although gave the roof a nice sweep with the low hanging branches. Would definitely stay again. Quietest nighttime Park up yet.

Really nice place to park near the forest. Stayed here for one night with a cute girlie. Pretty quiet at night, only a few cars passed by. Locals walking dogs in the morning, super friendly. Would recommend.

Good sized lay-by for the local forest. Car park seams permanently locked so the locals park on the road. Very quiet at night. Not facilities. Good 4g. Convenient location. Would recommend.

Stayed 28/3/24 on route down south. We approached from netherwood lane, it was about 9pm so dark, tight in places but fine if you take your time. Bit of flood water from field on way down to the park up. 1 other van there, lay by is quite big so plenty of room. Vodafone & 3 mobile signal ok. Busy in the morning with people visiting the wood.

As all previous comments really. No noticeable litter around and quiet all night. For the purists we noted M40/M42 distant traffic rumble though, that could be the calm and clear morning. Lastly, we had a good EE mobile signal.

Ok for what it is. Quiet and virtually no traffic overnight. A difficult area to find anything so one of the better one’s around here but I wouldn’t say five star, it’s a lay-by on a lane.

stayed 17.10 as its a short drive to NEC for a motorhome show. lovely and quiet. came back then on the 19th and went for a walk around the woods. lovely place.

Safe and quiet layby beside country road. Woodland walk on one side and open fields on other. Arrived about 9pm. One vehicle in layby left when we arrived. Only one other visitor who came about 10 pm to look at bats. Just two cars passed before 11pm. No hassle at all. Up at 5.30am to sound of dawn chorus and off to Cropredy festival shortly. Big thumbs up.

Great stop over. Arrived at 8pm and there were only a couple cars in the lay-by, which had left by 10pm. We were the only van all night, only heard two cars pass all night. Would use again.

Peaceful parkup, close to the motorway. Narrow country road leading up to the parkup. No other vans and it was very quiet.

Lovely spot. Directly adjoining the road but it’s a narrow lane with barely any traffic. Noticeably quiet and tranquil. Woodland on one side and crop fields opposite. No noisy teens during my two-night stay but some litter. I did a litter pick and tidied away a laughing gas canister but during my stay the only visitors were ramblers, dog walkers, and riders on horseback. Recommended.

great little stop for the night. very peaceful, dark, quiet, lovely view. When cars did go past they were quite fast so be aware.

Au bord d'une route de campagne très peu fréquentée, près d'un bois, il y a de la place pour se garer, nous étions 3 véhicules de toute taille ce soir ĺà et il restait de la place. La route d'accès est en très bon état, lisse, un peu étroite de temps en temps. Calme. Situation géographique juste avant Birmingham très pratique.

lovely quiet spot, few cars & dog walkers around early afternoon but just us & one other French van overnight. large tarmac parking lay-by set in from the road. right next to the woods, ideal for walks.

Great for sunsets. Quiet. Extensive woods nearby. Lovely spot.

Perfect little spot for a stopover. Quiet at night and doze off with the scent of the flowering honeysuckle.

Excellent stopover. Beautifully peaceful, and quiet except for the hooting of owls in the woods! Level tarmac parking with plenty of space for people to pass. Minimal disruption in the morning before we moved off, from people coming to walk their dogs and a little muntjac that appeared at the edge of the trees. Lovely.
