geoSPOT:Welcome to Finca La Loma!
After leaving our homecountry and traveling through Spain with our caravan, we found a place to call our home. Our small Finca on the hill in the countryside of Almansa, is a peaceful place with lovely views, nature all around and all the basic neccesities for a few nights or even weeks. We've fallen in love with the silence, space and breathtaking sunsets from our own backyard and we would love to share this wonderful place with (other) travelers.
Our land is not paved and we do not have designated places, so you'll be free to choose the spot that fits you. There are places in the sun, but there is enough room if you prefer a spot with some shade. Both sunny places and shady places can be combined with a lovely view of El Mugrón and a peaceful sunset in the evening. The road to our place is paved, up until the last 100/150 meters. It's good enough to drive, but note that a couple of spots are rocky, so please drive carefully.
We have a full "outside" kitchen that you are welcome to use. We offer some other services for a small additional fee, which you can request and we'd be happy to help wherever we can. You're welcome to bring your fourlegged, furry friends, but since the land is not fully fenced, we ask you to keep them on a leash at all times.
You can enjoy the peace and quiet while having all facilities at just a 15 minute drive. In Almansa you can find a variety of different supermarkets, a hospital, laundry options, countless local shops, a big inside market and a trainstation with direct connections to Valencia, Alicante and Albacete. In Almansa you can find several places to bring your garbage and there's a place to lose your grey and black water.
In and around our Finca there are lots of places to visit and activities to try. The Pantano de Almansa, Mont Arabí and El Mugrón are great places to walk, hike or take a bikeride. You can stroll through the historic centre of Almansa and a walk up to the castle and/or visit a nearby town in the Ayora Vallei. If you're a fan of (Spanish) gastronomy, the Maralba with it's two Michelin Stars and Spain's Sommelier are a must to pay a visit. With the welcoming town of Almansa, the almond-, grape- and olive fields around and the beautiful places to visit, you won't regret a visit to this amazing place.
