Great place for a stop over, sunset was gorgeous at night. Was nearly full, quiet place. Def recommend to use.

I shouldn’t post this because I don’t want people to use it. This place is stunning. Stayed here Saturday night, 2 other vans there. Peaceful and safe. Beautiful sunset and lovely walks along the beach. No phone service, but that was fine for us, we wanted the peace and quiet.

Such a nice place, all you hear at night is the sound of waves and wind which is nice to sleep. I saw a lady with a bag picking up rubbish by the sea as she walked her dog, she’s inspired me to do the same. If at least some of us do that I’m sure we’ll be more welcome at these amazing places. :)

Great little spot! Limited signal and no facilities other than a bin - but so close to the sea and unbothered by anyone. Will say the postcode initially took my to the right on approach, but the spot is actually round the bend towards the left.

An excellent wild ‘off the grid’ location Good level parking and even in a gale this is a brilliant find. Roads approaching could cause trouble to larger vans and there is a steep curve just as you approach the parking place.

wie die Fotos zeigen, ist der Platz weder sonderlich hübsch, noch sonderlich privat. Aber wenn einen das nicht stört, dann hat man einen Platz so nah am Meer, dass die Wellen schon fast nach dem Camper greifen, was eine tolle Gelegenheit für eine Nacht ist. Die Anfahrt war mit unserem 5,5m Van (2,7m Breite) noch sehr easy, größere Fahrzeuge könnten schnell Probleme bekommen!

Not suitable for solo female campers if there are no other vans. No mobile signal. There is a row of small dwellings next to the park up, curious males watching from door ajar or hanging about. There were the occasional dog walker, but longer i waited, it felt unsafe to stay the night. Since it is winter and was getting dark fast, I called nearby Highboon wood skyline and got a spot for 20 quid.

So beautiful. Feels like you have the whole of the healing sea to yourself - & you wake up to the sound of waves and view out of your front window you can rarely lay claim to. Thanks again Park4night. (Might feel like you took a wrong turn right before you get there - but then it opens out to this fantastic space). Adequate mobile signal, small bin, no height restrictions.

Yet another great park up! Quite popular with the camper community so expect other vans appearing through the day and evening. A walk on the beech is a must and the view is great. 5 bars of EE 5G. Please be respectful and help keep this lovely place.

Superbe spot! Vue exceptionnelle. L’endroit est tranquille. Nous y avons dormi en toute sécurité. A voir absolument.

Fantastic spot for smaller units right on the sea edge bit wild but it would be a superb stop over I stopped for a couple of brews when weather was raining sideways defo will be coming back to this one road down to it bit narrow and steep on approach , had some phone signal of EE , if you like the sound of the sea this is the one for you NO services

Malgré un emplacement à priori peu favorable (train, centrale) c'est un endroit génial, calme peu fréquenté et bénéficiant d'une vue imprenable sur l'île de Man. Les voisins sont très bienveillants.

Fantastic location! Wild but incredible views and saw a beautiful rainbow at sunset. One other van arrived in the evening and we both moved our vans away from the edge to escape the wind at bit!

Beautiful peaceful place just above a stoney beach. Bit narrow on a steep entrance but wasn’t a problem in a 7m Motorhome. Couple more campers arrived late evening. A few dog walkers but they left at tea time. Even with the tide out, the noise from the sea on the pebbles is loud so recommend ear plugs for a quiet night’s sleep. Apart from that it’s pure bliss! Bin in corner so please keep clean.

Super Platz, selbst bei stürmischem Wetter relativ ruhig. Toll Ebbe und Flut hier zu beobachten. Man kann hier gut ein paar Tage verbringen, wenn man keine V E benötigt.

Had a lovely evening here watching the sun set over the Isle of Man. Nice and quiet, flat concrete park up. Friendly locals. Would return.

absolutely stunning .. we have large 7.3 van so was quite hairy coming down single road ... train above .. but hardly noticed ..

Very good spot however when is very windy it can be difficult sleep at night. we have been in April and defini tely we back summer time.

Brilliant spot that I've been to before. Last night a huge group had set up camp with BBQ and sound decks/speakers. Asked them to turn the music down, received abuse, police called. Such a shame that the thoughtless few spoil it for others.

Steep, narrow road down but no problem for smaller vans. Very quiet. Be respectful and park nose in to leave more space for dog walkers and fisherman to park. lovely cycling area along the narrow country roads to St Bees or Egremont etc. One rubbish bin in the corner. Please keep clean.

An amazing park up great view flat parking lovely to hear the waves. Locals very friendly. If you do come PLEASE keep it clean and be respectful to the locals. Great getaway.

Amazing parking just a huge concrete slab facing the stone beach. One bin, good EE signal. Drive down slow it’s narrow but easily do able in a van, mine is transit lwb and no issues. Police came around 10.30pm stopped for 2 mins then left. Would stay again.

Two vans overnight . The concreted flat area has views south along the coast to Sellafield. Chalet bungalows nearby at same level. Don't be put by narrow twisting lane down from Nethertown (past sign "Tivoli"). No problems, no signs.

Couldn’t get any closer to the beach… one litter bin use it please !! no overnight parking signs so all good…

stayed on a Monday night very quiet, we only seen a few people the whole time we were there. only down fall was the bin was full and people had left rubbish all on the floor.

Amazing place to camp for a night or two. Very quiet, secluded and only another two campers pulled up for the night. unbelievable sunsets. No service or Toilets but there is a bin in the far corner.

Some “travellers” have set up camp here, without respect to the environment. Can understand why the Police come round!! Not pleasant. Such a shame.

Very nice flat concrete pitch, with views straight on to the pebble beach. Very quite overnight. Police Patrol came by at 2300hrs and had no issues with overnighters. There is one bin on site, no other facilities. There are some beach homes nearby, but no nearby shops. Nice walks along the beach.

Great peaceful place BUT very narrow approach road,not one for the hire vans large cobblestone beach with some sand no tv phone intermittent (o2)

The previous review is false. You will NOT get moved on by the police from this location (unless you are otherwise acting illegally). You can park all day and overnight without the police being interested. (I know this 100% as I live locally). Just please keep the place tidy! The site is a concrete car park by the beach.

Informed of no overnight stopping by the police and left the area. Apparently this is happening more at this location. Headed into the national park where I had no issue for the night.

Super nice and quiet place. Fits probably 15 vans but we were there alone during Easter. No reception. Ok approach on a concrete road, just narrow.

Harsh, but I deducted for the tight steep entrance road, which may put off anyone of a nervous disposition on the way down. Coming back up could also be a challenge if someone is coming down. Flat concrete slab with a drop, check handbrake! pebbley beach not the best to walk on.

superb spot! lovely and peaceful and had two other vans so felt comfortable spent the day enjoying it, even good signal so we could work and a bin! going on my favorites list!

Great place to stay, well out of the way didn't see a person all night, lovely falling asleep to the crashing of the waves only 10m away, hard standing is level,

Great night spent here. Rather quite however there is a train track the runs at the top of the hill. Not disturbed at all. Litter bin. Hard standing.
