Je ne recommande pas ce spot. Même si on est entouré.e de verdure, il y a quand même un pont avec une route très passante, même la nuit, ce qui génère du bruit. Par ailleurs, des personnes louches viennent s'y garer en fin de journée et mettent de la musique fort le soir (point de deal ?). Nous nous sommes sentis en insécurité même si rien n'est arrivé, ouf !

Ebener und sauberer Parkplatz mit einigen Abfallbehältern, perfekt für Spaziergänge in mehrere Richtungen mit den Hunden am Fluss entlang. Einheimische kommen frühmorgens bis späten Abend zum Spaziergang mit ihren Hunden. Wir standen über Nacht allein und man hört lediglich die Autos an der naheliegenden Brücke.

Nice spot for a night, lovely walks along the river and not much noise. Road was no problem in a 8m MH. Internet was good also.
Spent a peaceful night here with a bit of traffic noise. The walks both upstream and downstream are great, dogs loved it. We felt very safe, the odd dog walker parking up and of course couples. No boy racers. We’ll stay again. No facilities other than rubbish bins. Good internet connection.
Stopped here for our evening meal, took the dogs for a nice walk by the river. Didn’t stay we had to be home for work. Level hard standing with bins provided and yes a bit of road noise from the A74 not sure if it would have bothered us or not. Clearly a popular place to walk your dog!
Yes there is road noise but you are below the road and did not bother us. Almost flat parking. Good walking paths next to river.
Not great if you're sensitive to road noise but reasonably flat, lots of parking places, bins and a wee riverside walk if you fancy a saunter
Aan het eind van een hobbelige smalle weg. Alleen 1 auto geparkeerd. Afgelegen. Wij kwamen snachts aan en het voelde niet veilig. Doorgereden en in Castle Douglas op het parkeerterrein van de Coop gestaan.

Stayed last night spot on place quite was parked with an over van will come back again, you can hear the traffic but was ok
Lovely park up, next to river. Good walks along the river bank. Busy road bridge, so can hear traffic noise, other than that it’s a Great stop, will stay again.

Good night next to a river. Decent signal. A good bit of noise from the road and trainline, but you soon forget about it. There are bins too
Great spot, clean with 2 large rubbish bins. Beautiful walks along the river. Only downside is it can get noisy as very close to the main road so may be a problem if you're a light sleeper. We will definitely be using this spot again
A quiet carpark with mostly dog walkers and shore by the river for dog walks. There’s also a burns trail.
