Handy spot to park if you want to go paddle boarding across the road used to be yellow lines in the old days but you can park on the other side of them. Could stop the night but it would be noisy

Not a legal place to stay. On a noisy main road that is the only way on and off the island for police so expect to get moved on. (Or broken into or vehicle damaged as we did)

I stayed here in our large motorhome in August with my two young children as it was getting late and I couldn’t find anywhere else. It was nice and easy to park but the road noise was horrific all night. The kids managed to sleep but I really struggled with the noise. I wouldn’t recommend it overnight unless you have decent earplugs!!

Not a terrible spot, level parking and usually plenty of room. Great if you plan to get up early to go climbing. No facilities though and sometimes people arsing about in cars at night.

We stop here alot if room, Only for the day though as it would be noisy at night, just across the road is ideal for paddle boarding etc, just make sure your drive wheels are not in loose gravel
