Unfortunately the new 2m barriers have recently closed this spot off to larger vans and motorhomes, same with the other two carparks along the street. -Otherwise, a great spot to overnight, Dart station a few minutes walk away.
VW T6 with a pop top just squeezed under the height barrier (2.1m). Good spot with lovely views and a 10 minute walk to the Sydney Parade train station which is then a 10 minute train into Dublin centre. If you have a larger van then don’t bother.

Parking payant en semaine de 11h à 17h. Nous y avons dormi une nuit en van. Jolie vue. Proche Dublin en transport (arrêt Sydney Parade - AR 5,20€ par personne). Petite frayeur tout de même à cause d’une personne visiblement alcoolisée étant venue taper aux vitres du véhicules vers 23h. Hormis cet incident sans conséquence, nous avons bien dormi.

The height barrier that used to be left permanently open has now been closed. There’s no sign indicating the height but it appears to be 2m. A VW T6.1 California fits under just fine - but just about. Still one of the best spots near the center of Dublin for an overnight. But only for the smaller vans now.

Good place for an overnight, 5 min walk to Sydney Parade Dart station for access to the city. Perfect place to stay over before catching the early ferry in Dublin.
Direkt am Meer. Sehr schön. 7,3m gingen nur mit vollem ausnutzen des Überhanges. Viel Betrieb aufgrund der schönen Lage. Gut und günstig per Bahn in die Stadt (zu Fuß gut erreichbar). Ticketautomat steht an der Straße

Excellent stopover with a view of the sea. Free overnight parking and very little noise once all the joggers and dog walkers go home. Easy access by train (dart) into Dublin city centre. Train station approx 10 min walk down Sydney Parade and approx 15 min journey from there.

Great place to park overnight. Close to Dublin ferry terminal. Passing traffic can be heard, but not too noisy at night. Superb sea views and you can watch the ferries going in and out of the port. Busy with dog walkers during the day. Would stay there again.
Great carpark not too far out of Dublin, camper next to us ordered an ubar and went into town for night. lovely view out over the sea. no amenities short walk to a fuel station that has great selection and outside has a food van that does desserts. great parkup that's gets busy around 5pm with folk walking doings or going for walk along beach front, would recommend snd use again.
Stayed overnight with no issues. Paid for parking until 5pm then it’s free until 11am. Lovely view out to sea, the train is only a 5 minute walk away which takes you straight into the centre of Dublin in 10 minutes.
Quiet spot on the water. Stayed Saturday-Monday along with a few other vans and felt very safe. Circle K across the street and a public restroom a short walk away. Beautiful view!
Ca. 15 Minuten von der Fähre. Ruhiger, sauberer und sicherer Parkplatz mit weiteren Campervans. Ausreichend Parkplätze und direkt am Strand. Abends sind Spaziergänger und Jogger unterwegs. Super für eine Übernachtung vor oder nach der Fährfahrt.
Nice spot to park! Lovely view of the beach in the morning. Nice places to eat & drink nearby. Felt very very safe & lots of spaces available. Nearest toilet is in a fuel station nearby!
Sehr guter Parkplatz zum Übernachten ist an der Straße etwas belebt. Guter Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch in Dublin oder zum Fährhafen. Von Mo.-Fr.von 11:00h bis 17:00h gebührenpflichtig am Automaten.
Super parking à côté de la mer, parfait pour visiter Dublin. On est resté garé là toute la journée, aucun soucis. Sécurisé et à 10min à pied de l’arrêt de tram Sydney Parade de pour aller dans le centre de Dublin en 12min !
Parking bien situado para visitar Dublín. Se puede coger el tren en Sydney Parade o varios autobuses: en Merrion Road el número 4, 7, 7A; ó en St John Road el C1 ó C2. Vale 4,80€ de 11h a 17h de Lunes a sábado. Domingo gratuito. Para mi, el único inconveniente es el ruido de coches durante la noche, bien es cierto que pasan pocos pero muy cerca. Recomiendo tapones para los oídos :-)
Parfait pour visiter Dublin, ligne de train toute proche (Sidney parade). un peu bruyant le matin et le soir car beaucoup de passages mais belle vue. nous étions 4 ce matin. les autres parking sur la même avenue étaient eux aussi bien occupés par des campings cars. tres bonne adresse
Wahrscheinlich der lauteste Ort der Insel. Straße sehr nah aber guter Ausgangspunkt für die Stadtbesichtigung.

Couldn't ask for a better spot so close to Dublin Centre. The surrounding area is very nice and views over the bay are lovely, great for a sunrise. Lots of comings and goings so don't expect peace and quiet, it's just a grande spot to nip in and out of Dublin.

La circulation est importante soir et matin mais nous sommes dans une capitale. aucune insécurité jour et nuit dans ce quartier résidentielle. stationnement payant 11h-17h 4,80€ max
looks like there was a height restriction but has been removed. no issues and a glorious sunrise. Few taxis parked and a few people came and went, quiet nights sleep. Noticed vans in thr other two locations as drove to the port.
Very good place to stay overnight in Dublin, near the sea, and 20 minutes walk from the town center. Plenty of space in the night, other motorhome in the parking. I have a 6.5 meters and it fits well. No height restrictions and very quite.
Stellar place to park for Dublín if you have a larger vehicle. Stayed 3 nights, 2 of which we overnighted in Dublin. Absolutely no issues. Very quiet at night, busier during the day, but mostly dog walkers. It’s free on weekends or €5 a day during the week. Close to bus and train stop; 20 min ride into the city. It was nearly empty on all 3 nights and one other camper arrived on the 3rd night.

Excellent! Free on weekends and evenings. No problems parking over night, ended up staying two nights! It’s a very busy beach for dog walkers and lots of activity, joggers, dogs and the like mornings, evenings and weekends. There’s a circle K petrol station across the road with an ice cream stand and laundry: the dryer doesn’t work, don’t use it!

Lovely quiet Friday night. Nearby gasstation for some cold drinks and ice cream (stand next to it). Option for (paid) laundry at the gasstation as well (Revolution). Can watch the sunrise during a morning walk on the beach.
