Zur Zeit Abstellfläche für Strassenbauarbeiten! Nachts aber sehr ruhig. Zwei große Wohnmobil konnten längs der Straße Platz finden. Leider ziemlich viel Unrat!
Parking avec signalétique pour camping-cars. Il n'y a pas de services à cet endroit, mais de l'autre côté de la route se trouve le port et il y a des toilettes et un parc de jeux. C'est aussi le point d'arrivée de la voie verte du canal royal.
Carpark with signage for campervans. There are no services at this location however across the road is the harbour and there are toilets and a play park. This is the also the finishing point of the Royal Canal Greenway.

DavidMurray30/07/2025Too tight for 7.4m motorhomes but ideal if you're smaller. Nice quiet parking opp The Richmond Inn that serves great food and a nice pint of guinness at a very reasonable price. Waterways Ireland toilets opp

Jeffrey99915/01/2025Great little park up right on the canal, excellent location for Greenway to Dublin. Spent a few hours in the pub Richmond Inn - great atmosphere & we were made to feel very welcome by the barman Enda.
roamingKnights17/08/2024didn't stay here but, stopped to get a shower (you need a waterways card). The shower was good and hot (10 mins) but, both the showers and toilets look like they haven't been cleaned in a while.

Very quiet night, as others have stated showers and toilets provided by Waterways Ireland for smart card holders. The toilets appeared to be open to all which was reflected in the poor state they were in. Showers were just ok but better than nothing. There is a pub on the marina which sounded busy and looked ok but too tired to visit.

Designated stop, although very narrow and short bays. Free toilets and cheap showers just across the road although you do need a waterways card for the showers. Really nice walk along the canal with a pub right on the corner.

You need a card to take a shower there! We asked for some help to the pub owner in front of the canal and they offered us a room in their b&b to take a shower for 3€/pers.

We stayed near the pub on the Royal Canal at the final lock before it meets the Shannon. We wandered into a lovely traditional music session and were made feel very welcome. Nice walk southwards along banks of canal.

Lovely quiet spot, highly recommend food in Richmond inn , board menu for lunch with plenty of choices. Play park ,cycle hire shop, waterways toilets showers and laundry room across bridge. showers and laundry accessible with waterways ireland card, can be purchased in the bike hire shop.

Lovely quiet spot for overnight. no facilities but waterways toilets across the road. Great pub we didn't eat there but heard the food is good. Very friendly!

brillant place to stay. toilets showers and laundry room over at harbour. playground. lovely pub and excellent food. 1km away another town with garage and hotel. Big marine.
