It's just a free carpark with about 15 spaces. Its in a lovely wooded area. With a great walk. That leads to a golf course Allestree Hall & lake. its flat ish & quite. lots of dog walkers in the day time. But good for one night.

Beautiful forest walks to be had, and you can find a nice level spot to park. Had no issues with phone and Internet signal here either which was great. However there was strange activity from about 10pm from men in cars, that were pulling up and trying to park alongside each other. Because we were in the way and we have CCTV, they quickly realised there would be no "activity" that night and left
pretty place to park however you will get blocked in by cars if you are there past about 0630. Had the old passive agressive loud conversations right at the front of the van. Not sure how "scary" a near on 60 year-old not even 5ft tall woman is but there you go. Dude must scare easy.
Good carpark, muddy at this time of year! Very busy with cars and music until 1am! Dog walkers started at 6am. Good dog walks
Good spot. Room for 3 or so vans. Quite busy with vehicles though the day. Passing road is just a minor B route so reasonably quite. Good walking across the adjacent park land.
Great spot, but busy with dog walkers in the morning - I left earlier than intended after my van got dirty looks from a dog walker. One other camper parked too which is always nice, but I didn't want to get us a bad name in the morning by hogging space when it ran short...
Last minute car camp to be close to hospital to visit elderly mum. I pulled into the car park @ 10pm, it's very dark, shortly after quite a few cars pulled in. A single female, & no window shades to put up. I chose to park in layby at side of the road just outside the car park. I slept well. Had I been in van were I could close blinds, I would have happily slept in the carpark.
Nice enough. Enclosed by trees so not visible to passing traffic. Some small rubbish bins, but the usual rubbish all around including a mattress - classic UK. Council bloke came to empty the bin, but left the mattress there.
Perfect for the night, about 3-4 other campers quiet at night , busy during daylight hours

Nice area next to 350 acres of public parkland. We stayed on a Saturday- quiet night. Busy with dog walker’s Sunday morning. Co-op nearby.
This place was generally good, nice hard standing, level ground. Quiet with not much road noise Stayed on a Friday night. There was some young guys at 2am making a lot of noise but weren't there long. Saturday morning there were dog walkers and general park users from around 8am. Nice friendly people though with one telling us walking routes and a bit about the park.
large car park, no facilities but mostly flat and good for an overnight stop. there were a lot of vehicles in and out through the evening (sunset was at 1730ish so no comment on why...) which was a little distracting but seemed to tail off by 11ish.
Lovely place and gorgeous walks around. Does get busy with dog walkers in the morning. Knocked 1 star off as a scout group turned up in the evening and were shining torches into the van for about 30min until the scout leader told them to leave us alone. Quiet night after about 10pm when cars stopped arriving and leaving. No bother. Not bad signal.

Nice little stopover off a country lane. No restrictions. Quite flat. 3 bins. Popular with dog walkers. Quiet after 9pm. The odd car pulling in during the night but we’re quiet or pulled straight back out. Beautiful woodland walk surrounding. No trace left from me and I picked up a few bits of other litter.
Great for a night. Very busy with dog walkers during the day, as others have said, best to arrive after 6pm. Was empty at 6.30am but by 9am was full. Overnight, was nice and quiet though so would recommend. Signal is a bit sketchy
really quiet place. the occasional jet flying over, but not during the night. dog walkers from early morning.
Drive slowly very big pot holes at the entrance. Very busy during the day, best arrive after 6pm. Only a couple of late nighters came to sit but they didn't stay past midnight.
