A very quiet, charming campsite surrounded by nature, surrounded by forest. Close to Fulufjället National Park. The site is open year-round, even in winter. Fishing, canoeing, a climbing park, hiking, an elk park, dog sledding, snowmobiling, skiing, and much more are available nearby... or simply relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are two barbecue huts (slogbods) that can be shared. A toilet, shower, kitchen, and various cozy wooden terraces and seating areas are available. Dogs are welcome. Two holiday apartments are also available.

Welcome to "Gamla Skolan" in Väse, a former school with a history stretching back nearly 100 years. We are San, Madeleine, and baby Lucy. In 2025, we opened a sustainable concept store in our old school, where we work and live. With the proceeds from the camper pitch, we are purchasing materials to renovate the school's windows. In 2026, we opened a terrace at the school. Additionally, we have installed several benches for camper guests. What previous guests appreciated about our place: - Quiet location - Spacious pitches - Central location - Sustainable concept There are no toilets/showers; therefore, campers with these facilities on board are welcome. Showers are available at Värmlands Rasta for 30 kr. Payment methods: cash in € and kr. / swish / online / debit card (if we are at home). Vehicles up to 8 meters long. **Electricity** We have standard electricity; please bring your camper cable with a Schuco connector. **Train Station** You can take the train from Väse to Karlstad and Kristinehamn (15 minutes), which is a 10-minute walk away. Check the SJ website for the timetable. Bus 501 also runs to Karlstad. Bottenviken beach is 2.5 km away. Additionally, there are plenty of forest paths to walk around the school. There is also a bistro in the village, Räven's Bistro. It is possible to order homemade organic sandwiches in advance.
