Great little campsite, basic but immaculate facilities, fantastic pub and food and lovely people. What more could you want?

Spunken1402/02/2025Our 1st Tent box experience, brilliant pub food and a fantastic clear night to see the stars, think it got down to about -3, great pitch with elec, very dog friendly £24 p/n 2 adults 3x dogs (£2 for each dog) shower and toilet well looked after

We betaalden £18 voor 2 personen zonder elektriciteit in het laagseizoen. Rustige camping, gezellige kroeg. Douche was schoon en warm.

Excellent overnight stop. Level pitches, good facilities - toilets, hot showers included, washing up facilities. Quiet, even on a Friday night. Friendly and helpful staff, and we had a lovely and reasonably priced meal in the pub.

End of July, why is this place not packed? Excellent hardstanding pitch £28 (including cost of two dogs) including electric hookup! Toilets and shower spotless. CDP and grey water disposal and fresh water. In addition next to a real Olde English Pub and Restaurant. Really good menu and quality of food could not be faulted. Good EE / BT 4G. Central location for lots of attractions. We will return

Beautiful country 'Free House' pub with very reasonably priced camping. Dog friendly, electric hookup, fine selection of beers/wines and drinks with also lovely home cooked food. Knowledgeable proud staff about local history. Highly recommended for van life.
JodelFlyer14/09/2021Village pub with great character, beer and food. 6 hardstanding pitches plus another small area with 3 hook up points. Large grass field with 7 well spaced pitches without hook up. Small well maintained shower and toilet block
