Small, close to fast vehicles. No overnight sign.
Lay-by est suffisamment éloignée de la route pour ne pas être trop près de la circulation. Juste à côté d'un ruisseau avec une pelouse pour s'asseoir dehors quand le temps le permet.
Lay-by set far enough back off the road that you are not too close to passing traffic. Right next to a stream with a grass area for sitting outside when the weather allows.
Rastplatz weit genug von der Straße entfernt, damit Sie nicht zu nah am vorbeifahrenden Verkehr sind. Direkt neben einem Bach mit Rasenfläche zum Sitzen im Freien, wenn das Wetter es zulässt.

Great sized space IF people use it considerately. Van parked bang in the middle with awning and table and chairs outside.

If your are going to park here, do not be a selfish camper by taking up the whole parking space with your one vehicle! have some consideration, no?

Great place to stay, plenty of room for a few vehicles! We found a spot under a tree by the stream to sleep and it was beautiful and had lovely water sounds. Road started to get busy around 7am, so only stay there if you like early mornings! You will definitely need insect repellent though. Lovely place, not much litter either.

Pas beaucoup de place et trop proche de la route, malgré le peu de passage la nuit, le van tremblait un peu vu la vitesse. Sinon le coin est sympa y a un lac un peu plus loin pour se baigner et profiter de la plage

Il y a de la place pour deux campings cars mais c'est un spot très bruyant. La route est très proche et les voitures y roulent vite.

Really good place to sleep. Close to visitor center where there are toilets. It is little closer to the road but it’s quiet in the night with the noise of the river.

Great little spot.. only bad point for me - quite close to the road. Good walks and fresh air. Loch (lake) close by. And little stream right next to the pitch. And Room for three vans if people park considerately.

Le grand plus de cette endroit est clairement le petit cours d’eau. Pour les non frileux, petit bain frais en perspective :) Charmante forêt de mousse à perte de vue. Attention toutefois à la fraîcheur de l’endroit. Bonne couette ou chauffage recommandé car nuit assez fraîche. Quelques voitures qui passent (~2/3 toute les 5/10min).

There’s about 3 spots here if people park considerately. I had just about passable 4G signal on Vodafone (I need it for work) but the road was quite busy up to about 11pm and then from about 6am onwards and the cars really speed along. Also some people parking there are parking all over the grass which has churned that up. Unnecessary as there’s plenty of hard standing. It’s ok as a sleep over.
RachelHappyWalking21/09/2022It's a lay by in the woods. The road is fairly busy, but not too bad. No signs saying you can't park. My Internet was intermittently on 4G. Parked here with one other van off peak. Room for 3 vans maybe. Good access for walking up Craiggowrie. No rubbish anywhere which was nice. No bins or facilities.

3* = Satisfactory. Small area by the side of the road. Would’ve been better driving up to the lake as there seems to be loads of spots (motorhomes) there.

I stayed here last night. Very quiet from 8pm to 8am. No rubbish bin. Good 4G signal on Vodafone and Three. LNT

Lay bye’s on side of road, no signs preventing overnight - multiple locations, some obstructed by low hanging trees (watch your height). Great place to stop as local car parks at Loch Morlich are no overnight (when we were here this was being ignored by many people). Just move into the car park in the morning when you get up.
