Great stop over, lovely staff, good beer and a quiet night!

Free parking on the Gower for the price of a toilet roll! Fantastic. Pub is nice, with some real ales and good food too. Pub is also dog friendly. Take the walk via the ancient church of St Teilo down into the Bishopston Valley and on to Pwll Du Bay - you will not be disappointed. Pub WiFi reaches the carpark too.

Great spot! Turned up too late for food but had a couple of beers and was made very welcome by the locals and staff. We stayed overnight for free. Would absolutely recommend!

Absolut wunderbare fantastische Spare Ribbs! Wir wurden so herzlich empfangen, dass es eine Freude war. Für eine Toilettenpapierrolle (kein Witz, wunderbarer britischer Humor!) konnten wir über Nacht mit unserem Wohnmobil auf dem Parkplatz stehen. Von solchen Orten braucht die Welt mehr!

Großer Parkplatz, wo man ruhig übernachten kann. Soll wohl auch ohne Verzehr möglich sein, aber das machen wir nicht. Also Fish'n Chips ein paar Bier und dann in die Heia. Aufgrund der Sperrstunde ist die Nacht ruhig geblieben. Lage/Landschaft ist jetzt nich so ganz toll, darum ein Stern abzug.

unfortunately we had a very poor night here. we arrived about 3pm, introduced ourselves and booked a table for 7pm. all seemed a bit haphazard. We ordered and paid up front. We sat from 7pm to 8.10pm & meal never arrived. we were told that they'd lost our order. When dinner arrived it was poor and i fed mine to the resident dog. unfortunately as we paid up front, there was little to negotiate.

Nice people, friendly pub & the car park is relatively flat. I treated myself to Sunday Roast. Really good to see different portion sizes offered. I only marked this down as they weren’t that clued up about gluten free options. This is on the Britstops membership so please join to support if you use public stops regularly.

Fantastic. Pulled up and asked if we could stay in the carpark if we ate and drank there. Absolutely no problem. New management been here for eight weeks and have turned the place around. Supper friendly and willing to point out the places of interest in the region. A genuine family run business making a real go of it. Will definately stay again if in the area again.

Lovely and caring staff, phoned up asking if we could have dinner and stay the night, they said off course and the pub is dog friendly, recommend staying if driving past, would definitely come back again

We called up to see if we could park overnight and they were very friendly and relaxed about it. Large car park. Went in for a drink and used the bathroom but seems you’d be okay parking here without using the pub. We stayed on a Friday night and it was very quiet!

A great place to stay. A large carpark behind the bar that serves delicious food and beverages. We even had several vegan options to chose from. We spent a fun night there and then walked to the beach along a beautiful wooded path. Definitely recommend staying here.

They are happy to have you stay and buy a drink. I would not recommend eating there though. It seems they are having challenging times.

Stayed here on a Saturday during Easter weekend. Kind staff who even though was fully booked still allowed us to use the park and toilets. Good spot to stay when passing through.

Allowed us to stay overnight even though they were closing early & the kitchen was closed. Ordered pizza from little place in Southgate which was amazing! A bit noisy with cars coming & going in the car park, but stopped eventually. No views. Great coastal walks nearby, 5 minute drive away.

great place.. absolutely a gem..not on coast but only 20 mins drive from the mumbles.. large car park flat. water available.. toilet inside pub ..100% welcoming.cheap and cheerful food and good prices..Amy is the patrion. and so helpful.. you don't have to eat to stop but drinks are a must...please don't leave rubbish take it with you when you go. to insure this spot stays available

Lovely place to stay nearly level car park very friendly asked if we needed hook up food was lovely good beer too locals very friendly and helpful highly recommended faultless really will definitely eat and stay again 10 out of 10

Under new management, very friendly and good pub food. Free to stay overnight as long as you have a meal. Great walk to the coast. We'll be back.

Stayed overnight. Ticks all the boxes for an overnight stop as previously described. Quiet enough at the back of the carpark away from the main road.

Also really great bakery just around the corner on the main road - hot pasties worth stopping for.

Stayed for the night in the car park, if you ask in the pub and stay for food and drinks they don’t mind. Even charged a battery pack for me. Pub closes early dependant on trade. Quite noises as just off a main road and over looked by residential houses. If you tuck in the corner and take your rubbish away with you it’s a good little over nighter after a day exploring.
