If you have a camper van, do NOT drive up to this spot from the south side, on the road that goes up from Ponte di Legno. This is a steep, narrow road with only one lane in many places and without fence. It was absolutely terrifying to go up here and we had to rewind to meet other vehicles. If you want to go up here, take the road from the north side. It is still steep and narrow, but better.
Spectacular view, no signal. Wifi in the nearby restaurant.
TOP place for stay one night or great place like a starting point to hiking in area. Incredible view. Picnic table is there. Two restaurants in few meters. Be careful if you going to Paso Gavia with long motorhome go early morning or evening. Road is 2,2m wide.
Parking lot with spectacular views. Nice hikes just off the parking lot. The Refugio offers delicious food and a restroom during business hours. We loved our night here although a little chilly.
Habe hier in Frieden übernachtet.
