Lovely quiet place. Arrived 1pm and found a lot of walkers and a few fishermen, after about 4pm I was on my own. At about 7am a few walkers came and went, everyone was very friendly. Good walking area
Lovely car park within a nature trail, a lake on one side and a trek into leek the other, there is a little steam railway with a cafe and toilets which open from 11 so very peaceful beforehand only a lot of dog walkers

Excellent spot. 3 cars when I turned up at 2130, they left within half an hour and then 2 vanners turned up during the night, very pleasant spot right next to a light railway. Good nature trail ! Enjoyed this one :)
Lovely spot. Large, with no barriers and after 9.30pm all other parked cars are gone too.
A delightful parking area. Free with no restrictions. We stayed here a couple of nights ago, very quiet. Great access for walks and cycling and close to the Roaches too!
Lovely quiet spot. Do not go near the station if it is closed or you may set off the alarms. I arrived after dark and left early so did not get to sample the trains or the cafe.
A lovely quiet spot off the main road
Public picnic area with parking. There is one (1) picnic table but opposite is a volunteer-run small gauge steam railway with a kiosk (not cafe) and outside tables. There are no restrictions and a rare absence of boy-racers, pot-heads and doggers. The area is delightful and when I am able to return I will explore (and comment on) the left bank.
