I’m impressed that this type of facility has been provided by the local council. The position is stunning, right on the banks of the inlet, with a good variety of bird life. Fresh water and sewage dump is provided. The charge is 10€ for 24 hours, but I noticed that several vans weren’t displaying their tickets, so may not have paid. The area is very exposed, so an overnight storm rocked us!

Ottima, in riva al mare con tante tipologie di uccelli marini. Molto tranquilla. Bella passeggiata per raggiungere il paesino pieno di bar e pub.

Easy stay in a terrific location. Dungarvan is a lovely village. We listened to some fantastic live music in Downey's pub. Breakfast on the seafront; that's what campervanning has that a hotel doesn't. Grey and fresh water is free, but overnight is €10. Safe.

Great location and services, but unfortunately the area is currently overcrowded with campers. There’s rubbish, kids’ toys, and clothes scattered everywhere, making the place look untidy and unwelcoming. Campers really need to move on and/or be charged accordingly. We moved on to a quieter place.

Sadly the site is currently overrun by a family of travellers flouting the rules,… we left and stayed 10 minutes away at the marine bar inn. Otherwise it would have been a great spot

A great facility for motor homes, all waste emptied and fresh water, about 12 vans in and quiet.

Great site for services and a stroll into the lovely town of Dungarven. On Motorhome Notice there is no mention of payment. We took our rubbish to suggested location on MH notice, it's only 6ks away and has all recycling amenities.

Good spot, easy walking into town, but caravans need moved on to leave much needed space for Campervans that the Aire is designed for.

Ein guter Platz am Meer mit kurzem Fußweg ins Städtchen, gute Atmosphäre und viele Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Außerdem recht grün und reichlich Angebote für sportliche Aktivitäten. Der Preis lässt sich kaum toppen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Spent a night here along with many other vans. A great idea to have this facility. €10 for 24 hrs including grey and black waste and water. Also the council provides free WiFi which was very useful. Clearly there are a couple of vcans here that never move so not sure how well the parking charges are enforced. A quiet night and only a short walk from the town.

great town parkup (caravan still there, occasional quiet generator but no issues). cycled Greenway to Waterford and back, 4 cafes, great track and views. Live music (starts 9pm) on Thursday in The Local, great pub food and atmosphere but get there by 7:30 latest to eat. Tourist Office helpful. would return.

Great spot by the town. No bins but there are some at the next parking spot just up the road. Lovely walk along the sea into the town. We stayed a Saturday night in early May. Arrived at 8pm we were lucky to find a spot to park.

Good level dedicated motorhome area provided by the local council with sea views. €10 for 24 hrs, max 48 hrs, pay at machine. Free dump/fresh area. Quiet at night. Few minutes walk to town which has lots of food outlets, bars, shops and Greenway cycle trail. Pretty location. 5 other motorhomes on our stay.

Absolutely top tier spot for campervans 11/10

It is nice and very quiet place, close to town, you can ride bikes for hours on the greenway, cost €10 per night including service, I only give 4 stars because there is no rubbish bin, apart from that I recommend this place

Nice sea view with busy bird life. It’s a busy place even in February. Easy walk into a charming town with plenty of pubs and eating places as well as a supermarket. Plenty of history to explore, unfortunately the castle is only open May to October. Facilities are good and functional. Easy to pay online, just be aware using the QR code you then need to search for the correct Carpark.

Beautiful spot - right on the sea wall. 10 minute walk into town with plenty of places to eat. (360 Cookhouse excellent). Water tap and toilet disposal.

Great view of the estuary and consequently a little windy. A few motorhomes there when we stopped, but full by mid evening. Water supply works. Unfortunately spoiled by Incumbent caravan's late night visit from Garda due to fighting, and kids trying to beg cigarettes. A great facility by the council, especially having water and waste disposal a little thin on the ground in Ireland otherwise.

Long term caravans taking up spaces, With petrol generators going. Rubbish everywhere. And just run down. It's a shame as I used to use it alot, but now it just feels unsafe. Plus not all people pay, so I guess it's a matter of time before they put up barriers again.

Ent/Versorgung gut. Wir wollten eine Nacht bleiben. Uns hat aber die Siruation abgeschreckt: 3 WoMos haben alle Plätze belegt. 2 wurden mit einem Motorboot und einem PKW blockiert. Um andere abzuhalten hier zu bleiben. Die Leute haben sich ordinär verhalten. Rumgebrülle u. aggressives Verhalten. Schade, Denn eigentlich ein schöner Stellplatz, den die Stadt Dungarvan da zur Verfügung stellt.

Great services at this Aire but due to indiscriminate parking of long term caravans with bags of rubbish and trailing electric leads across campervan parking bays, we were unable to stay . It's a shame it's being abused as we have availed of this Aire many times before and would have given these facilities 5 stars .

It all just seems to be a little run down now. There looks like there are two full time caravans there now. The council should move them out as they aren't campervans.

Great spot and busy but felt uneasy,with two or three long stays being loud and so moved away. Thank you for giving us the opportunity but shame it’s being abused by a few.

Rude English people blocking the path for pedestrians and others parking in the green. No wonder if sooner or later authorities will put signs „no overnight parking“

Super Stelle für VE. Es war gerade Pferdemarkt und wir mussten eine Stunde warten bis wir an den Service kamen.

Man wird Grauwasser los und kann Frischwasser tanken. Ansonsten ist der Platz nicht besonders attraktiv. Wir sind dann lieber weiter gefahren.

The aire spaces were all full when we arrived late afternoon so we parked opposite the sports centre nearby, along with many other vans. We were still able to dispose of black & grey waste & fill with water but there was no charge. Probably 20+ vans there this weekend. Great pubs in town - ‘The Local’ food & drink were excellent.

Wir haben hier Anfang März eine Nacht im Wohnmobil gestanden; wunderschöner Blick aufs Wasser und der Ortskern ist fußläufig erreichbar - unbedingt den besten Pub „The Local“ besuchen! durch das Jugendzentrum/Sporthalle(?) war bei uns auch abends noch was los (Sonntag), dadurch das einzig negative: wir&unser Nachbar wurden nachts mit Eiern beschmissen - Jugendstreich. Abgewaschen&weiter ging’s

Wonderful facility with lovely view of the harbour. 9 spaces. We arrived late afternoon and only 1 other van at that time. Another 2 or 3 arrived later. Very quiet and restful night. Highly recommend.

A gem of a spot. Very quiet and a beautiful view over the bay. No facilities other than chemical waste but for €10 what more can you ask for a great park up. short walk to town will bring you to the local pubs, restaurants etc. would recommend for an overnighter

A good place to stop, there should be more places like this. Only a couple of criticisms, no bins but everywhere seems to be taking them away and black waste hatch door rotting and you have to hold it up with your foot as you juggle the cassette. Thank you for the space though!

Great place, but only about one dozen pitch. In front of the youth centre was at least 10 motorhomes parking and also using the service. Across the water on the pier there are 3 official van places. Also, there where an additional 5 - 6 Campers on the parking lot for cars. It’s also possible to dump the toilets. Great town for campers.

Parking agréable. Très belle vue sur la mer. 10 min à pied par la côte pour rejoindre la ville. Services gratuits. Stationnement limité à 48h. Seul bémol, l'éclairage public est fort et reste allumé toute la nuit.

Agree with other comments, excellent location we’d be happy to come back to and we didn’t get any traffic or other disturbances even though it was a Sat night. There’s also fairly decent free WiFi.

Great but busy place to stay in the centre of town. My only criticism is the lack of any type of bin within a 5 minute walk. Arrive early to get a space! WC and gray water disposal and fresh water available. €10 to park for 24hrs. payment by card.

Schöner Stellplatz mit Entsorgungsmöglichkeiten, allerdings kein Mülleimer vor Ort, aber in unmittelbarer Nähe wenn man sowieso das kleine Städtchen oder dem Farmers Markt besuchen möchte :) Stellplatz ist nachts ruhig, für uns waren die 10€/24h völlig in Ordnung. Entsorgung auch ohne Übernachtung möglich.

Just arrived €10 for 24hrs ok facilities needs upgrading to be fair lovely sea views with free parking just 300meters away opposite side. Nothing major no bins either but many places in Ireland they need investment and the council's visionary action to improve the potential for all. could be better.

We found the very last spot open. Cars drive really fast, especially golfers around the corner. Saturday late night music coming from cars in the neighbouring parking lot. Very disappointed that grey water drain runs directly into the sea. The view, though, is fantastic. Kids loved the big stretch of grass for rugby and the cute town and supermarkets are a walkable distance.

Bel emplacement bien délimité et calme une fois que les promenades des chiens soient terminées (plus de circulation) Attention : pas de poubelle à disposition. Il faut aller vers l'église face à mer pour trouver des poubelles. Vidange eaux noires et grise ainsi que le remplissage en eau compris dans le prix du stationnement de 10€

We stayed here for one night in our roof tent it was a nice spot to wake up. The only issue we had was there were cars driving down past us all night and turning around and driving back up. there's water and somewhere to dump waste from campers. 5 or 6 minute walk to dungarvan town centre. will stay here again.

Great spot to stop and handy for emptying waste/ filling up with fresh water. Highly recommend the Local pub on High St for great live Irish music

Great overnight spot with facilities, cracking view and easy walk into town

Well worth €10. Lovely view over the water, convenient dog walking path through adjacent car park, all services clean and operational, easy walk into town. We recommend the Gourmet Cafe in the square - the only one which allows dogs in.

We were there for the day 10 quid to stay lovely place friendly locals you can empty black waste as well it was a little dirty from grey waste on the floor hopefully they will clean it soon otherwise fab place and views

Stayed here Sunday 2nd and Monday 3rd of October. You pay at a ticket machine (10 euro per night and pay by coins or contactless) Great park-up with fresh water, grey and black disposal. Lovely views, great walk into Dungarvan town. 6 or 7 other vans here same time. Thanks to the local community for this stop over.

Fab “dump station” as the Kiwi’s would call it. Blue, grey, black water all sorted. (No rubbish bins). We treated like a Dump Station, we did not stay, all no hassle.

Great Place, 10 camper bays on one side for €10pn and FREE parking on the other side, right along the wall at the water. Drinking water, waste water facilities. No toilet or showers. Short stroll to a lively town. Right beside Pitch and Put and a picturesque walkway.

Great spot and facility. Some taking advantage and staying many nights, using generators at night, free draining waste etc. Needs better enforcement of rules.

Very quiet stopover overlooking the town. Town centre 10 mins walk with lots of cafes/pubs. Large campervan parking bays, well lit and with black/grey and fresh water facilities. €10 for 24 hours. Note fresh water tap has now been replaced with correct threaded nozzle.

A grand safe spot. A few minutes from town centre. No hook up to electricity which is a pity. The water tap issue is corrected now with a new connection fitted. There was a generator in the distance which only stopped at 2am. Only sound after that was from the lovely sea birds on the water. Council were there cleaning the road when we arrived and again in the morning.

Almost brilliant but for the daft tap: it just needs someone to replace the push tap with a normal turn tap. Someone has done the most amazing bodge job with ziplocks to get a proper hose connector on the tap but a proper tap would be a better solution. The aire also needs a bin. Trudging up to the town centre to empty is a pain. But apart from that it’s a great place

Co. we need more councils who cater for motorhomes, nice town did lots of shopping all the big supermarkets are here also lovely greenway for all ages and bikes for hire nice for a spot of fishing, beach at Strandside is basic. Only negative water tap has wrong connection should be threaded version and no bins here but for tenner a night ok. Leccy Bourne better
