Perfectly decent little park up, quiet lane l, no facilities, dog walk nearby - I was on way of CAMH site further up but was a little early so pulled over. Room for a 7m van & 2 or 3 others.
Gorgeous spot, very quiet right next to a river which was therapeutic. Not that many spaces available but we went at a quieter time of year, I imagine in the summer it’s probably busier and you may struggle. Had a lovely walk in the morning with our dog.
I spent a peaceful night here in my van. It is a narrow road with passing places but there’s a spot where walkers park where it’s a little wider. I imagine over the summer when it’s busy it might be more difficult. I walked to the Strickland Arms pub for dinner and a pint which was lovely.
At the end of a road which becomes private 50m further on. This is the access road to the Caravan and Motorhome site at Kendal, so it can be busy. The lay-by is narrow and only suitable for cars. It is popular with fishermen and often full during the daytime. Better alternatives nearby.
