Peaceful spot, set back from the coast in an elevated position, a small heath to walk round where you will find viewing spots of the coast and surrounding countryside. A great Spot if you have dogs as you can walk straight out from the carpark onto the heath. Blakeney just over a miles walk through fields, Pub down the road in Wiveton, we stayed on a Saturday night and we're 1 of 3 campers.

Amazing spot. Bumpy on entering from the road, but fairly level, extremely quiet, no restrictions on wild camping. No facilities - only a dog poo bin - but if you are off grid it’s brilliant. Lovely walks around the nature reserve, and great views to the sea.

Super spot for watching the stars

  • 5/5

Great stop very beautiful and peaceful please ensure you look after it

  • 5/5

Super stopover, very clean and quiet. Totally undisturbed. Lovely views and decent walking. Thank you for listing it.

This is a lovely spot. sadly a local didn’t take kindly to our van, and one other, being there. she was very keen to enforce yet another “no overnight” zone, which seem to be everywhere in Norfolk. As always we left no trace, even clearing up some of the dog pooh, of which there was lots. Much of Norfolk now enforces no stays, when these beautiful places could be appreciated & respected.

  • 5/5

Great quiet place for a stopover , nice little walk off the car park with a couple of benches to stop and take in the views. Lots of stars at night great for stargazing.

  • 4/5

lovely place to stay, narrow, bumpy entrance with a big, flat car park. Nice area to walk. no amenities. I will stay here again.

  • 5/5

Can I just say thanks to everyone respecting and enjoying this place, I added it just over a year ago now and it's so nice to read that people had a good stay there! Let's keep it like that!

  • 5/5

Lovely site. 4g reception okay. Entrance over cattle grid then a bit bumpy with low hanging branches for a short while. Our 2.7m height van got in and out with just some scapping over the solar panels okay. Would definitely use again. No night pollution, milky way visible easily on clear nights. Some dog walkers, evenings and mornings.

  • 5/5

An excellent little place to stop for a night and a pleasant change from the anti-motorhome vibe at spots on the coast. Elevated gravel carpark with lovely views and walks along the ridge. Quite a narrow entrance but soon widens. 2 other vans there when we stayed on a Sat night.

  • 5/5

Very nice and quiet place, there were 2 oter campervans

  • 5/5

nice quiet spot, a few other campers

  • 5/5

lovely spot, very peaceful. came late on a Friday night and only two other vans here, plenty of space. you are next to a pig farm however you are up on a hill next to it and we had no issues with smell, some local walkers in the morning but fine to stay overnight

  • 5/5

Lovely stop, very peaceful, very quiet… loved it

  • 4/5

We stayed here 04/06/22 just for the night arrived at 3pm. There was only one other van that stayed overnight. A few people parked up to walk their dogs, with no issues. Overall a good quite night, would recomend.

Lovely park up! Arrived and there was 4 other vans here - but is bank holiday weekend so understandable- all lovely people though :) lovely walks, great sunset and perfect for star spotting! Added to favourites! Will be back :)

  • 5/5

Great spot, with three other campers. Soooooo quiet, clear skies so def going star spotting later.

  • 5/5

Great place to park for the night. a really good popular lay up. Will happily stay there again.

  • 5/5

lovely location, 2 other vans there, couple of walkers in the morning. access road is awful but car park is fine.

  • 5/5

Bang on. Stayed 2 nights with no problems. Friendly locals. Farm shop with fresh local produce near by. Potholed access but steady enough if driven slow. Brilliant for stargazing.

  • 5/5

stayed overnight, several other vans and motorhomes already there but plenty of room. access is quite potholed, but ok if you take ot steady. Nice and flat and lovely place to explore.

  • 5/5

Great place. Level spots, good 4G and perfect for a small morning walk.

  • 4/5

Nice and quiet place, good for the night. Note that it’s next to a pig farm but wind comes from the coast when we stayed, we didn’t smell anything

  • 5/5

Stayed here one night and there was no one else. Quiet, full reception on GiffGaff, and nice little paths where we saw some deer. Easily got in with minibus that is 6.2 meters long and 2.2 wide. Would definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

Great place to park day and night. Short potholed access road, no problem for our 6m motorhome. So peaceful, and unspoilt, great place for walking and road cycling. Lots of footpaths nearby, quiet lanes and picturesque villages. We did a circular walk over to the salt marshes, plus fabulous ride. It's a good one Leave no trace.

  • 5/5

What a great park up. Nothing but quiet overnight. Beautiful starry sky. Great walks for the dog. We stayed here for two nights with no trouble, one other van was there. A few dog walkers in the morning and afternoon.

  • 5/5

Perfect stop over, arrived 8pm last night. 3 other vans. The sky was darkest we have seen!! No noise.. the car park is gravel with a few large pot holes, be fine if you take it slow.

  • 4/5

Beautiful, peaceful and wow what a sky at night. Worth a night of grid.

  • 4/5

stayed here this weekend (Dec 2021) can't add any more than what others have said. Lovely spot

  • 5/5

Quiet with nice views and cute pig farm to look at from one vantage point. A few dog walkers in the evening / morning and some joggers. Very slight slope and a tight entrance but no height restrictions. Amazing Dark Sky location - with a shooting star to round the night off.

  • 5/5

Excellent stop - we are 2.25m wide and 6.5m long and just managed to get through the entrance - would not recommend for larger vehicles. Roads leading to the site are narrow but we found plenty of passing places. Would definitely use this stop again if in the location.

  • 5/5

We stayed here on Saturday 21st August 2021, highly recommend, no issues what so ever. We were a campervan. There were three other guests that night. Would return when in the area next time.

  • 5/5

My first night out, great place, was the only person there. Few dog walkers in the evening and in the morning very friendly.

  • 5/5

Quiet and secluded. Clean. Couple of other campers. Good views, clear skies. Do not follow the postcode as it will take to up an off road track to a private estate, use coordinates instead. For more adventurous campers in 4x4s, there’s a nice river crossing (ford) about a mile away near the Shell Museum ;-)

  • 5/5

Great spot, amazing nights sky. Stayed with 2 other campers. Would 100% come back. Really quiet and secluded! Pub a mile walk down the lane, lovely on a sunny evening. We even managed to see two roe deer on the road on the walk back from the pub.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, stopped for one night with three other vans, incredibly peaceful.

  • 5/5

An amenity free site (I’m not counting the dog waste bin) dark and quiet at night and on the head of a sweet little trail. If you arrive at night don’t be freaked out by the strange squeals there is a large pig farm behind the park up.

  • 2/5

I arrived at it had a sign up saying private. Maybe I misread it but just wanted to give a heads up.

  • 5/5

Great spot. Two other vans parked up when we arrived. A few dog walkers early on but very quiet and peaceful at night. No light pollution for miles around so awesome night-sky views. Narrow, overgrown entrance might be a bit tight for wide motor homes but our camper squeezed in okay.
