Bon compromis pour une visite d'Edinburgh et une nuitée.

Se trata de una zona donde hay calles tranquilas y alguna plaza libre. No es un párquing grande, son áreas de aparcamiento limitado. Solo se paga de lunes a viernes, sábados y domingos gratis. Difícil estacionamiento.

We spent an excellent 3 nights here in the city centre with no issues was also lucky to have the fringe on when we were there. Free on weekends - there is also the pool around the corner that has shower facilities for 2 pounds.

We had our e bike stolen from the back of our campervan whilst we were in it at midnight by two men in balaclavas so beware…… police came very quickly and said such thefts are common
perfect spot for the fringe on the weekend
Wir haben von Freitag Abend bis Sonntag morgen dort gestanden. Bezahlen mussten wir nur am Freitag für 90 min mit RingGo App, am Wochenende ist Parken kostenfrei. Nicht ganz ruhig nachts, aber top Lage und man ist innerhalb 15 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum.
Found ourselves in Edinburgh unplanned and during the Fringe when all campsites were booked. Convenient to walk into the centre, and we found a space for our small camper. We moved to a side road off the terrace at night when there was space as we didn't feel entirely comfortable with sleeping there and felt less conspicuous. Survived the night without trouble. Toilets only open 10-6, though.
nous avons trouvé de la place assez facilement vers 16h00. en payant le parking nous nous sommes rendus compte que nous avions payé 6 GBP pour 1h30 donc très cher. cela coûtait plus de 23€ pour 6h le Lendemain donc nous sommes partis. en partant une voiture était garée devant nous (pas sur une place) et nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à sortir.
Alle anderen Parkplätze waren voll, hier haben wir ohne Probleme einen gefunden. Allerdings kostet das Parken auch £4.20. bei der Parkuhr kann man nur mit münzen oder einer online App bezahlen.

Bon parking pour la journée, localisation bien pratique vu qu'il suffit de traverser le parc des Meadows pour visiter le centre-ville. Également un peu moins cher qu'à d'autres endroits autour, par contre, nous n'étions pas confortable de rester dormir si près des habitations. Par rapport aux toilettes du parc, elles sont ouvertes seulement dans la journée donc pas utilisables la nuit.
wir waren über Nacht da, Straßenlärm aber mit einem Hund perfekt direkt am großen Park und nicht weit bis zur Innenstadt. nettes Extra: wir haben direkt vorm Victor Hugos Café geparkt, da gibt es kostenloses Public WLAN vom Café :)
Zum Parken und die Stadt besichtigen einwandfrei. Parkgebühren wurden 04/24 angehoben für 3Std parken zahlt man jetzt tagsüber 12,30£ mit der RingGo App. Die Automaten sind öfters defekt.
A fairly narrow street with free weekend parking. Stayed in my coachbuilt and was lucky to find a space big enough but not ideal. Great access to the city centre amenities, 10 minute walk. Lovely park across the road. The main road stays busy most of the night so if you're a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend. I'd stay again if required but I'd look for somewhere else first
Vans könnten Platz haben, aber auch für die würde ich das hier nicht empfehlen.

Goed spot, quilt at dat and night
It looks like you can park almost everywhere in town during the night. But from 8.30am you have to pay (at least £2.90/h and maximum 6h on that spot). We found another spot on Bleinheim Place, very close to the park and city. A little bit noisy but it is in the city so…
On the street, but not bad considering how close to city. Some noise from nearby road, but blends into background.
Great spot for Castle and old town just walk across the park free after 5.30 , left at 10.30 for somewhere else to sleep
Fab spot! Free at night and at weekends. Looks onto the park which was so relaxing in the morning.
Le point ne doit pas être au bon endroit car j'ai tourner pendant un bon moment et je n'ai pas vu l'ombre d'un parking ici
Awesome spot! Close to public loos. Arrived Saturday morning and stayed till Monday morning no problems and completely free at the weekend! Super close to everything too!
Perfect for walking into the city centre.. Arrived on Sunday at 5pm (free), paid for 6 hours parking from 8.30am on Monday - £17.50.
Cheep enough , good area but someone tried to nick my bikes in the middle of the night .moved up to at Leonard's car park £20 for the day and night .felt very safe .spot on
On street parking if there’s space. £2.90 an hour mon-fri 9-5.30 max stay 6 hrs. Free and unlimited rest of time. Lovely location and nice walk (25 mins) to centre. Stayed on a Friday & Saturday night so loads of noise until quite late. Cars like to race down street blaring music. Also next to a busy main road. Usual city noises. Not the most peaceful nights sleep we’ve had!

Quiet apart from the distant sirens to be expected on Friday night, no tight manouvring for the van whatsoever and plenty of free spaces. Close to some cafés and a park, walking distance to town, no further facilities though

Es ist nahezu unmöglich, einen Parkplatz für den Camper zu finden. Die Straße ist eng und sehr befahren. Die Nähe zur Stadt bringt viel Unruhe und Lärm mit sich. Mit PKW zu parken ginge sicherlich. Wir sind mit dem Camper weitergefahren.
Super le dimanche. Pas de problème de stationnement, nous n'y avons pas passé la nuit, parfait pour visiter Edimbourg

Pas facile de trouver une place, pratiquement tout est réservé au stationnement résidentiel, les rares emplacements sont pris d'assaut. il y a quand même du trafic.
Parfait pour visiter la ville, gratuit samedi et dimanche. // Ottimo per visitare la città. Gratis il Sabato e Domenica.
Très bien pour passer un après-midi et une nuit au calme, tout en étant proche du centre ville.
