Nous avons séjourné ici au camping et avons mangé au pub en tant qu'amis avec des camping-cars. Il dispose d'une vingtaine de places pour les fourgons et d'une aire de camping. Il est idéalement situé pour les randonneurs dans les vallons avec un joli camping calme derrière le magnifique vieux pub. Le service était excellent - appeler pour organiser cela était facile, réserver des places pour 5 camping-cars et un repas du soir pour 12 personnes. Nous sommes arrivés le jour même et le service était excellent - nous trouver des endroits où séjourner qui nous convenaient en tant que groupe et s'assurer que tout était comme nous le voulions. Il y avait une position difficile pour les fourgonnettes et une belle herbe entre - vous aurez besoin de rampes car elles sont pour la plupart sur une petite pente. Les installations sont basiques mais bien entretenues avec des douches et des toilettes ainsi que des installations de lavage. Le pub est un "ancien" type géré par une charmante famille qui crée une atmosphère familiale avec des sièges à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. La nourriture est typique des pubs mais la qualité est excellente et le service excellent également. Les coûts étaient également d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix, à 20 £ / nuit sur le camping (électricité incluse) et 15 à 20 £ par personne pour un repas de 2 plats, boissons comprises (bière / vin). Nous avons eu une expérience merveilleuse ici - le recommande pleinement !!
We stayed here on the campsite and ate in the pub as a set of friends with campervans. It has about 20 places for vans and a camping area. It is in the perfect location for trekkers to the dales with a lovely quiet campsite behind the beautiful old pub.
The service was excellent - ringing up to arrange it was easy, reserving places for 5 campervans and and evening meal for 12 people. We turned up on the day and the service was excellent - finding us places to stay that suited us as a group and ensuring everything was as we wanted. There was hard standing for the vans and lovely grass between - you will need to have ramps as they are mostly on a small slope.
The facilities are basic but well maintained with showers and toilets plus washing facilities. The pub is an ‘old’ type run by a lovely family going a family atmosphere with seating inside and out. The food is typical pub food but the quality is excellent and the service great also.
The costs were excellent value also, £20/ night on the campsite (incl. electrics) and £15-20 per person for 2 course meal including drinks (beer/wine). We had a wonderful experience here - fully recommend it!!
Wir waren hier auf dem Campingplatz und haben als Freunde mit Wohnmobilen in der Kneipe gegessen. Es hat etwa 20 Plätze für Vans und einen Campingplatz. Es hat die perfekte Lage für Wanderer in die Täler mit einem schönen ruhigen Campingplatz hinter dem schönen alten Pub. Der Service war ausgezeichnet - das Anrufen war einfach, die Reservierung von Plätzen für 5 Wohnmobile und das Abendessen für 12 Personen. Wir sind an dem Tag aufgetaucht und der Service war ausgezeichnet - wir fanden Unterkünfte, die zu uns als Gruppe passten, und stellten sicher, dass alles so war, wie wir es wollten. Es gab hartes Stehen für die Vans und schönes Gras dazwischen - Sie müssen Rampen haben, da sie sich meistens an einem kleinen Hang befinden. Die Einrichtungen sind einfach, aber gut gepflegt, mit Duschen und Toiletten sowie Waschgelegenheiten. Der Pub ist ein "alter" Typ, der von einer lieben Familie geführt wird und eine familiäre Atmosphäre mit Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und draußen hat. Das Essen ist typisches Pub-Essen, aber die Qualität ist ausgezeichnet und der Service auch großartig. Die Kosten waren auch ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, £ 20 / Nacht auf dem Campingplatz (inkl. Elektrik) und £ 15-20 pro Person für ein 2-Gänge-Menü inklusive Getränke (Bier / Wein). Wir hatten eine wundervolle Erfahrung hier - kann es nur empfehlen! !

Perfect spot for endless walks in the countryside and along the Tissington Way. Dog friendly, and a wonderful welcome from the owners and locals. Food was really good, definitely recommend, and we'll be back for the beer festival in June. Price for an overnight stay with electricity is now £30 but worth it for the location and welcome.
