Great spot. Stayed two nights as I was the only one there. There is a bin but still a bit of rubbish around. Very quiet. Some cars were parking up and leaving but no bother. Will definitely return.

LeeTan2428/07/2025Nice small spot with steps down to the river which you could launch a SUP. Some cars in and out but only enough space for 2 or 3. Walks up along Wye to Bibbins bridge or cycle to Symmonds Yat. Slept well at night with little traffic. We would return.

Fantastic stop over, great 4g signal and a bin. It's just off a dead end road, so no passing traffic overnight. You can hear the A40 over the other side of the river Wye, but it didn't keep us awake. A shame that we then couldn't find any paid parking in Monmouth that we could get in to, so we moved on to Abergavenny.

like the one up the road this one gets busy, slightly calmer than the other one though. plus lots of locals so don't want to take up their space
SummerF02/07/2024Nice and level park up. I had good connection on EE. Very quiet road, there is some road noise from the A40 but it wasn’t an issue. I stayed on a Monday night and there were 2 other vans overnight.

Good flat stop but really muddy, better to stop here rather than further along as leave that for the locals to walk dogs (& got peaceful night sleep as only 1 other van here) Nice walk/run from the other car park with dogs

lovely, was the only one there, stayed until midday and nobody bothered me. there is a bin but I suggest you leave that for the locals and empty your rubbish at home or at a motorway services. Good 02 signal. Can hear roads but it wasn't enough to keep me awake, lovely sound of birds chatting away was louder. would stay again!

reasonably flat, tarmac but little squelchy from the autumn leaves. side of the road, but the road is a dead end. There are roads nearby that you can hear through the night but they are in the distance, didn't bother us as all.

Stayed as an alternative to the car park at the end of the road (due to it being full in the early evening). Totally quiet all night and into the morning other than a few dogs walkers, cyclists and some rowers in the river and a handy bin to use for rubbish!

Was going to stay in the spot just up the road but decided I'd be more out of the way here as people park in the other one to go on walks etc. Nice little spot, road noise wasn't very significant. Wooden spot to sit on down at the edge of the river. Good 4G signal on Vodafone

Parked up for an afternoon nap, clean and tidy, when we woke, opened van back doors and enjoyed the beautiful river view, a couple of other vans pulled up but no noise,

Great place to stay for a night. Some amazing walks and river views. Road opposite is quite noisy and lots of walkers/fishermen walking past but apart from that it was great! close to town and a lidl at the end of the road. reception and 4g was good too.

had planned to park up here for the night, but the road was closed and workmen digging it up. I ended up staying outside the school closer to the beginning of the road. It was quiet at night, but busy in the morning for school drop off, then quiet again.

Great place for an overnight, the road on the other side of the road is fairly noisy in the day but apart from that it's beautiful.
