30 juin 2025. Face à la mer, emplacement relativement plat, calme… juste le bruit des vagues. Wc très propre à proximité. Sommes arrivés à 19 h, il restait juste une petite place … endroit prisé. Bien emporter ses poubelles car aucune à disposition. Merci à la municipalité de nous permettre de disposer gratuitement de ce spot. Idéal petit gabarit, van, fourgon.

The lower beach area only has signs to say no campervans or tents, no signage to say overnight parking not allowed. So it's not ruled out nor in, so unofficially, favouring discreet car/van overnights. Amenities include toilets and an outdoor shower, but they lack any waste disposal. The upper area offers designated motorhome spaces. We got great chips & pizza

Juste exceptionnel comme spot ! Quand on a un p’tit van on peut se garer directement sur la plage, presque les pieds dans l’eau. Les toilettes 24/24 sont très propres. Des pêcheurs jusqu’au coucher du soleil et un cours de yoga au matin mais sinon très tranquille

Lovely spot for an overnight stay. Peaceful at night. The area is well looked after.

Parked right by the Shell House, facing the sea, perfectly level, dead quiet apart from the sea crashing below, wonderful.

An exposed location if it's windy. Quite good for walking the dog. Nothing nearby apart from the clean toilets on the beach about one hundred metres away. Friendly locals.

A fabulous spot overlooking the sea. The beach walking it lovely with lots of Memorials to lost sailors. The Shell House is fascinating. Plenty of walks to do in the area. Suitable for one night and nobody bothered us. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

One of the best park ups we’ve had in Ireland, overlooking the beautiful ocean. Clean toilet by the beach that is open 24hrs, plus a water tap and outside shower. The locals are MEGA friendly! Nice dog walking and decent phone signal. The shell cottage is well worth a look, AMAZING craftsmanship!

Very quiet, and the best sunrise.

Some of locals come let their dog run free and poop everywhere , then come have there take aways an throw rubbish out of cars. no bins there and no dog poop bins. Need to watch where walking.

Brilliant stop over. We drove here from the Rosslare ferry and arrived early in the morning for a nap! Very quiet and easy to find. Beautiful beach views. Public toilets and tap on the beach.

Lovely place with clean and well-maintained toilets (open 24 hours) and water tap next to beach shower. Stayed in the tarmac car park due to height barrier, would have been even better on the other one. Interesting (if ugly) concrete "feature" turns out to be a handball court built in 1912.

We went on the upper layby, which has no height restriction barrier. Very quiet Saturday overnight stay with only one other camper. The spot has great access to the beach, as well as clean public toilets with loo roll! Easy stop off after the ferry.

Second Time Staying In This Spot. Stayed Up In The Top Car Park On 3rd July. Beautiful Views, Toilets Open All Night, Basic Beach Toilets Nothing Too Special But All You Need For A Nights Stop Over.

Nice quiet spot with a lovely view. parked in the top car park, short walk to the toilet which was clean and tidy.

Mooie plek aan zee. 40 Minuten rijden vanaf de ferry. Er tegenover ligt de 'shell cottage', wat een bijzondere bezienswaardigheid is. Het was erg rustig 's nachts, je hoorde er alleen het geluid van de wind en de zee.

Dr obere Parkplatz ist perfekt, kein Hinweis auf ein Übernachtungsverbotanders beim Parkplatz am Strand wo man nicht über Nacht stehen sollte. Außerdem ist da auch ein Balken in etwa 2,20, mit dem Bulli sind wir knapp durchgekommen. Das WC war verstopft dürfte aber immer gesäubert werden da hier viel Strand Besucher sind.

We parked in the top car park. A few walkers and swimmers in the evening but very quiet during the night. Everyone friendly. Lovely view of the beach. Would recommend!

An absolutely beautiful spot we stayed on the beach our van is small so could get under the barrier loads of room and toilets there’s a carpark above for bigger campervan

Awesome spot, turn right and head up the hill, you'll find a tarmac area for over height vehicles. The perfect spot is next to the beach, offering a peaceful environment. There were a couple of other campers here when I stayed overnight.

Fantastic views looking right out at the sea, quiet night in the top carpark.. only a couple of other campers. area muddy with rain but fine. Access to the beach via steps a couple of ways. clean toilets in the lower carpark not far. Didn't see tap but other campers mentioned it.

Stopped Here For The Night 3rd July. Due To The Height Barrier Onto The Beach Car Park We Stayed Up In The Top Car Park Which Was A Lovely Spot With Some Beautiful Views. Toilets Down At The Entry To The Beach We’re All You Need For A Nights Stay, Basic But Clean. Busy In The Evening With Walkers Who We’re All Very Polite & Friendly, But Quiet Over Night. Would Stop Here For The Night Again.

Prachtig plekje. Parkeerplaats beneden met hoogte beperking maar boven kunnen ook zo’n 5 campers staan. Mooi uitzicht, wc en koude buitendouche.

Toller Platz direkt am Meer. Unterer Platz ist auf 2,4 m beschränkt. Ich denke oben darf man auch stehen. Toiletten vorhanden und sehr sauber. Eine Außendusche mit kalten Wasser vorhanden und Trinkwasserhahn in der Nähe. Sehr liebe Menschen dort!

We stay here on a regular basis, sauna, public toilets, coffee trailer, swimming, parking on the beach for smaller vans, another area over the road again for smaller vans, toilets open all night, outdoor shower wash off area, nice and quite most of the time but can be busy at peak times and weekends when the weather is good, few mins over the road to Kilmore Quay

My heart goes out to na crëatúir rating this five stars. They must be living in a war zone with the fear of being murdered every second weekend. The lower car park isn't accessable to any motorhome and most conversions due to the height bar. The locals only risk the top area in a tractor. They're still searching for the last poor French guy who fell into one of the numerous pot holes. On reaching the upper oasis we had the pleasure of wading through used condoms and copious amounts of dog shite.

Absolutely stunning views! Beautiful beaches - especially at low tide. Anglers out fishing as the water meets the sea. Popular with dog walkers and walkers. Quiet. Sea very soothing with refreshing sea air. BEWARE BATHING WARNING SIGNS! Spotless toilets with a reassuring bleach aroma. Beach shower plus foot rinse. Stayed 2 days and nights - no complaints. On the contrary, locals appeared exceptionally friendly.

Stayed for one night was perfect.. We have a high top vw so stayed in the area that had no height restrictions. Was only one other camper.. Right at the beach with public toilets that were well maintained.

We had a 1.9 meter van that fit under the barrier for the beach. There was plenty of room to park. The toilets were open all night and cleaned first thing Sunday morning. It was very peaceful and the beach was very clean. 10 out of 10, well done to those who maintain it.

Sehr schöner Übernachtungsplatz, sehr ruhig, mit Möglichkeit in den Atlantik zu springen. Perfekt für die Übernachtung, nach der Fährüberfahrt.

Un super parking face à la mer, beaucoup de place et des toilettes publiques qui dépannent bien ! Nous y avons passé une après-midi agréable, les gens du coin viennent promener leurs chiens, et une nuit très calme.

Stayed one night on the beach and were not disturbed very secluded and great to have toilets too ! I would say the barrier is closer to 125cm personally.

We parked on the top road, a very beautiful view and quiet area. Toilets, were clean, outdoor tap to refill and if your brave an outdoor shower to freshen up - we were and it was lovely

Parfait, un coin de paradis, accessible à tous, aucune barrière de hauteu, de la place pour 3/4 camping-cars.

Vue imprenable sur la mer, beaucoup de vent, mais malgré tout sympa

Parking en contrebas du cottage, limite de hauteur à environ 2,40 m. WC, douche extérieure, robinet et table de pique-nique, pas grand chose à voir dans les environs.

Superbe emplacement à côté de la Shell House. De l'eau, des WC et des douches de plage tout prêt. Malheureusement la nuit est très agitée à cause du vent.
