Excellent spot. Lovely view. Very peaceful. Lots of hearty sea swimmers in the morning. Chemical toilet, which was pretty clean as toilets go. Worth a visit to see Michael and Nollaig in Bessie’s Bar.
Sur le port de Kilcummin, là où les troupes françaises débarquèrent en 1798. Places tranquilles au bout du quai.

Plenty of room with peace and quiet. No problem staying and Bessie Bar now open. No meals though. Fishing is bad unless a mackerel shoal passes. Otherwise you will need a boat to have some success. Busy on weekends with swimmers (water freezing!!).
lovely spot for stop over
Lovely quiet spot. We spoke to friendly locals who were swimming and fishing on the pier. Plenty of mackerel caught btw. The nearest shop is Killala so bring everything you need. There’s a tap and an outside shower on the pier as well as a portaloo. It’s a great starting point for some lovely walks. Don’t leave without walking Kilcummin Head. I’ll definitely return here.
Nice quite park up in the small car park by the Quay. Nice view over Killala bay. Pretty flat room for about four vans. Very quiet & felt very safe. Clean porta loo fresh water tap on side of harbour wall under outdoor shower. The pub above the harbour is now closed unfortunately, but there is a coffee van there in the day.
Lovely spot but pub is no longer open Water tap on quayside over the wall under shower head and Porta Loo for cassette emptying.
Great spot, enough room for 8/10 vans water tap on the pier and a pub on the hill behind. good spot for fishing
