Pasamos una tarde/noche tranquila. Había gente pescando pero muy tranquilo. Al final del paseo hay un pequeño pub para tomar algo y si llegas pronto puedes cenar. Hay pocos sitios.

A free, beautiful, and quiet little stop by the river Trent. I stayed on a Sat night till Sunday morning. Flat enough ground yet only enough room for 5/6 vans. short walk on river path to the Bromley Pub. good grub, a tad expensive but a great menu, can hire a boat too, and fine drinking or simply beers. such a sound place .. will defo come again.

had two nights here as 1st night was wet & wanted to explore more. Plenty walking trails. Lovely seeing barges & boats travel along the River Trent. Bus stop nearby. Calm & peaceful. Stay again - yes

Great stop to break up our journey home. Right by the river, went for a run along the river which was lovely and went past the weir which was nice. Great for dog walk, pretty quiet and there is a bin.

Amazing place! Vodafone - weak signal. EE - excellent signal. Main road is not busy daytime or at night. Completely flat parking which is rare. I arrived late at night - be warned, there were 4 other vans parked so danger of being over used. That said, it so happened all of us were up early and everyone had left by 8am.

what a cracking little stop, flat, very quiet , right by river, very peaceful. No problems, no bins only dog poo bin so make sure you take your rubbish, not enough of these lovely places , room for 4 vans , nice quiet places to walk dogs

Great view and quite, also a nice pub along the river.

Lloc fantàstic al costat del riu. Pernocta totalment tranquil·la. Sense serveis. Si us plau, cuidem aquests llocs o cada cop tindrem més prohibicions. Si la paperera està plena no costa res emportar-se les escombraries i no deixar-les allà a térra o tirar-les a fora. Passeig agradable a la vora del riu fins al pub.

Getting overrun by people now and the Parish Council are looking at it, with height barriers being discussed. Vans are parking for days and parking sideways on, on the grass. Another spot in danger of being lost. Well done everyone.

Great spot, wish I’d found it sooner! I spent a few nights there, left every morning, there were several other vans there but no issue with spaces when I got there each evening. Nice walk along the river, the pub didn’t look open, surprising for a weekend in mid June.

Wir haben hier eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. War unsere erste Nacht freistehen und war echt ein toller Spot.

So this was a night of firsts, our first night out in our first camper. Absolutely loved it. Parked up and had a wander down to the pub. Came back and the van was still here. ? Lovely chilled, quiet setting. Would recommend.

lovely spot right on the river. walking distance to the Bromley Arms. we parked here first but noticed a better spot a minute up the road, no cars parked and picnic table nice for the summer.

parked here for 1 night. so peaceful. beautiful watching the river and the sun coming up in the morning. occasional people coming through the day to walk dogs. would definitely stay here again.

Parked here for one night and wasn't disappointed. Peaceful during the night and beautiful view of the River Trent when the sun came up. Had a lovely stroll down by the river. Car park got busy during the morning so may be difficult to maneuver a large van. Highly recommended park up with good phone signal.

Have spent the last couple of nights here in preparation for the Tout of Britain but unfortunately the local pub the Bromley has shut down while I was here.so make sure you have a couple of beers in your van

Lovely spot. Safe. You will hear only the most of fishing jumping into the lake. People walkway dogs early on the morning. Mostly elderly. Bit noise from the road, just park as far as you can and last, but not least no racers at all. This place is so far away from town that they do not come here.

we stayed last night parking on the tarmac after days of downpours. It was very quiet except for the party boat that passed by playing jazz which made for some entertainment. One other van stayed. I local dogwalkers were very friendly. I think two or three vans is enough as more may cause some hostility.

Beautiful spot, bin, quiet and fab view

We stayed here overnight last night and it was just amazing place to be. we parked near the picnic area and had a BBQ and few beers whilst watching the boats sailing past. then later walking down to the local pub for a drink there. good internet signal.

Great park up with nice views of river, anything longer than a sprinter van 7m and you might struggle not to block some spaces but probably ok on quieter days

lovely park up. Great view of the river trent. lots of boat to look at as they drive by. bins, grass area to have a bit to eat. bench to site on too. Nice walk down the river where there is a pub where you can get food and drink. Will stay here again.

Stopped here last weekend and loved the peace and tranquility. Couple of smoochy couples parked up. One left engine running for an hour! But hardly intrusive. Will be back :)

Great place for an overnight stop. We stayed in the layby just up the road which was very flat, picnic bench and litter bin available. Had a couple of cars come and go early evening but quiet after 10pm. Will stay again

had a great 2 nights here but you can get a bit of road noise, we did have a laugh on the 2nd night because the fire service turned up and was practicing at the side of the van . the wife didn't mind. we was in a LWB sprinter

Stopped over on a Saturday night. 3 other vans parked up. Very peaceful evening. Little road traffic or people at night. Felt very safe. A couple of benches, a small bin and a dog poop bin. Short and beautiful walk along the river to the pub. Little store selling essentials too. Plenty of birds to watch and lots of fish in the river including pike. Plenty of dog walkers and ramblers from 9am. Cute

Beautiful view of the river and occasional passing boats. Stayed on a Saturday night,the road was very quiet,a couple of other vans here for the night too. Felt very safe,a few dog walkers and runners passing by in the morning. Shops a short drive away. Lovely spot :)

This place was our first time wild camping. Stayed for one night and moved on but the next place looked a bit dodgy so came back and spent a second night here. No hassle from anyone. Its a popular place though. There is a pub just down the road. It only has a small carpark so people park here for it. We will definitely be back

Mooie plek aan het water. Rijden wel redelijk wat auto’s op de weg achter de parkeerplaats maar als dat het enige is? Mooi stukje om langs het water te lopen. Alleen de prullenbak is overvol.

arrived 4ish, busy with cars, walkers, joggers etc, but they soon left, had a wander up and down path, no signs not to park so settled for night, lovely spot by river. quiet, near road but hardly any cars, fab little spot.

Lovely spot overlooking River. Not too many parking spots. Did fit my 7.5m moho on no trouble. Quarter of a mile walk to great food pub in village. Imagine it'll be busy in summer.

Fab place, beautiful views and quiet. no restrictions but it's quite a posh area so please respectful and clean.... we didn't stay over but would if passing again. there were 2 large m/h here when we arrived so they obviously stayed. pub at end of river side walk. picnic bench, seats, bins.you can walk your dog here. a gem !

If only there were more parking places like this in the UK. No height barriers, no NO OVERNIGHT PARKING signs, friendly people, pub just along the footpath...what's not to like. Just don't all rush here and ruin it, thank you.

Lovely spot by the River Trent. Spent a peaceful night with very little traffic noise. Would recommend. Jenny S
