Seal sands viewing area and nature reserve car park. No signage about parking fees or restrictions. Lights from the chemical plants etc in the distance on one side but still has the salt smell of the sea in the air and bird noises can be heard till very late. The road is busy but gets quiet after 9/10pm then gets quite loud again by 5am.

Strange people arrived until 10 pm, we didn't feel safe and left as it is right next to a loud main road. Area around is ugly to say the least: chemical plants producing disgusting odours. Good level parking though and surely the seals are nice to watch

Good level car park. Not a soul here until about 8am when the bird watchers come out. Lorry's park up the road a bit and so must be safe enough.

Nice level car park. You might catch a glimpse of seals, too. We had 4 cars with youths pull up about 22.00hrs, but apart from a little noise, they kept themselves top themselves and left around 23.00hrs. There are no amenities or bins, and the road is noisy. I would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Nice place to park and flat. Cars are noisy till 9-10 pm and start back up at 6 am. There are no bins so please take your rubbish home, sadly when we stayed there people have left sacks of rubbish in the corner of the carpark hung on the Rspb gate.

Anywhere you can wake up and see seals in 8 minutes is a great find!! There's a little board in the park that directs you to the seal hide. 4 minutes from a lovely RSPB nature reserve that was great.

Great little spot. We were the only ones overnight. Road a little busy but didn't disturb sleep. There are 2 great hides nearby and we saw lots of birds, and a seal and seal pups in the morning so we loved it!

Great spot if it weren’t for two guys turning up in a van around 9pm and trying to open my front doors. Blasting the horn got them to leave but not the most fun.

Great spot. It's the car park for the local nature reserve. There's a bird watching outlook in the car park, and paths to the nature reserve about 10 mins away where there are lots of seals! The stay overnight was loud as you're right next to a main road in an industrial area, so lots of lorries going by. A lovely, strange, industrial, nature-filled place to stay.
