Great campsite. Warden on duty at certain points in time. Modern powerful showers and laundry facilities too. Beautiful views.
Pratique, à 1,6 km du quai du ferry de Stromness. Superbes vues. Toutes les installations requises qui sont propres bien qu'un peu démodées. Attention, sol herbeux très mou si humide, dur à disposition.
Convenient, 1 mile from Stromness ferry dock. Great views. All facilities required which are clean if a little dated. Attention, grassy ground very soft if wet, hardstanding available.
Praktisch, 1,6 km vom Fähranleger Stromness entfernt. Tolle Aussicht. Alle erforderlichen Einrichtungen sind sauber, wenn auch etwas veraltet. Achtung, Grasboden sehr weich, wenn nass, befestigter Untergrund vorhanden.

seibe0906/08/2024Schön gelegener Campingplatz, tolle Plätze und Aussicht, Sanitär recht neu, jedoch meistens nicht super sauber. Gute Lage nah an dem Fährenhafen und Stromness-Zentrum
stefanda04/08/2024Der Campingplatz an sich ist sehr interessant gelegen. Die Zufahrt dahin ein wenig abenteuerlich, aber wenn man auf den richtigen Klotz steht, hat man eine super tolle Aussicht. Für unseren Geschmack, war er ein wenig zu voll gepackt. Des Waschhaus, und die normalen Internetgeschwindigkeit ist sehr langsam. Die duschen sind mit den Toiletten kombiniert, so dass es morgens oder auch abends zu Engpässen kommen kann.

Cracking wee campsite with nice views and walks close by. Friendly welcome and had all the basics you could need. Plenty of wildlife to spot, so keep your eyes peeled.
thealbaadventurers21/07/2024A great location overlooking the harbour and water. Facilities were clean if a little dated although limited dishwashing facilities when campsite full. Warden very friendly and helpful. Lovely walk into town. Limited options to eat out so book in advance.

Ideal site for a one night stopover, especially when catching the Ferry. It’s a busy place. The shower and waste facilities were good. One washing machine and potwash sink with a vague queuing system that was slightly hit and miss. We had great views out to sea which made the stay worthwhile.

we stayed the night. brilliant as just off the ferry, hot showers, quiet site and great facilities. book online or just turn up and hope for a space. we booked on the day. however, for non residents there is access to chemical loo disposal, drinking water and removal of grey water for a donation to charity. will stop off on way back and use this.

jfgire03/06/2023tres beau camping, avec une superbe vue et de belle installations. Eviter les emplacements le long de l'allée à droite après l'accueil ( jusqu n°31 inclus) car c'est une allée "publique" traversée par tous les locaux qui viennent en voiture promener leur chien.... on peut utiliser les services ( eau grise, noires et eau propre) à l'entrée du camping sans y résider ( don demandé).

I don’t know where the reviewer came up with a 1 a shower they are free now. Stellar campsite with a beautiful walk to see the sunset. Jemima is awesome. Book 10 or 47 for fantastic views but also feel very private.
fammol04/06/2022£25,70 voor 3 adults + 1 child + 7,3m camper. Geen optie zonder stroom helaas. Wasmachine kost £2 en wast maar 15-20min en wordt niet echt schoon. Droogplaats voor was aanwezig. De weg door de camping wordt gebruikt door iedereen om naar de pier te rijden, ook al wordt er gezegd dat dit geen officiële parkeerplaats is, zo wordt die wel gebruikt. Douches kosten inmiddels £1 en geven 10min lang water.

What a gem of a caravan park, with a lovely jovial caretaker, Gemina. Beautiful view of the sea and nearby islands. Good value. Caters to most needs. Even has a TV room. Fills up with socially distanced reduced capacity, advisable to book ahead.

Fantastic site, great clean facilities including washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, free WiFi, the site is situated right on the water so lots to see and only a 15 minute walk into Stromness

Great campsite overlooking the sea, 10-15 min wAlk into Stromness. Good facilities and convenient for ferry - £19.50 per night plus 20p for shower.

Camping très fonctionnel, douche avec eau chaude à 0,20£. Accueil très sympa! Situé au bord de l'eau à quelques minutes du ferry!
