Constant activity during the day but quiet. Very quiet at night. Level car park. Toilet block is permanently closed. Planes can be loud when flying overhead but it's not too often.

Parkeerterrein van de Forest Service, midden in de natuur. Ca. 20 minuten fietsen (e-bike) naar hartje Belfast, voornamelijk over een prachtig (autovrij) pad langs een slingerende rivier. op het parkeerterrein is een waterpunt, ook zijn er vuil is bakken. De beheerder van de Forest Service was heel vriendelijk en gaf ons nog enkele tips voor ons bezoek aan de stad. Aanrader.

We hebben hier rustig de nacht doorgebracht samen met twee andere campers. Van avond twee auto,s die een beetje met hun licht knipperen maar daar moet je niets van aan trekken. Je kunt hier leuk wandelen.Dat wordt ook veel gedaan door honden bezitters,zonder hond mag ook.Er staan hier genoeg prullenbakken en hier ziet er wel schoon uit.

Local kids/teens around in evening playing music and reving cars. Not an issue at the time as it’s their local park. They then snook back at midnight (no car sound) and threw a greasy bright red, vinegar substance with food bits (5+ litres) over van. Thankfully it didn’t wake the kids up. Seems from the comments to be escalating from engine revving and silliness to damage to property.

Excelente, perfecto para pernoctar. Hay basuras, así que por favor, cuidemos este lugar. Ojalá todas las ciudades tuvieran áreas como ésta tan cerca. A primera hora de la noche dos coches pitaron y dieron luces y láseres. Eran sólo unos jóvenes aburridos y maleducados, nada peligroso. Se fueron deprisa después de su travesura. Pobres simples. Estábamos tres furgonetas. Todo perfecto.

Großer Parkplatz direkt neben dem Wald! Tagsüber viel los, nachts sehr ruhig!

Schöner ruhiger Platz. Der Ranger war sehr freundlich und sagte wir können so lange bleiben wie wir wollen. Mit dem Bus in die Stadt ist kein Problem

It's the perfect spot for a night in Belfast. Very calm night, surrounded by nature, 15' from the city center. In the morning the guard Jim came to greet us and gave us a lot of recommendations and tips. It was very kind and helpful. Right outside the woods there's a bus stop, the lines take you in town.

We had a pretty calm night at this place. In the morning a very friendly ranger welcomed us and told us we could stay here as long as we want and consider this place as our backyard :)

I added this place some years ago because it is a place where I would have played as a young lad. Never got around to staying until last night, but it is everything it ought to be. The silence was deafening and the smells of the forest excited the senses. After Six pm we were alone for fourteen hours and then joined by dog walkers. I would give this five it there were services.

Stayed for one night, lovely area in the forest, a few people around walking dogs but no issues. No facilities but a bin. Bus stop 10 min walk to go into the centre

Abbiamo passato una notte molto tranquilla con il nostro camper van. Oltre a noi, c’erano solo altri due camper, quindi l’atmosfera era piuttosto rilassata. La mattina, il parcheggio ha iniziato a popolarsi di persone che portavano i cani al parco adiacente, ma nonostante questo, l’ambiente è rimasto molto silenzioso e piacevole. Perfetto per una sosta tranquilla, lo consiglio!

Pasamos dos noches. La primera unos niñatos estuvieron 10min haciendo ruido y pitando con motos, claramente para fastidiar. Afortunadamente se cansaron rápido. La segunda noche fue fantástico , la silencio absoluto. Por la mañana el guarda nos preguntó qué tal habíamos pasado la noche, nos ofreció llenar el tanque de agua y fue encantador. Hay un Tesco enorme con gasolinera al otro lado de la carretera

Assolutamente tranquillo per la notte e in sicurezza totale. Un residente è venuto a salutare indicando il vicino edificio per docce o bagni.Alcuni VAN posteggiati male prendono 2 posti auto per favorire la loro bella porta laterale sul prato.Ci vorrebbe più educazione da parte di questi signori “camperisti”. A 5 min a piedi il BUS corsa unica senza cambi circa 20 minuti fino al centro (capolinea)

Très calme ! Malgré la proximité de l’aéroport. Pas de passage et l’impression d’être dans la forêt.

passé une nuit . endroit joli et très calme , qqs joggeurs et passants, paisible. parfait pour une halte sur belfast, bus accessible à 10-20 min à pied. possibilités de promenades avec des parcours dans le parc (balisage quasi absent, dommage). 3 campings cars sur le site à notre passage. facile de manoeuvrer

Sitio muy tranquilo, muy cuidado, con barbacoas, papelera, carga de agua y liso, solamente oirás a los deportistas mañaneros. El encargado muy amable nos indicó donde coger el agua, que está en la entrada a mano izquierda, es una fuente. Gracias. Por favor cuidar los sitios donde nos quieren.

Gran aparcamiento en medio del parque. Genial para pasar la noche. Muy tranquilo. Había varias autos. Lejos del centro. Para visitar la ciudad, decidimos coger la auto y aparcarla en unos de los parkings del centro.

Perfect spot for one night in Belfast. We arrived very late from ferry, about 10 other campers already there :). Busy during the day with dogwalkers and joggers. Great for explore Belfast by bike :)

Brilliant spot. Can’t believe this is free. Big car park surrounded by woods and lovely dog walks. Everybody friendly. Spotted some human waste near the car park. Hope minority not going to spoil the access for vans.

Sehr ruhig und nur 10 Auto-Minuten vom Stadtzentrum. Wir standen mit 3 weiteren Campern. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Spacious quiet car park, we stayed the night with no issues, lovely park area to walk round and we got the bus from the end of the road into Belfast which took about 20 minutes.

Very handy peaceful parkup for Belfast. Forestry staff allowed us access to fill up our under slung water tank at the tap behind the office building. Large Tesco supermarket less than 10 minutes walk.

Ik heb hier twee nachten gestaan, samen met nog 3 campers. Afvalbakken en er schijnt een kraan te zijn. Vriendelijke parkwachter en de politie kwam ‘s avonds ook even een rondje maken. Perfecte plek om Belfast te bezoeken, vooral met de fiets. Over het voormalige jaagpad langs de Lagan 7km een vrijwel autovrije route naar het centrum. Overdag wat hondenwandelaars, maar ‘s nachts heerlijk rustig.

Great place to park, easily accessible lots of parking and other vans/motorhomes there on arrival. We cycled into town and the ranger was really helpful! There is a public water tap behind some iron gates, 5 minute walk away from the car park!

Un lugar de 10. Tranquilo, seguro, llano y gente amable que viene a pasear con o sin perritos. He estado dos noches y lo recomiendo al 100%. Desde allí puedes tomar un bus y llegar a Belfast en menos de media hora.

Fantastic lot with very friendly park rangers. Very welcoming and let us stay as long as we liked. Level ground and lots of space. Quiet and peaceful.

Three other vans parked up for the night. Quiet undisturbed night. I’ll use again next time I have to overnight in Belfast.

Lovely park up. Flat and calm, save for a few flights taking off from Belfast airport. Lots of friendly dog walkers. Very welcoming park ranger this morning said we’re welcome here anytime. Used to be the house and gardens of the Duke of Wellington’s mother.

Great quiet park up. Got here at 22:30 on a Saturday night after getting the ferry. Then lovely walk in the morning through the woodland

Une nuit vraiment tranquille. Si vous aimez dormir sans bruit, c'est le lieu idéal à Belfast. Beaucoup de place et plat.

Super ruhig in der Nacht. Tagsüber ist eine gewisse Geräuschkulisse vorhanden, aber alles im Rahmen. Perfekt für Besichtigung von Belfast, in 20min ist man mit dem Bus in der Innenstadt.

Noche tranquila, varias furgonetas y autocaravanas pasamos la noche. Bastantes sitios para estacionar.

Parking sin servicios. Hemos pasado dos noches. Algunos chavales pasando con coches al principio de la noche pero nada demasiado molesto. Lugar para pesar por el bosque. Está algo alejado del centro, pero por la mañana aparcamos en la zona universitaria y desde allí unos 25 minutos andando al centro

Very quiet, out in the green, and with plenty of space also for larger vehicles.

Bel endroit calme nous y sommes restés deux nuits et notamment un samedi soir mais rien à signaler que du calme. Le matin beaucoup de promeneurs. Poubelles à dispo et le dimanche matin petit vendeur de café…. Sur place

Nice parking to sleep. We were 3 vans tonight. Everything was perfect until 4am when a car star spinning dangerously close to our van. (Saturday night) :(

Really nice spot close to Belfast ! we were unlucky because 2 cars stopped by in the middle of the night leaving their engines running... We met Jim, the park maintenance man, who was simply adorable. He gave us lots of information and, above all, he told us where the drinking water was in the park and that we shouldn't hesitate to use it.

Prima plaats. Erg rustig 's nachts. Enkel joggers en wandelaars die de mooie paden in de buurt gebruiken.

Grosser Parkplatz und sehr praktisch. Man hat eine wundervolle Sicht auf die Natur und die Hills. Am besten rückwärts an den Hang stehen, dann wacht man mit wundervollem Blick auf und abends ein traumhafter Sonnenuntergang. Morgens um 9.30 kommt der Kaffeemann. Ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad in die Stadt von Belfast.

An absolute gem of a place!! Plenty of room to park with lovely trails around it. The forest maintenance people were really friendly and confirmed that overnight parking is free! Lovely coffee van in the car park. It's very popular with dog walkers but only a few other vans were camping when we stayed - it's also pretty close to the city centre!

Pretty good parkup for the city during week but may be different on Fri/Sat night. Good view of Divis and Black mountains. Lots of dog walkers as others have reported. Quiet later in evening when we were there. Coffee guy arrived around 9.30am - no other facilities apart from rubbish bins.

Très calme et plat. 20 minutes en voiture du centre. Point d'eau juste avant le parking, à gauche, passez sous un porche, robinet d'eau au fond de la cours à droite

Great safe public car park close to city centre. We were there for 3 nights, although lots of walkers and dog walkers during the day, lots of space for everyone, quite at night with no problems at all. Level surface with bins on site, 10 mins walk to bus stop, buses approx ever 30mins, time table at bus shelter, 30 mins ride right into city centre. Highly recommend.

Good place to spend the night vey quiet and big parking space also has a trail to walk with your dogs.

Beautiful, peaceful and convenient to Belfast centre. It would have had five stars had there been any facilities. It’s beside a large forest with different walks, there is a housing estate which you drive into to gain access. There are a couple of small grocery stores in the estate and a large shopping mall fifteen minutes walk away.
