Effectivement il faut monter plus haut sur la route pour trouver le petit parking au bord de la route en face dans l'ancienne aérodrome. Très bien, peu de passage sur la route. Au calme pour la nuit.
En bordure d'un aérodrome désaffecté, un endroit idéal pour une nuit tranquille ou plus.

Winona2318/12/2023We spent one night here and it was great. Quiet road surrounded by farm lands. We weren’t disturb and we even saw about 50 deers!
BrianandShelagh13/07/2023Stayed here recently. Wasn’t too happy about parking on the road although it was quite wide. We tucked into a gateway, which led to the old runway, so that farm traffic could still pass and hoped that was ok.

Need to travel a little further up the road to reach the point where the picture is taken. Not under the trees.

TimWhite26/03/2023Nice tranquil spot, our satnav told us we arrived under some trees, we pushed on a little further where the road opens up where you can happily park on the side of the road allowing traffic to pass. Only a few cars came past on a Saturday night. Peaceful night sleep, but roads are a little narrow getting here. we managed ok in 2.4m wide Baily glad we had no on coming traffic.

Stayed one night without issue, a few cars parked around in the morning as I parked near the footpath entrance that leads to a nice walk on the runway. Parking wise there's multiple places around the old airport to park depending on vehicle size and personal preference.

Wonderful quiet road with virtually no traffic for the entire weekend that I parked up. Pleasant walks in the countryside. I loved it. No facilities at all so be prepared to take everything you require and remove your waste afterwards.
