Really nice spot surrounded by sheep, view of the mountains and the bay
Excellent endroit pour 2 camionnettes, belle vue sur les cullins, points d'accès de randonnée et grand lac pour les activités nautiques. Routes calmes après 20h, quelques moutons et petits incendies autorisés tant qu'ils sont contenus dans une fosse pour ne pas endommager le sol.
Excellent spot for 2 vans, beautiful views of the cullins, hike access points and large loch for water activities. Quiet roads after 8pm some sheep and small fires allowed as long as there contained in a pit so it’s not damaging the ground .
Ausgezeichneter Ort für 2 Transporter, schöne Aussicht auf die Cullins, Wanderzugangspunkte und großer See für Wassersportaktivitäten. Ruhige Straßen nach 20 Uhr einige Schafe und kleine Feuer erlaubt, solange sie in einer Grube enthalten sind, damit der Boden nicht beschädigt wird.

S11Steve07/04/2026one of many great spots along this road - blocked at one end by boulders but still accessible and dry back slightly from the road mostly level, great 4g signal and one of the darkest skies I've seen. A few cars passed too late evening, but nothing again till 8am.

excellent place for a motorhome as slightly larger than the others places and also on gravel and not soggy grass reasonably level with big views, friendly sheep as neighbors, does it get better than this?

We blocked the lay-by and had it to ourselves as the others were free. Great spot to take the dogs for a walk and have a chilled night in our van. It is quiet exposed to the wind so bear that in mind!
SP66ROXY28/09/2024As noted the southern end of the layby is now blocked but still can be accessed from the north. Still room for two vans but would need some cooperation. Fantastic quiet spot overnight.
passengerseat12/08/2024The proper layby is now housing gravel and blocked off by large stones, but we parked up nearby on the side just after the bridge. It is close to the road, but there is little traffic late. You are very exposed to the elements, but it is a gorgeous remote area with 360 views and no signal. We spent 2 nights with others nearby.

Spot proche de la route mais après 20h c'est très calme. Nous n'avons en tout cas pas été dérangé par le bruit. Vue à couper le souffle et chemins de rando à proximité. Pour s'assurer un bon spot, ne pas arriver trop tard.

Peaceful spot near the road. No cars at night after 8 pm. Nice views of mountains and loch. Near a small creek. No mobile signal (O2 carrier).

Excellent endroit pour passer la nuit ! Les moutons vous tiendront compagnie. La route est calme le soir, même fin juin. Merci de garder l’endroit propre tel qu’il est.

lady_rogers05/05/2023Très bel endroit, attention venir tôt, hors saison et des 19h tous les spots sur la rive ensoleillée étaient pris. très belle vue sur le loch et le long de la route en y allant. attention très peu de buissons pour se cacher.

I knew of this camp but I usually park across the other side of the Loch where its more sheltered. I enjoyed my camp here, traffic was quiet and the views were great. Weather was windy and heavy rain but the clods coming in and out of the gullies made for a beautiful view until the sun went down. Lots of hikes can be done from here as well as just relaxing and enjoying the mountains.
