Nice parkup up a track behind the pub. By the railway but very few trains.£5 to park and they like you to eat in the pub. The food is really good- very Scottish vibe , nice people, beer brewed up the road . Toilets available overnight; showers for an extra charge.

Endroit typique, avec un excellent accueil. 5£ par personne pour une nuit. Ambiance agréable dans le pub. Près de la petite gare où il y a très peu de trafic. Jolie vue. Je recommande.

I can’t beam enough about this place! The family who run it are so friendly, and the food is great bonus. £5 to stay the night with access to toilets 24/7. They have a separate toilet and shower in the entrance of the pub but that’s closed when the pub closes.

We had a really nice quiet night here. Super friendly lady in the pub and enjoyed a few beers in the evening. Great place to park up for a night. Nice long walk along the quiet road that crosses the level crossing. Lovely stay. Thank you!

Netter Parkplatz neben einem Bahnhof/Pub, wo ca. 2 Stellplätze vorhanden sind. Nettes Personal im Pub und die Toiletten können ganztägig genutzt werden.

Er stonden 2 motorhome’s die zich zodanig parkeerden dat we er niet bij konden staan. Een vriendelijks dame stelde voor om de eigenaar van de Nederlandse motorhome te zoeken in het restaurant zodat hij zich iets kon verplaatsen. De eigenaar van het restaurant zei echter botweg: vol is vol, vertrek maar. 1 ster was meer dan genoeg, maar met 1 ster kon ik geen beoordeling geven!

Great place for an overnight stop. We were next to the railway, but only saw 3 trains and they were very quiet. Otherwise we just heard birdsong! The owners were very friendly and helpful, the toilets very clean and open overnight. We were only charged £10 for our motorhome. We had a drink in the bar in the evening, and breakfast.

Der Platz schräg aber in Ordnung. Eine Bahn am Morgen gehört hat uns aber nicht gestört. Essen im Lokal sehr lecker und Frühstück haben wir bekommen obwohl wir nichts vorbestellt hatten. Auch sehr lecker! Die Toiletten die man nutzen darf waren leider nicht so sauber. Trotzdem eine Empfehlung von uns.

Ein kleiner Platz für ca 3 Camper. Die Toiletten im nah gelegenen Restaurant dürfen auch über Nacht benutzt werden. Der Wirt und Besitzer des Platzes war überaus freundlich und hat uns ein sehr leckeres Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre serviert.

Le propriétaire de l’hôtel a repris l’accueil de camping-cars. 5£ par personne pour y passer la nuit, douche très chaude pour 5£ de plus (il n’a pas fait payer pour nos enfants). Parking le long de la voie ferrée mais nous n’avons pas entendu de train passer (nos voisins moutons ont été les plus bruyants!) Délicieux petit déjeuner écossais pour 15£ par personne. Accueil souriant et chaleureux.

we arrived just before 5pm on a Friday, this is no longer a pub it is a cafe and a post office. no motorhome parking and noone around to ask

A warm welcome, lovely food and local ale. It was £13 to park in their campervan area behind a gate and we had access to the toilets all night and could fill up our water as well. We stayed on a Friday and felt secure and had a great night's sleep. The parking is next to the train station, but weren't woken by any trains and the surrounding area is beautiful. We would definitely stop off again.

The price has risen to £6.50 per person to stay in a gravel area adjacent to the railway station. The £6.50 is NOT redeemable against any purchase made in the pub which is a shame as many pubs do redeem a parking charge if you purchase food or drinks The pub/hotel and toilets weren't clean and the food was, at best, mediocre. Toilets open 24/7.

15/9/22 saw a sign when passing camper vans welcome. Parked in car park but was a little area on grass through a gate. Owner and staff (Gabriel) extremely friendly and welcoming food good as well bonus. Would highly recommend

Atmospheric location, great music, tasty food and delicious beer. A more than friendly and accommodating owner. Our pitch was right next to the station, but even the first train in the morning was barely noticeable. Very quiet night spent. Thank you, Richard!

In die Jahre gekommener Pub. Muffig. Parken geht hinter dem Hotel an der Bahnlinie oder am Rondell. Wir haben zwei Bier getrunken und nichts gegessen, da es uns zu schrabbelig war. Für eine Nacht und Zwischenstop ok.

Nos cobraron 10£ por persona cuando nos dijeron que eran 5£. Cuando nos dimos cuenta y reclamamos, nos echaron del lugar y nos devolvieron el dinero. Trato lamentable ya que ademas estabamos cenando en su pub. Nada recomendable, se intentaron aprovechar.

Hier geht einem das Herz auf! Großartige Menschen, sehr, sehr hundefreundlich, tolle, urige Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen, großartiges Frühstück! Wir standen an einem ruhigen Eckchen an der Straße mit Zugang zu den hoteleigenen Toiletten die ganze Nacht für 5 Pfund pro Person. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

The Strathcarron Hotel is super friendly and welcomes motorhomes and campers £5 per person. Parking is in a secure car park adj the train station. 24hr access to toilet facilities. Lovely walks for dogs much better spot than the Forrestry Commision lay-by just up the road…!

Last minute park up, owners were very accommodating. paid £10 to park up with peace of mind. access to the toilets available all night. book ahead as the carpark isn't huge. lovely cosy log burner and food served. phoned Strath Carron hotel before arriving.

Stayed 2/5/22, £5 per person, large motorhome, car park at rear of hotel. Friendly owner and staff, we sat and had drinks, food available if wanted and breakfast. Great stop over, highly recommend

Lugar entrañable donde la atención no puede ser mejor. Por 5£ por persona puedes aparcar y te deja los baños abiertos toda la noche. Se puede aparcar gratis en otros lugares pero aquí te permite tomarte unas pintas (baratas por cierto, y con posibilidad de beber una cerveza que hacen en el propio pueblo) con el personal y los lugareños super amables. Sin duda recomendado.

Stayed here in a converted van. Car park associated to hotel, £5 per person to park and use toilets, just ask the owners in the hotel. Really friendly and welcoming people! Plenty of room for larger vehicles, would highly recommend and would stay again. Also fantastic breakfast in the morning at the hotel!

Go to the pub, get some food or drink and the owner will be more than happy for you to stay. £5 per person toilets open all night, tap for fresh water. Traffic quiet, level ground, super dog friendly pub!!

£5 each for use of toilets throughout the night, no showers due to Covid regs. Quiet enough, some traffic in the morning and the 1 train but that was it. Friendly staff in the pub.

Great spot to stay the night. Double checked with the owner it was ok to park round the back of the pub. He was very welcoming. Charges £5pp for use of toilet which is open all night. Had a good evening meal in the pub/hotel whilst watching the football. Highly recommend!

Great spot, parked in the pub/hotel carpark for 1 night. Food in the pub was delicious. Live music and really friendly staff. Ask permission from the landlord to park before getting settled for the night.

Super friendly pub owner who is more than happy to accommodate campervans staying overnight in the car park. Certainly doesn’t hurt having access to a cosy pub with great beer and delicious food. There is a small charge of £5 pp to use toilet and shower facilities. Definitely recommend.

Great place, free to park overnight, £5 to use toilets. Quiet until 7ish. Owners prefer smaller vans, very friendly and helpful. We had a meal a few drinks and watched football and they offered us breakfast too, which was £15 and average to be honest but started the day right. They have a few camping spots and pods too. Perfect on way to or from Skye and only a few mins from main NC500 route.

Quiet night in the hotel carpark. Very friendly and helpful proprietors and the best fish and chips of our holiday so far. £5 per person, toilets open 24hrs and spotlessly clean. Live music all day Saturday when we were there.

Arrived 8pm, campsites everywhere were full,spoke to landlord they were happy for us to stay on carpark. lovely ppl would recommend. they are in the process of making toilets and shower block even better,they also have a few little pods available soon. 9th July 2021.

After spending a very wet and windy day in Isle of Skye, we arrived here after seeing it on park4night. It definitely did not disappoint. The owners were so nice and helpful and said we could stay in the pub car park in our camper. This was the best night sleep we’d had all week as the ground is flat and the nearby road is very quiet. The food and real ale was also very good, especially the golden cow real ale that is brewed in Strathcarron. We paid £5 each to use a shower and the rooms were nice and clean. 10/10, couldn’t recommend this place more.

Small car park at the back of Strathcarron Hotel/pub and restaurant. Arrived after 6pm and so was unable to eat and drink inside due to currant Covid rule. The Landlord was very Accommodating and let us park here the night and used the take out service. We even topped up with water in the morning after a very peaceful night.
