I would avoid this parking for now. There's currently big diggers, and other plant vehicles parked. No toilet and 1 bin. Looks like an active work in progress
Lovely big quiet car park. Only vehicle here over night. £12.50 for 24 hour ticket. Walk down into the village only takes a few minutes, had a lovely walk along the coast. No facilities on the car park although there are some public toilets a short walk away open till 5pm.
Perfect spot in Golspie.. Peaceful nights sleep - £12.50 for 24hrs. All funds go to Highland Wildcat to improve site. Great trails and beach walk. Toilets and shops in the village. Will stop again next time.
primarily a mountain bikers car park. 24 hour now £12, 2 nights for £20. Day parking if using the trails is £5. Machine takes card or cash (cash can jam so card is best) All fees go towards maintaining the mountain biking trails by the community who plan to clean it up and level it subject to funds. There are now no portaloos but there are lovely toilets in the village open till 6pm in summer.
Nice little quiet spot. only a short walk to the beach. no facilities, but could get WiFi (even on 3). ask for a £3 donation but the machine is still not working.
Some flat spots. Very quiet. Great night's sleep. Ticket machine still broken
Very lumpy site. Excellent parking but very quiet. Ticket machine broken and has been for 3 months. Railway line runs adjacent, very infrequent trains. Rough terrain to park on but excellent for rain as it runs downhill @ sort of hard standing.
Schöner Platz, liegt an der Fountain Road die als Sackgasse endet. Hätte die 3£ gerne bezahlt, weil damit die Wanderwege instand gehalten werden. Automat out of Order. Öffentliche Toiletten an der Fountain Road, 200m vor dem Parkplatz.
Rustig gelegen. Begin van wandel en bike trail. Parkeer automaat is buiten werking. Erg schuin. Wij zijn uiteindelijk op andere Parkeerplaats aan zee gaan staan
Lovely quiet spot. Toilets are around a 5min walk but close at 6pm! Supposed to pay £3 for a ticket but the machine isn't working so we got it for free so cannot complain. Gets busy around 10am with people walking dogs and going on bike rides in the woods. Perfect for a quick night sleep
No one else here, quiet night, train to Brora then walk back along coast.
Great walk next to the van and loads of space. A short walk to the beach and the chippy. Not level but this was not a problem.
Fine location in walking distance from the town. Very cute little town where we had a nice breakfast. Nothing too special but fine and safe location away from the roads
Lovely quiet location. We paid our £3 the night we arrived and another £3 the next day. Had an undisturbed quiet night and took the dogs for a nice walk nearby the next morning. No portaloos but it is off season (Oct 2022). Bin available by entrance.
wildcats MTB Trail start and 3£ "donation" at meter for a day. no cards, only cash!! overnight not prohibited but "donation" ends at 23:59 .. feel free to donate a second time the day after and keep this lovely place bin free ;)
good car park 5 mins walk into village. Very quiet only a few dog walkers in the evening. £3 donation to stay.
Stayed the night 15.05.2022. Quite a basic car park, plenty of space, though there was only one other van there with us. Road was very quiet, and only a 10 minute walk up from town and the public toilets, which were open 24/7 and free.
absolutely barnstorming spot. only one other camper here and no cars have gone past since we got here about an hour ago. it is a Sunday though. lovely view up at the statue of the Duke of Sutherland. very peaceful and only 3 quid for parking.
stayed 2 nights in November. very quiet. note that the donation is to use the trails not the car park but still felt you should pay as a courtesy. had one boy racer turn up and do a donut by the camper in the evening but it her than that had the place to ourselves.
Great spot to park up. 3 pounds parking charge seems to run from arrival to midnight so you'd need to pay twice per 24 hours. unless you arrive and leave at midnight. Great base for cycling although the easier trails are accessed via the trickier trails from here. Nice and quiet. 5 min walk to small town, beaches and lovely seaside walk. golf club near by too.
Stayed one night on my NC500 route. No facilities apart from a bin but it was clean, quiet and just a walk away from the town where there is a great stocked CoOp store open till at least 10pm. Also a fish and chip shop and a Chinese takeaway. Great also if you have a dog companion as there is a trail route for walkies as well as walking to and along the seafront.
Great spot, only £3 to stay for the day, donating towards the up keep of the car park and the hiking/biking trails which I used, so no issue. Minor O2 signal, bins on site. Left early because the ticket only runs to midnight no matter what time of day you pay for the ticket, and didn't intend to stay the next day.
Just a basic car park that looks run down and unappealing, not that level either. however good news is that the traveller and his dogs have now gone, a half mile stroll to the main high street and shops
We parked here in early June. No portaloos and there were some caravans with a generator that was very noisy into the early hours of the morning.
Couldn’t access this site . i’m a 7.5t heavy weight and there was a 3t weight restriction before going under the bridge to this spot so i travelled along to brora
Very quiet overnight, shared with 1 other van. Some mountain bikers in the morning. Suggested £3 donation at pay and display machine, coins only. Intermittent O2 4G signal. Some rubbish, but overal not bad. Public toilets located about 10 mins walk down in the town, along with a shop for staples.
Nice quite location with short walk into the village. At the time of staying in Nov 2020 there were no Porta loo, maybe only available in Summer months. Good TV reception and 4G on o2
Nice spot, very quiet at night. Short walk into centre of village where there are toilets. Donation requested of £3 which is payable in machine.
Nice place to stop, bike trail looks good never had time to have a go, asked for donations so paid for two tickets £6 not bad, has two porter loos nice and clean as long as ever one keeps it that way, going to the local butchers for tomorrow tea.
Extra carpark for m/h,campervans with bike trails very quiet when we where there.Paid £3 not clear on how much to pay but that's rate for the day also 2 portaloos which were well stocked and clean.
