staying here bank holiday 02/05 2025 good motorhome site .only just got on friday around noon it was full of motorhomes .nice quiet night .can't people read .It says no chairs or tables outside .there is 3 groups of. different campers with em. out.And a group has got a barbeque going .They will spoil it for us that actually stick to the rules. No wonder we are loosing our park ups.

  • 5/5

This was our first overnight stay in our van. We felt safe. Payment is via the RingGo app and toilets were clean and are entered via a code issued on payment.

  • 5/5

I've just spent two nights here. £7.70 per night. Its free parking up until 6pm though. I arrived on Wednesday late morning and got the last spot at that time. A good safe park up. Quite a bit of traffic noise but it does die down later until about 6am. Look out for Shakies Chippy, not too far away. A fantastic small, but decent sized Haddock and chips for £4.90 !

  • 5/5

This is the first park up I’ve been to that actually has a toilet waste empty point. I’ve seen Plenty in France and Spain but first one in the uk. It also has water general waste and there is a small cafe on the seafront. £7.50 code to toilets etc is on the parking app. Well done to the local council

  • 4/5

Ok park up next to the beach, quiet night. Payment is via the Ringo App, didn’t see any cash or card machine. Visit Sid Littles pub nearby, called The Steamer. Decent Chinese restaurant/takeaway a short walk away. If using tram/bus get the Blackpool transport app, you can get cheap all day tickets for the area.

  • 4/5

Good park up handy for beach and bracing walks. Just a shame the elsan point was out of order and there is no drive over grey waste. Still it is cheap parking as obviously not as posh as the areas south of Blackpool i.e Lytham and St Anne’s in the Sea. Wish we were back in Spain or France!

  • 5/5

Great little spot well situated near to beach and amenities £7.80 for 24 hour definitely recommended if your stopping for one night

  • 5/5

lovely stopova friendly neighbours and quiet night, felt like a camper community. Access to the toilets is great if you don't have onboard facilities - code given with the purchase of your ticket. this is done via the app. Some early dog walkers passed by but had a great night's rest. We will return - I imagine summer season early park up would be needed as the motorhome spaces are limited.

  • 5/5

Great location, next to beach. Flat parking, £7.70 for 24hrs. Elsan point & toilet facilities. Very popular. Very quiet night. Been many times, you need to be there before late afternoon.

  • 5/5

Nice quiet car park very dark, very clean toilets and elsan point. Pay by app you get the code for toilets on app. Stayed for two nights.

  • 4/5

Quiet car park and good value at£5 per night with access to toilets

  • 4/5

Stayed here two nights, Saturday and Sunday, 30th November and 1st December, we took the last spot at around 9.30am on the Saturday, very busy, safe, quite park up with toilets, black and grey waste, bins around the site too, could not hardly hear the bells, nice walk into town 10mins and to get the tram into Blackpool they run every 15 mins 7 days . Would return nice and peaceful.

  • 5/5

Fabulous little site. About 10 vans overnight and many more spaces available. Very quiet and calm and no problems with the chiming clock...it can barely be heard! Perfect location to cycle into Blackpool on a beautiful sunny, but quite chilly, day. Would definitely use this place again.

  • 5/5

Stayed at Fleetwood central carpark this weekend more council need to do this £5 for 24hours with toilet facilities/drop 15mins walk from Fleetwood centre beech Infront of you. only downside was church chimming and dog mess

  • 3/5

I arrived at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon and it was already full! I did notice tables and chairs outside some motorhomes. Please obey the rules, this is a carpark not a campsite or the facilities will be removed, don't be selfish and spoil it for others. I travelled further south and parked in Blackpool.

  • 5/5

very nice spot near the beach. toilets and elsan very clean. value for money at £5 from 6pm to 8am, free in the day. only slight downside was the church clock chiming, also the dog poo spoilt it a little as someone let their dog crap at side of our van in the night.

  • 5/5

An absolute gem of a stopover .Hats off to to the local council for providing a safe level car park.Great value for money bins and toilet on site. This was our third visit so convenient for Blackpool access straight onto the beach .

  • 5/5

Excellent stop. We will be back again. £5.00 per night. Could not fault. Town 5 mine walk and tram easy to find.

  • 5/5

Absolutely great stopover, second time we've visited and will be back. £5 for 24 hours. We spent money in the town which we probably wouldn't have done if we weren't able to stay. Other councils should take a leaf out of their book. Brilliant.

  • 5/5

Great little site. A couple of the Disabled bays are level too. The code to use the toilet and black waste disposal is displayed on the app as soon as you select that location and before you pay (hint). There are some litter bins there too. The only let down is the lack of a tap for cleaning out the cassette and one for fresh water. The has been one installed outside before but possibly abused.

  • 4/5

Great park up for £5. Didn’t use the toilets (forgot the code). Note the code when you pay for parking as you can’t find it on the app later. Only down side is it is very dark so if you are going to use toilet or retuning to your van late you will need a light.only half full but can imagine it gets very busy in summer. Will definitely stay again. Thanks

  • 5/5

I wish other places would take note of this motorhome up. £5 for the night toilets and facilities plenty of other campers there too. Also small cafe next to the carpark

  • 5/5

Just has it should be, nice and quiet. Lucky to get a place as it’s was very busy. Didn’t use the facilities, just visited the tackle shop. Great for an overnight. £5 via the app, good work by the council to have the open mind and foresight to accommodate motorhomes like this, lot of councils could learn a thing or two. Will be back for the fishing

  • 5/5

What an absolute gem, it great to see a local council developing sites like this to develop more tourism. Stayed here for 2 nights on the 13th/14th whilst fishing from the coast guard station and estuary. Brilliant little tea stop and fishing tackle shop just on the beach front. We will definitely be back in the near future, just keep it clean and tidy and we won’t lose it like so many others.

  • 5/5

we have been many many times over the past 2 years, and loved it, we have had no problems, with the installation of toilets/sluice room its been made alot better staying the 3 nights, also there are more side lots for motorhome (brilliant) keep up the good work I really wish more councils would look at doing more for us

  • 5/5

awesome spot , £5 , didn't get code to toilets for some reason , just had 10 min chat with local copper , he said the council are trying to boost the area and to be honest they are heading in the right way , hopefully other councils will take note , walk to lifeboat station area and grab a tram to blackpool around £6.50 and can use ticket all day prob bit over half hour journey but so easy ,

  • 5/5

Absolutely brilliant place!! £5 for 24hrs. Elsan and toilet with code once you park on the Ringo app. Had a good night's sleep, everyone respectful and chilled!

  • 5/5

Really good car park, definitely gets 100% full in good weather, for £5 for 24 hours cannot complain! Toilets onsite.

  • 5/5

very good parkup for only £5 for 24hrs. toilets and cafe on site

  • 5/5

Back again but with upgrades, got toilets with elsan sluice, u get code for bogs when u pay for parking on Ringo App, big high five to local council for the upgrades, defo come back, lev nowt behind, just back for 1 night as its now £7.50p a night, 50% rise please don't get like Lytham St Ann's (greedy),

  • 5/5

Well done to a forward thinking council. The provision of a black waste disposal point is much appreciated . However, the provision of a cold tap, to enable flushing of the cassette would greatly enhance the facility. The tap could also be used to fill the water storage tanks of the Motorhomes and campers. A slight increase in the parking charge would cover the water usage.

  • 5/5

Well done Fleetwood, this is how councils should work and add more money to their depleting budgets , arrived 8:30 Saturday evening quite full so ended up staying on the road, Sunday morning moved on here as a good few vans gone, got a nice spot on one of the side spaces ( not as close to next van as the ones in the middle are) quiet night no trouble, £5 paid via app.

  • 5/5

A brilliant parking place for a short stay, great butties from the beach cafe. stayed here a few times and now there is a brand new chemical waste and toilets on site, the code is given when you pay for your parking on the app. Please abide by the rules of no awnings and chairs outside would be a shame to loose this spot. Well done wyre council.

  • 5/5

Almost level car park with designated motorhome spaces. Had a great undisturbed sleep. Toilets near by was closed so had to walk about 20 minutes to the next nearest (opposite a hotel near the RNLI station)

  • 4/5

Thanks to the council for providing these great value areas. Toilets, beach and swimming pool all 2 mins away. only downside was a woman getting out of her motorhome at 8.30am crouching down and urinating. Disgusting behaviour that will spoil it for everyone else when the council ban motorhomes .Too lazy to get dressed and walk 2 minutes to public toilet.

  • 4/5

stayed 28/4/24 biggish car park with cars as well as MH we parked in the middle. paid on-line toilets near beach shops. felt save slept good apart from 2 cars drove round car park at high speed bibing horns. busy car park could hear van doors sliding alot.

  • 5/5

what are fantastic place, stayed here Sunday night to Monday morning with several other campers no issues at all with youths like in the previous comments. very quiet and had a good night's sleep. not really a good view from the carpark but it's only a few seconds walk to the beach. good internet connection, we would definitely stay here again overnight. 5* from us.

  • 1/5

Arrived at Tea time tonight got settled paid fee to the be sitting in Campervan about 8.30 pm and had our van hit with loads eggs which resulted in it being dented by a gang of about 10 youths that then ran onto the beach area discussing behaviour

  • 5/5

Great place to stop. So much quieter than Morecambe. Only 6 vans when we arrived. Really peaceful night. Here for one night £5 for 24 hrs. Had a lovely walk along the beach in the morning and a cuppa at the cafe. Thank you Wyre council a fab addition to the town, more councils should do this. Will definitely be back.

  • 5/5

Stayed for 2 nights- really quiet nights’ sleep- great parkup for only £5/night. 2 of us last night, 8 tonight. Ideal for walk into Fleetwood. Would definitely stay here again.

  • 4/5

Stayed for one night. Lovely and quiet, very sheltered. 16 units here so felt secure. Will use again. £5 for 24 hrs via app.

  • 5/5

Can we thank the Wyre Council for being camper friendly and promoting Fleetwood and the local surrounds. £5 for 24hrs is very generous and much appreciated.

  • 4/5

I had a look at this place with a view to having an early November Saturday stay, however after a quick drive around I decided it was not for me, it’s a little too busy for my liking. Lots of vans and motorhomes were crammed in side by side so I decided to find somewhere else.

  • 4/5

Peaceful night despite it being very windy this is actually a nice sheltered spot - got tram to Blackpool and back - level parking right by beach toilet nearby 40p also a cafe nearby busy in the morning due to park run etc but good to see people out - fleetwood was quite interesting - parts of beach where dogs not allowed

  • 4/5

£5.20 per night max 3 nights cash or app. nearest toilets 200m away 40p next to leisure centre or radar key. quiet and extremely close to the beach. nearest the dunes can flood in heavy rain so park with the door to the inside of the car park. no furniture no BBQs or washing out drying etc which you would expect to find. plenty of space, lots of other vans and all friendly and supportive.

  • 5/5

Wonderful spot. Only £.5.20 per night. Shared spot with 20+ motorhomes.

  • 5/5

Really great spot - only £5.20 to park motorhome for 24 hours and book on app.

  • 4/5

Adequate parking for all size motor homes. 2 quiet nights here. 40p toilets 200m away near leisure centre. All day tram ticket £6.00 15min walk away. Ideal for Blackpool. A little let down by a few individuals setting up chairs.. Tables and stoves despite notice board telling you not to. It is not a campsite. Respect it for all.

  • 5/5

Cracking place right on sea front, toilets just 200 yards, take away food, short walk to town centre, market's on every day, good chippy short walk from carpark, all for £5.10 if u phone number on sign, defo come back

  • 5/5

I gave five stars because it is what it is tells you very limited services but excellent parking and quiet right next to the beach plus dog beach will come back anytime

  • 5/5

Great spot. Quiet and sheltered. Limited services, but well worth a fiver.

  • 4/5

Stayed overnight Easter Sunday council doing spot checks throughout the day, making sure that regulations are not being breached regarding BBQ, table & chairs. Bargain overnight at £5 after paying £15 in St Anne's.

  • 4/5

Stayed one night. No view but protected from the winds from the sea. Large parking bays for our 8m girl. Very clean and albeit quite busy very quiet. Pub across the road, general store 5 mins walk, cafe just off the parking area and lovely seafront walks. Great stop over

  • 4/5

Car park only but toilets nearby. £5.10 per night max 3 nights Pay by phone using RingGo app

  • 2/5

Clean and flat but too many campers/motorhomes for us and no view.

  • 5/5

Cracking spot £5.20 for the night nice and quiet but plenty of motorhomes staying here really good pub across the road and toilets close by

  • 5/5

Just gone up to £5.10 but well worth it. Nice clean beach with 50 yards.

  • 5/5

Excellent park up and sheltered from the wind, entrance is opposite The Mount pub, serves food all day and shows Sky/BT sports. Freeport is within walking distance for outlet shopping and the town centre is even closer. A tram ride into Blackpool itself costs £5 for a return journey, which takes around 40 mins and the trams run every 15mins up until midnight. Will definitely be returning.

  • 3/5

Reasonably quiet spot, sheltered from the usual prevailing gales. Not much to recommend in the town itself but if you arrive early enough, you can get a decent fish and chips in The Ferry Cafe. (closes 5pm), 10minutes walk away.

  • 5/5

Overnight camping allowed. Only £5 a night, however you need to pay via App (charged extra 20p for text) Dedicated spaces for motor homes. Great place to stay over. You feel very safe. You are next to beach. No services. 4G signal ok BT mobile

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Excellent. £5 for the night. Fantastic dog friendly pub across the road. Right next to the beach. Toilets on the front for 30p. Lots of other campers and motor homes on the car park.

  • 4/5

Brilliant stop over. Town 7 mins walk.Great cycle path to Blackpool. Lovely cafe with very friendly owner, good food and prices. Also will fill water for small donation. Pay by phone. All good.

  • 3/5

Stayed here last night, fine spot out of the wind, but no view, would be good if the converted vans and campers could read the road markings and NOT park in motorhome bays, these are for motorhomes only, campers and vans should use the middle, smaller bays. Other than that decent spot with no issues, 37 vans in all last night (Saturday)

  • 4/5

Nice little place currently around 10 mohos and campers here including us. Cafe is open top of the ramp. Even the small moho spaces are huge. £5 per 24 hours via the RingGO App

  • 5/5

Fantastic little spot, quite busy too (with MH & camper vans) 24 hour toilets 200-300 metres away. Beach and green area either side of the parking. Local amenities including café and pub with a 10 minute walk to the town centre.

  • 5/5

Excellent spot. £5.10 a night. Fleetwood has a very interesting history and there’s plenty to keep you occupied for a couple of days. Very busy, however no issues. Good nights sleep. Clean 30p public toilets 5 minutes walk away. Nice pub opposite. Nice beach adjacent. Very nice walk along coast.

  • 5/5

excellent stop over and there's a pub facing which serves food, even on a windy and rain soaked weekend there's 15 motorhomes here at moment

  • 5/5

Fantastic. No issues, more spaces added since our last visit. £5. Jan 2022

  • 5/5

Thank you Fleetwood, great nights sleep on 18/11/21. Even more Motorhome spaces added now.

  • 5/5

Brilliant value at £5 a night, have to pay via Ring’n’go App, very quiet and no street lights, which is excellent for a good nights sleep

  • 5/5

Great place to stay. away from the road and worth the £5 to park up

  • 5/5

Great spot for the price , we are 6.7 m , used a bay unmarked for motorhome on flat . 2 night stay without any problems. £10 , no services . Quiet at night . about 17 of us 29/ 11/ 21 . Great for dog walking . came for illuminations . 5 min stroll into town for tram, £4 each return into central Blackpool . £1 extra for dog ! . Cafe nearby . Indoor Market in town on Saturday.

  • 4/5

Car camped with few other women here. Short walk to beach. Don’t have to pay overnight if in a car. Quiet at night so no disturbed sleep. Cafe n toilets short walk away too. WW member

  • 5/5

Excellent place . Well done fleetwood Council

  • 5/5

Excellent stopover 2 mins to beach and cafe 10 mins to town and pubs no sevices

  • 5/5

Great carpark on the beach. close to town centre and the tram. flat parking but there are rules to follow.

  • 3/5

Right next to lovely beach, beautiful sunsets, close to town. £5.20 charges apply 6pm to 8am. They check often & are hot on fining cars who park in designated motorhome bays although warden said motorhomes can park in any space so long as they fit & pay. Might seem pricey for no services but it’s level ground & safer than promenade roadside where locals let you know you’re not welcome

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night, was impressed until we were woken up at 5am by passers-by on the prom shouting, and I mean shouting and screaming, don't think this will put me off staying again though. Well worth the £5.40 fee

  • 5/5

Nice stay here last night with my daughter. lots of friendly people. bargain cafes with good food less than 2 minutes away. town is 5 minutes walk. Few boy racers pulling up and idling. but the ferry was the noisiest when pulling in. Still 5 star.

  • 5/5

Very quiet night even though lots of motorhomes here over night. Worth the £5 to be away from the main road and literally a stones throw from the beach. Will definitely be staying again. Parking payment is through an app called RingGo and after a surcharge comes to £5.30 for 24 hours.

  • 5/5

Stayed 3 nights £15.30 well done Fleetwood will definitely return

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Very quiet. A few other vans here. £5.40 overnight but you have to pay via the RingGo app. Pretty level spaces. The beach is literally a stones throw.

  • 5/5

Great night sleep an lovely fish an chips down the road

  • 5/5

Excellent place to stop off. nice quiet night bonus cars are free to park from 6.pm to 8am motorhomes just £5quid a night maximum stay 3 nights definitely recommend.

  • 5/5

Great parking. Pay with RingGo app. Some van owners put out chairs; this will spoil it for everyone. If you want to sit out, the beach is only 10m away. Also, although there was space in the car park, vans were parking on the road opposite peoples homes.

  • 5/5

Excellent car park with marked motor home spaces . Doggy friendly beach until 1 st may

  • 4/5

Nice here like others have said and also the locals are very friendly. Rarely any boy racers and no intention to upset visitors.

  • 4/5

Good quiet night. Police patrol. excellent as always.

  • 5/5

Fantastic find. Right on the beach and great flat bike ride to Blackpool. Pub opposite car park.

  • 5/5

Quite area with great views on the beach. had a meal at local pub. Will return

  • 5/5

Excellent overnight parking-there are an additional 2 motorhome parking spaces marked at the end of the car park making 9 in total.

  • 5/5

Brilliant little car park free till 6pm then only £5 to stay overnight

  • 5/5

Stopped here two nights, great stopover public toilets 400yds along the sea front towards Fleetwood, great for walks you can walk or cycle along the sea front foot path along to Blackpool but I would suggest use the tram at £2.10 each way it’s 10 minutes walk from the car park.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 2nights, right on beach front, little hut opens at 9am selling bacon butties etc at end of car park , lovely spot

  • 5/5

    Fleetwood should be congratulated
