Rough surfaced large car park. Free in Winter, cheap in Spring/ Summer. Sloped in the top part so we overnighted lower, by the entrance. Had a peaceful night here and walked into the very pretty town. We even spotted some dolphins in the bay. I can imagine this place being rammed in Summer. This car park is under threat from developers & local businesses have a petition to stop it. Please sign it.

  • 4/5

Plenty of space. Quiet. £6/24 hours payable by card at the machine. Short walk into town. Cute village.

  • 5/5

£6 for 24 hours, no restrictions, is great value for this area. A few minutes walk down to to the beautiful village and bay. If this carpark had services we would have stayed for a few days.

  • 2/5

Parcheggio in pendenza senza servizi, comodo per visitare la baia.

  • 4/5

£3 for 12 hours, or £6 per 24hrs. Unmade car park, some level ground. No overnight restrictions I could see. Good spot for a self contained overnight stay. Good pubs/ restaurants in the village, though a steep walk back up the hill.

  • 5/5

We had two lovely nights here. You can stay up to 7 days, with multiple returns allowed. It only takes 10 min to the beach and the harbour and there are plenty of parking spots. No sign which says: overnight parking is forbidden. We would come back. New Quay is a lovely little town.

  • 4/5

  • 3/5

We’re here as I write this. It’s very difficult to find a level spot, and it’s also very dusty. Cars parked for the day have a thick layer of dust on them. The town is quite interesting, steep downhill walk from where we’re parked. Not sure I’d come back.

  • 5/5

Good parking, some flat spaces, only cash, 3£ for 12 hours 6£ 24 hours with multi entries, 21£ for 7 days. The people who say you can't stay overnight are owners of Airbnbs and don't like campers. There's no sign that says you can't stay overnight.

  • 5/5

Très grand parking où il est facile de s’y garer. Attention il est en pente sur une grande partie. Il n’y a pas d’interdiction de dormir la nuit sur les panneaux. Nous y avons passé une nuit calme avec une dizaine d’autre camping-cars.

  • 3/5

I don't believe overnight is allowed now as local told me. They have a petition going to stop housing association (owners) from building 50 houses. Which could have a detrimental affect on the town as its the cheapest and best car park.

  • 5/5

Simple carpark without services but perfect for what it is: offers easy walking access into the village for dolphin spotting. Public toilets a few minutes walk away.

  • 5/5

Big car park split into 3 sections, £6 for 24hrs. nice and flat no levellers needed, loads of space, plenty of room for small vans or big long motorhomes, short walk down to the beach.

  • 5/5

Brilliant find, exactly as everyone else has described. Coming into New Quay on the B4342, turn left after the Costcutter shop onto Towyn Road, this massive carpark is immediately on the left. Payment is at the machine, contactless once you've put your registration number in. There are signs all over town with QR codes to sign the petition online. Without the carpark the whole town will struggle

  • 4/5

Great quiet night stay in a level in areas car park ,no facilities but close walk to town and toilets about 0.3 mile walk and only £6 for 24hrs what a gem

  • 5/5

we stayed here 28th June please sign petition to save this carpark

  • 5/5

we've used this parking many times to visit New Quay, although a bit uneven it has been a fantastic resource. It looks like this site is now being developed into housing, and signs say there will be no access after 16 June sadly.

  • 4/5

Huge area, very cheap, some flat areas and great access to the seafront Contactless card payment only

  • 4/5

Great stopover. £6 - 24hrs card payment. Signposted for motorhomes back of car park on left. Short walk into pretty town/harbour. WC near harbour (40p card entry). Shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants. Small supermarket outside car park on right has everything including newspapers. Site sloping, manageable with chocks. Woodland walk at back corner. Quiet night, only 5 other motorhomes.

  • 4/5

Stayed here one night in our new-to-us camper. It was our very first night in a van, so it was a little difficult to judge it against any other spots. What I can say is that the parking was great. Only £6 (coins only) for 24 hours, close to a shop, and there were some toilets a short walk away. We enjoyed a boat trip and visited a few of the pubs in the night. The place and the people were great.

  • 5/5

Brilliant park up, stayed one night but many campers had been there for a few nights. £8 for 24 hours. NEED £1 coins for the machine. Plenty of space, on a slope so you will need chocks. Small woodland behind for walking the dog. Walking distance into Newquay and the beach. Shop at the entrance of the car park. No services or facilities.

  • 2/5

Ok for one night, steep. The area for motorhomes and campers is clearly stated. Just another odd parking area.

  • 5/5

Love it here been many times as only 5/10min walk to lovely places to rest/eat/drink & can take dogs with u . Does cost £8 for 24hrs & not flat so need chocs

  • 4/5

Make sure to have 8 £1 coins, costcutters has signs up saying they don't give change. Need blocks as nowhere flat. Lots of other vans and motorhomes. Great spot and a short walk to bars, cafes and restaurants.

  • 5/5

Heute anscheinend kostenlos - Automat funktioniert nicht. Sehr schiefe Ebene - linke Fläche (westlich) etwas weniger schräg.

  • 5/5

Great stopover at the top end of New Quay. £8 for an overnight stay, and it is patrolled by the local council. You must have 8 £1 coins for the ticket machine. This is a beautiful little setting that's worth driving out, too. Boat trips to see dolphins, some great places to eat. If self-sufficient, the local butcher does some amazing meaty products.

  • 4/5

Great stopover , site is on a slope. We were lucky that the parking ticket machine was out of order so a free stopover.

  • 5/5

Good quiet night. You must bring 8 x £1 coins for the machine

  • 5/5

Great stop over, you need £1 coins to pay the machine and a lot of shops in the village are not willing to give you change even if you buy something so bring your own from outside the village. Apart from this it's a great park up, very quiet and no bother from anyone. New Quay is a lovely fishing village with little walks and lovely shops. Worth a stopover and a look around

  • 4/5

stayed 1 night. Great spot, ground was soft and uneven but it didn't bother me and we didn't have ramps! 5 min walk into town for the beach, shops, cafe and restaurants. lovely seaside town, even managed to spot some Dolphins! definitely recommend and will also return

  • 2/5

Black/grey deep mud in mid March. Extremely muddy and sloping. for £8 for 24 hours, a gravel surface would vastly improve this facility.

  • 4/5

Perfect spot for motorhomes stay over, felt very safe, peaceful quiet nights sleep (out of season now) some of the car park is on a slope, but we found nice flat spot, was only one other van when we stayed, £8 for 24 hrs but must have £1 coins for the machine. Walk to town is a few minutes, and it’s so lovely with nice little cafes to eat.

  • 4/5

Great spot close to town. The main parking area is up a considerable slope though and was quite muddy when we stayed in February. Still a good stopover and would use again.

  • 5/5

An excellent find. Nice to stay somewhere that feels safe & welcomes you to stay overnight. Loads of spaces and only a 5 min walk to seafront and lovely town with clean public toilets ect (open 9am-6pm) Out of season was lovely & quiet. In the day we drove down to seafront to have a view with our tasty fish & chips. Please respect this stop so they keep welcoming us happy campers! £8 in £1 coins

  • 5/5

Absolutely spot on. Arrived late on a Friday, out of season. Had 2 great days and 2 nights parking for £8 for 24 hours. You’ll need coins. There is a shop at end of car park and a dog friendly pub opposite. Thought it might be noisy on both nights being by a couple of pubs and an Indian restaurant, but it was actually very quiet all night on both Friday and Saturday. Would revisit if in that area.

  • 4/5

Atleast 30 spaces for motor homes at the top of carpark. Still £1 coins only for £8 overnight fee. Great location at the top of the hill into the town and harbour. Toilets close by. Bottom and top of the slope we’re best for level ground.

  • 4/5

Grosser Privatparkplatz, Overnight erlaubt für WOMOs 8£ Bezahlung am Automaten nur mit 1£ Coins.

  • 2/5

Great parking spot, if you have coins. Nowhere to get the £1 coins needed for parking.

  • 4/5

A good, quiet place for the night. £8 BUT £1 COINS ONLY. Moho's park only in the upper area which has a bit of a slope but good ballast surface. Looks like they are investing some money in it.

  • 4/5

Tolle Lage. -Fjell-

  • 4/5

We paid £8 and stayed overnight. It’s very quiet at night. Beautiful village to visit and relax.

  • 5/5

Great large parking area for motorhomes and campervans at the top of the car park. £8 for overnight parking, £1 coins only. The ticket machine was broken when we arrived and nobody manned the pay both so we had two nights for free. A great safe and peaceful couple of nights close to the centre and beach of New Quay. Highly recommended.

  • 3/5

Close to town. Steep drive to top car park area for motorhomes. Very potholed! £6 for day parking. COINS ONLY!

  • 5/5

Stayed here 11th February - There was a House party in nearby house which was a bit loud, but quiet by 11pm. Lovely peaceful night, with just the sound of birds. 5 minute walk (down a steep hill) to the seafront where there are toilets if needed. Pub and shops close by.

  • 5/5

Excellent spot, small sign saying Motorhome can stay the night..must also park where the sign says, little bit on a slope, and as mentioned you need £1 coins only, £8 for-the night, Newquay a lovely place pubs close by then a walk down the hill to the harbour.

  • 3/5

Good place to park had a good night sleep very quiet machine only takes pound coins £8.00

  • 4/5

lovely and safe spot for the night.

  • 4/5

Great little spot in New Quay. Not secire as such but felt nice and safe with a few other vans there. Shop near by that sold basically everything. No toilets or water but public facilities not far. Main downside was the fact it was sloping.

  • 5/5

What a bargain at £8! Location is perfect to explore. We had a very peaceful nights sleep. Will return!

  • 5/5

Guys. Eight quid per night. It was quiet and secure place to spend a night by a fantastic New Quey just down the hill. I would definitely be coming back here next time I am around this area.

  • 4/5

Great location, spent 3 nights walking the coast path and watching dolphins in the harbour. Bus stop close to entrance or by surgery at bottom of Church Rd where there are free toilets. Very friendly staff when manned. Need coins outside hours of 9am - 4pm. £8 overnight. Recommend fish & chips from Mariners followed by ice cream from Crem Pen Cie around corner.

  • 4/5

Stayed for the night last week and for £8 it's great. 4g is perfect and just a little walk to shops and sea front. Definitely will stay again

  • 4/5

Not very flat but plenty of room and a short walk to the town. Great for an overnighter.

  • 5/5

Great place to stay £8 for 24 hrs a a great little town on a nice day, can’t wait to come back.

  • 4/5

Great location fully haste free £8 above the little fire station. From a coin machine. And two pubs within two hundred meters . Village is Dylan Thomas Under Milk Wood. Coastal path north.

  • 3/5

Not a bad spot - lots of space to park up and the attendants are friendly and easy going. 5-10 min walk down the beach with a corner shop close by and multiple pubs, cafes and fish and chips spots. Considerable slope in the parking spots however and the ground can get very messy when raining so expect to drag it all in to your camper. No reliable signal either however I’m on 3 network.

  • 4/5

arrived around about 1am couldn’t pay for parking as the machine was covered over…. Next morning still the same so went on a boat trip came back and paid some young lads on our way out. Good car park only problem was it was abit noisy with the ambulances in the night but we parked very close to that… you could easy park the other side of the car park

  • 4/5

We stayed here last night. Rolled up around 9ish a few other motorhomes here nice a quiet and on a slope but easy sorted with chokes. Walked straight down to the harbour but just missed the sunset, but we stood on the harbour watching the dolphins that were about 10m away from us. £8 for 24 hours is good so we get to spend the day here as well.

  • 4/5

It's a car park. But if you fancy staying in a car park it's as nice as you'll find. Only complaint is that it's all on a slope. Don't forget your ramps. Is £8 a bit steep? It's not bad for Britain but if they added water and waste it would be an Aire. Check out the 'Campra' Web site.

  • 4/5

Had 1 night here, feels safe. Very quiet. Several other motorhomes here. Sloping so you will need ramps. Few mins walk to shops pubs restaurants and beach. Bins just outside parking area.

  • 4/5

Great stop 10 minutes to the beach slightly slopping but great little stopover no water or waist

  • 4/5

Stayed 1 night had a really peaceful sleep..... few other vans in .... no noise at all....... nice walk down to pubs and beach it's £8 for 24hrs bit on the dear side being there isn't even a toilet but if you have your own you will be fine

  • 5/5

Spent the night here last night and am very happy, most cars left the carpark by 8pm and was just me and another van in the carpark. they have a separate area for campers/longstay you don't get disturbed by traffic in the morning so had a nice quiet stay.

  • 4/5

Good view, uneven but plenty of room. Prepare for an uphill walk back.. You can overnight park here..

  • 4/5

Loads of spaces as long as you don't mind the uneven pitch

  • 3/5

Nuit calme enfin un parking ou dormir est autorisé, pas de service mais très joli port et plages à proximité, commerces et balades en mer, voir les dauphins, prix abordable 16 pounds pour 2h en bateau

  • 4/5

Great Spot. £8 for 24 hours. Close to beach and shops. Not level so need levelling ramps. Highly recommend.

  • 4/5

Loads of space motorhome £6 or £8 overnight

  • 4/5

£5.80 for 24hrs. Quiet mid week night, two Motorhomes here, toilets are seasonal. Sloping pitch. Steep walk into town/beach.

  • 3/5

Bon emplacement. Aucun service. Réception GSM fluctuante. Bonne réception de la télévision.. // Good location. no facilities. mobile signals up and down. tv reception good.
