Looked lovely and owners very friendly however were unable to access car park due to angle/steepness, 6.9m & 3.5 t
Le pub Queen's Head. Heureux que nous restions sur le parking car nous mangions au restaurant. Pub confortable, service sympathique et bonne nourriture.
The Queen's Head pub. Happy for us to stay in the carpark because we were eating in the restaurant. Cosy pub, friendly service and good food.
Die Queen's Head Kneipe. Sie waren froh, dass wir auf dem Parkplatz waren, als wir im Restaurant aßen. Gemütliche Kneipe, freundlicher Service und gutes Essen.

thelittleredbus22/10/2025Stayed for free after eating delicious, home cooked meal in pub. Slope up into car park, fine for vans or smaller motorhomes. Lovely friendly owner and staff, local beers. Nice walking area for dog owners. Treated ourselves to cooked breakfast too, honestly best we’ve had in years. Hope to return one day, fully recommend.
Ely7418/08/2025Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e pagato il giusto, ma se mangi non paghi niente. Pochi posti in piano nel parking dietro il pub ma molto silenzioso e tranquillo.Non prende il telefono ma c e il wifii del pub gratis.

Lovely pub with large car park in the back. Came on a March evening and found the fire going and a nice home cooked meal. This winter they were offering 50% off food as a “winter warmer” special which was a nice surprise. The staff were lovely and had no problem with us parking overnight when we asked. The area was super quiet and we awoke to the sounds of birds.

A fantastic stop over with great food,fantastic beer, courteous, friendly and incredibly helpful landlady and staff. oh the breakfast next day was fantastic too. hope to make this a regular stop on our trips to Yorkshire!!

looks like a nice place but couldn't make it in to the car park as the entrance is very steep and the towbar was grounding. 7.4 meters Autotrail scout

Very friendly pub; staff and customers all chatted. Said I could park in the private, quiet, secluded car park if I ate there. Meal was incredible! Lovely village. Great access to Harrogate

Free parking in the car park in exchange for a meal in the pub. Dog friendly, quiet roads nearby good for dog walking, great food they even do a nice breakfast in the morning.

Had a lovely welcome here - called ahead to check and they said no cost to stay if we ate in the pub. We ran late and they were so gracious and said we could eat in the van as our son was needing to sleep, and allowed us to bring plates and glasses out. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay, I would advise leveling ramps, although I stayed without! felt very welcome by the owners. Very close to Harrowgate & knaresborough, the pub itself is in a great setting & they do open early for a breakfast which was delicious.

Stayed for one rainy night in September 23. Got there late but had pre-arranged with the pub and not a problem Concrete, mostly level car park with lots of space, no toilets after pub closes Had a full English breakfast there in the morning which was freshly cooked

Super restaurant rien que pour ça déjà ça mérite le détour. Propriétaires très sympathiques. Nourriture excellente. Nuit paisible malgré un parking en pente. Nous étions sur une place à plat. Le petit village est charmant

Quiet night; good food; friendly staff. Sloping carpark but didn't bother with chocks. Lovely village with Dales walks nearby. We ate in the restaurant so free.

lovely friendly family run pub in tranquil setting. Great food and they also do B B, so breakfast is available if required. no charge for parking overnight. 10/10.

Very welcoming,Great place free for the night if having a meal.Food was good as was the beer.Total silence all night will definitely be back.
