Good place to stop over if you’re visiting the Castle. Just room for two 7m vans. Shops, pubs and toilets nearby. Wedges required if you want to be totally level. Short walk to castle and riverside. Right on the road side but very quiet at night.
Rustige plek in het bos naast de weg, 's ochtends wat verkeer. Plek voor twee campers. Op een vuilnisbak na, geen faciliteiten. 's Nachts heb je af en toe licht van het huis op de heuvel vlakbij. Vlak naast een prachtige rivier, waar je direct naartoe kunt afdalen. Er ligt een wandelpad naast voor een prachtige wandeling! Dichtbij het dorpje, pub en restaurant en Blair Castle op loopafstand.
We checked this Place again and actually it is NOT a pacing place! The sign for single road with pacing places starts behind this place and there is also a bin for rubbish. Maybe only 2 Campers can park there to give others still the chance to pass.
Definitely a passing place. We checked it out but drove to a different spot just out of town. If two big vehicles have to pass they would struggle if you park here.
Good lay-by spot. Two 6 mtr vans there when we stayed. Busy little road till 8 or 9 pm then very quiet till 8am. Close to woods, fairly level too. Very handy for village and its facilities.
