Super schöner und ruhiger Platz für eine Rast oder zum Übernachten. Der food-truck ist jeden Montag da und verkauft leckeres, lokales Essen.

Lovely quiet night spent here. Nice flat hardstanding with shady spots under the trees. Recycling bins to leave the place clean so we leave no trace ;-) Very little road noise. Plenty of room for 6m motorhome. Food van here on Monday selling sausage and mash and apple pie.

Superb stopover if heading south/north. Lots of vans when I arrived lateish. Some inconsiderate noise late on from other van folk but much like some campsites. Flat and shade if required.

Lovely quiet stopover. Arrived late, only vehicle here. Plenty of space, right next to the river. Lots of birdsong. Felt safe. Passing traffic in the morning.

It has been a very wet day so car park muddy… everything is muddy. Just one of those days. It feels a safe park up. Some road traffic, ok for a one night stopover

Good little spot with plenty of space. Refuse centre for all wastes was handy. And a launching point for access to the river. On a Monday night Barugh Cottage Produce have a food van here selling bangers & mash and also apple crumble. We had both and they were soooo good! Three has okay signal, vodaphone has better.

Nice park up , plenty of bins , good walks across the bridge when we stayed a local food trailer arrived with great food

Quiet at night, but busy during the day. Very nice surroundings for a short break, if you cross the bridge there's an amazing ancient oak tree, with a wonderful view of the old bridge. We climbed the tree and took a nice cold morning dip in the river before moving on. Also great fishing spot.

très joli endroit, calme la nuit. nous y avons dormi une nuit. bon à savoir : le camion poubelle passe à 6h15 le jeudi matin et vide les 15 containers présents derrière, cela nous a réveillés tôt ! sinon super spot!

superb little stop for the night. Us and another friendly camper tonight. go across the bridge, and you can get down to the water for a swim. lovely and quiet, a few cars, but listening to the water is glorious

Very nice spot. 6 vans when we were there (A Saturday night) which I do worry might start to annoy locals if they have no space to park in the mornings, so try to make sure there is always space

A large lay-by with a recycling point. I was the fifth vehicle to arrive at about 10pm, and another arrived shortly after me. I’d say six might be the limit. It was nice and quiet all night. I never noticed the road at all. A van from the National White Water Centre turned up at 0830 and made no effort at all to be quiet when dismounting his raft, in fact, it felt like he was trying to be as loud as possible. I didn’t mind. I just stood and watched while I had my tea.

Stayed summer 2023. Really nice. Right by river, accessible off small jetty or a stone beach on the other side of the bridge. Nice for swimming when it's hot! Picnic benches on grass right next to parking. Recycling area on one side of car park. Lovely views from the picnic area. Quiet at night, car park got very busy in the morning with canoes. Good for a pleasant overnight stopover.

Es waren abends ein paar jugendliche da als Treffpunkt, diese waren aber eher ruhig. Hatten eine super Nacht dort, sehr ruhig und geschützt. Genung Platz ist auch vorhanden.

Arrived late with a large motorhome, plenty of space, we were the only vehicle there. only reason for a 4 star is the road noise which wasn't too bad but also not great to head out and walk the dogs... still would recommend for travellers near by.

All good, had a local knock the door and claim the carpark floods and we should go elsewhere, I checked all the relevant government sites (I actually do live in a flood risk area) and no warnings for this area....Nimby Karen strikes again.....

A very peaceful spot. Road gets noisy from 7am. Great views of the river.

Had the car park to myself from 7pm. Very peaceful and had a good nights sleep. Car park got busy just before 9am with canoeists arriving.

Lovely spot, signal was meh but there's lots of wildlife around to keep you busy. The main road was quiet overnight, and with some good ear plugs I couldn't hear a thing. One other camper and one person dropping rubbish, that was it. theres a green area with picnic tables on, too.

stayed on a Monday night. Very peaceful, just a few dog walkers, paddleboarders, or people dropping off recycling.

Posto piccolo ma carino,abbiamo passato una notte senza disturbi nonostante la strada vicino. C’è posto per 4 o 5 camper non di più.

Wonderful little spot. plenty of room for even large motor homes. Nice little grassy area with picnic tables overlooking the River Eden and steps going down to the water to launch from. Busy with people using the river during the day but peaceful all night. It is the local recycling point so there will be lots of coming and going during the day.

Endroit paisible, quelques voitures passent sur la route derrière mais pas de quoi déranger. Nous sommes arrivés vers 20h30, il y avait déjà un autre camping car , mais assez de place pour tout le monde. Les enfants ont pu jouer, se dégourdir les jambes sur l'air de picnic pendant que nous prenions notre bière face à la rivière.

Es un parking que la gente lo usa para bañarse en el río , por las mañanas salen de ahí una empresa de piraguas. Dormimos muy bien , solos no había nadie más . muy tranquila la carretera. A las 6am vino el camión de la basura ya que es una zona de reciclaje pero fue rápido . Hay mesas de picnic donde desayunamos nosotros .

Nous sommes restés une nuit, le lieu est très calme, les tables de pique nique sont disponibles avec une belle vue sur la rivière. Quelques promeneurs mais personne ne nous a dérangé. Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit. Il y a un pub très sympa dans le village après le pont (10/15 minutes à pied).

lovely quiet spot next to the river. picnic benches in the small grassy area next to the car park. easy access even with a large motorhome. postcode will send you to fiddlers Lane, ignore that, its just before the river bridge on the main road below the village.

Really quiet and no issues although did get woken up by the binmen emptying all the bins at 5am

Lovely and peaceful spot to park for the night. 2 other vans but plenty of space. Small green area with picnic benches on the riverside. There’s a small village with a co-op and pubs. Recycling area but no general waste bins.

Great spot just set back from the road with access to the river. Had a quiet and peaceful night.

Very nice spot to stay overnight, not too farm from the main road. Easily accessible and plenty of room to turn a 6 bed motor home round in. If you like geese honking at 5am this is your spot!

Great view, Fish and chips van arrived Thursday 4.30pm till 7pm Highly recommended Just finished fish and chips and were absolutely brilliant

Superb spot. Near village. Didn’t stay overnight but I will. Imagine it’s quiet at night but a road is nearby.

Lovely spot by the beautiful river Eden. Just been in the river with my Kayak. Nice little 'garden area' with 2 pub style benches overlooking the river. Loads of bins for your rubbish. Would recommend for a stopover.

Beautiful spot. woke up to a class of kayakers talking outside the van at 9am (this was a Saturday) I parked up in pitch black and was blocking their entrance to the river so avoid parking next to the steps!

Nice spot. Quiet night although it's quite close to the road. Lovely view across the river. Wi-fi not so good. but phone signal perfect.

Lovely village and walks . it is as recycle point but room for small motorhomes or campervans

We stayed for one night in early October 20 without any problems. Very peaceful carpark next to the river.
