Wir haben hier zwei ruhige Nächte verbracht. Alles hat gut funktioniert. Die sanitären Anlagen sind veraltet, aber sauber und warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Würden wieder hier her kommen.

Lovely place just outside Dublin. A little green oase with nice spots. We called one day before to make a reservation. Call the same number when arriving and they will open the gate. The toilet building and showers are outdated, but will be replaced this winter.

Ich war erst ein wenig abgeschreckt, weil man zur Reservierung anrufen muss, aber wir haben es nicht bereut. Am Telefon wird alles kurz erklärt, dann bei Ankunft nochmal anrufen, damit die Schranke geöffnet wird. Vor Ort legt man das Geld in einen Umschlag (Überweisung geht auch). Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Mit unserem Minicamper standen wir auf der Wiese. Sanitäranlagen etwas älter.

The one star review below is totally incorrect, neither near a motorway, nor the airport. Obviously these people are reviewing a totally different site. Remember, this place is ADULTS ONLY. Don't book it if you have kids with you. Especially don't then leave a totally fake review if you are turned away because you arrive with kids having ignored this.

Lovely site with great host. The previous review, complaining it was overbooked is a total lie. They had paid for 2 adults, but arrived with 2 kids. Host explained it was an adults only site and even showed them that on their reservation. Instantly fully refunded.Now they make up lies knowing the owner cannot respond. We recommend this site to everyone, its an oasis of calm.

Ce camping a fait du surbooking, nous avions payé et une fois arrivé sur place, le gérant nous a d’abord dit de nous installer où bon nous semblait puis il est revenu nous voir en nous disant qu’il n’avait finalement pas de place… Camping « écolo », mais proche d’autoroute, et aéroport. Je déconseille fortement

5 stars for beauty & views. 5 stars for owner who was very friendly and kind.The bathrooms & showers bring the place down as they are run down and a bit smelly(septic tank?) they are clean though, but could do with a modernisation/painting.

Stayed here 5 nights in July and loved it! The host David was very helpful, ferrying us to the bus stop to get to Dublin( saving 16 min walk).The Dublin bus cost €5.60 return. The key enjoyment was the natural surroundings & just sitting watching the wildlife on the lake. The facilities are basic & dated but perfectly adequate, there is some traffic noise but it blurs out. 1/2 hr from the ferry!

Très bel emplacement, verdoyant, agréable pour se poser une nuit. Mais! Les sanitaires, wc et douches sont dans un état déplorable. Depuis combien de temps n'ont ils pas été nettoyés ? C'est pareil pour le vidage des eaux ''grises'' et le vidage des eaux ''noires''. C'est vieux et sale. Quel dommage de gâcher un aussi beau site! C'était le 03/07/25 qu'on y a passé une nuit. Très bon accueil, nous sommes arrivés après 20h et Dave nous a gentillement ouvert la barrière à distance. Plusieurs emplacements au bord du lac. Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit au calme. L'état des sanitaires est un peu vieillissant avec quelques douches hors service mais une eau chaude et un bon débit.

A stunning park with an amazing host, we stayed here with our roof tent and it was so nice we really enjoyed it. Such a peaceful place with beautiful wildflowers and greenery. Beautiful scenic walks and trails on site, homemade honey and fresh eggs available on site too. Highly recommend to anyone. It being adults only was great too and has all the facilities you need.

En liten og veldig hyggelig voksen-plass. Boende må være over 18 år. Kan KUN bestilles på nettsiden for å få kode til å åpne bommen. Ligger i ingenmannsland, men det er klippet hyggelige stier i gresset rund de ulike tjernene som gir fin turopplevelse. Sanitæranlegget er så som så, men gjør jobben sin. Ubehagelig varmt vann i dusjen…. Sanitæranlegget gjør at jeg gir 4 stjerner, men stedet er topp!

Lovely quiet space. Very safe. Nice spaces for hookups or camp in beautiful grass area and use extension cord to reach power. Some noise from road but slept great. Good facilities to dump waste. Showers and bathrooms were older but clean and water was hot making for a lovely shower! Great place to park and pack up for a last night before returning campervan to Dublin. Under 30 min to airport.

We didn't stay here but phoned up Dave to see if we could refill our water and get rid of the black and grey waste. Paid €10 which is quite reasonable and just what we needed. We would like to have stayed but had to get to Wicklow Mountains.

Ein guter Campingplatz kurz vor Dublin. Der Empfang ist sehr anonym. Zettel ausfüllen und das Geld in den Briefkasten werfen. Wir standen eine Nacht. Die Anlage mit Wiese und kleinem See ist sehr chic. Die Toiletten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber ok. Duschen waren in einem Container. Es waren 2 Duschen geöffnet. Leider nicht geheizt. Sonst war der Service völlig ausreichend.

Et meget flot sted, dog er det ærgerligt at ankomme til hvor der står på bruserne at de er" out of order" men der er ingen pris reduction.

Prices changed to 30€ per night +5 for electricity, also payment only in cash here. Place is quite beautiful though and well placed, if a bit noisy.

Camping dans la nature même si c'est à proximité de l'autoroute, superbe parc. Douches : plus d'eau chaude le matin ! Il faut appeler avant d'arriver pour s'assurer d'avoir une place et pour que le propriétaire puisse ouvrir le portail à l'arrivée. Paiement en espèces (30 euros pour un van avec 2 personnes + 5 euros si besoin d'électricité). Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce lieu.

Close to Dublin & the airport, beautiful lake and nature all around. Bird song all around. 1km walk around the lake. Only negatives are background road & aircraft noise from the motorway and Dublin Airport (owner can’t do anything about that) and the facilities do need updating around the lake and toilet block. No hot water in push button showers and only worked for 1 min. So no shower ☹️

What can I possibly say about this place apart from (serenity ) absolutely loved it , the grounds are to die for and to explore is a must , the birds singing in the morning was amazing, slept like a baby, owner was very pleasant and helpful, I decided to park on the grass as it was closer to the lake ,

Un peu cher pour la qualité des services. Calme malgré la proximité de l'aéroport et de l'autoroute...

Propriétaire très gentil. Beau camping tranquille. Les installations sont vieillissantes, mais tout est propre. Par contre il n’y a pas de wifi contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans la description.

€10 to use the services if you're not spending the night. Dave let us dump our black and gray water, garbage, and take showers, all for only €10! it's a peaceful, beautiful place. we'll definitely be back to spend the night when we're in the area. don't let the little lane you turn into scare you. it's only a short distance.

We passed by Meath Eco Park for facilities. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Charged €10 for all services. Couldn’t stay but seems like a lovely place: a lake, dog-friendly, large area to walk around…. Only downside would be the noise of the highway and airport nearby.

Splendido posto per sostare. Tutto ciò che serve. Pace e silenzio in mezzo alla natura.

Grounds of this park lovely and pleasant to walk around. Dog friendly. Environment spoiled by noise from the adjacent motorway and planes from airport. Park in a very poor state and in particular the toilets and showers are dirty and decrepit. The electric supply was very limited - fridge, charge a couple of phones and lights then the water pump will trip the supply. Now 25E +10E for all day EHU

Super Areal mitten in der Natur, sehr schön angelegt! Wenn es jetzt noch renovierte Sanitäranlagen geben würde, wäre es tatsächlich ein Traum! Was für ein Glück, wenn man im VAN duschen kann.

Sehr schöner, ruhiger Campingplatz im Grünen. Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht und konnten unser Wohnmobil befüllen/ entleeren. Der Besitzer war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Sanitärbereich macht aber einen heruntergekommenen und schmutzigen Eindruck und hätte dringend eine größere Reinigung nötig. Wohlfühlen war hier leider nicht wirklich möglich.

Ein wunderbares pures Naturerlebnis. Vögel ganz nah beobachten, herrlich dem unterschiedliche Vogelgezwitscher zu lauschen. Einige kannten wir und konnten sie bestimmen, andere nicht. Freundlich Begrüßung. Danke für die Naturnähe und die Ruhe, die wir suchten.

El lugar es fantástico. Cerca de autopista pero apenas se oye ruido. Sí que es verdad que las instalaciones (baños y duchas) son mejorables, pero por 30€ dos personas, una autocaravana y luz, no puedes pedir más. Dave, el dueño, es encantador. Pudimos vaciar aguas sucias y llenar limpias. Volveríamos sin dudar.

We was refused to stay with caravan.

Beautiful place to stay and the owner was super friendly. We stayed one night and we’re able to fill up our water, use the toilet and gray water dumps so it was really helpful. Showers were down when we were there but we were able to shower in our van and top up the water before we left so it didn’t worry us. Thanks Dave for a beautiful first night in Ireland.

Komunikace dobrá, vše v pořádku. Sprchy, wc a prostor pro vypouštění toalety by ale zasloužili více péče. I když jsou sprchy staršího data tak čistota by je zlepšila o 100 %. Voda příjemně teplá. Self check in. Strávili sjme zde noc (11.9.) před odletem a vrácením campervanu.

Dave is a super friendly host. The place is beautiful with lovely walks around the park. Toilets and showers are dated but fine. Peaceful place, one of the best we stayed at in Ireland!

Converted park for kids now a place for fishing and camping. Lovely, peaceful and quiet! Even with the M3 just around the corner and planes flying from/to Dublin. Not too busy and nice walk around the (fishing) pond. Dave, the owner is easy going. Showers and toilets dated and bit smelly but everything is there. Need levelers and (walking) boots.

Äußerst netter Gastgeber und funktionierende Anlagen um Grauwasser und Schwarzwasser auszuleeren. Das Toilettenhäusschen ist ein bisschen heruntergekommen, war aber insgesamt recht sauber. Zum Verlassen/Betreten des Geländes muss telefoniert werden - das ging allerdings problemlos. Spätes Einchecken war möglich.

Petit îlot de nature vraiment charmant… mais sanitaires sales et mal entretenus (on a toutefois eu un prix car pas d’eau chaude pour les douches autrement gratuites). Bruit des voitures mais pas dérangeant. Galère de devoir appeler pour entrer et sortir du site (faut pas être trop pressé). Bonne dernière escale avant de rendre notre camping-car à l’agence de Dublin

Super little aire with everything a motorhome needs. A little difficult to find down a narrow (very quiet) lane but worth it. OK it‘s near the motorway but very little noise, if anybody is disturbed by it they must be super sensitive !! Really good dog walking around the lakes and beyond. Bit of a hidden secret really.

Der Stellplatz ist eben, der Platz sauber. Die Toiletten und Duschen sind indiskutabel - billige Sanitärwagen und sehr schmutzig. Um auf den Platz zu kommen oder wieder aus dem Gelände heraus, muss telefoniert werden. Das hat zwar geklappt, aber ist lästig. Und warum keine Kinder auf den Platz dürfen ist unerklärlich.

Nice spot with a great view on the lakes. Dave is very friendly and helpful. Showers and toilettes had their best time a few years ago, but ok for getting a hot shower. Be aware that you are very close to the M3 (noise), but nothin that ear plugs can’t fix.

Fantastic last night before taking the boat back to Holyhead. Beautiful restful site, relaxed ethos and wonderful environment. We parked on the grass and watched swallows over the fishing lake. Showers are open and all facilities available. Use Google maps to find it, there’s no signage, and ring or email ahead.

Si j'avais pu mettre 0 étoile je l'aurais fait ! Un accueil plus que désagréable et la honte de cette aire: ENFANTS NON ADMIS ! Inadmissible. On voulait juste se poser pour visiter Dublin et laisser le camping-car en sécurité mais non, nous avons des enfants ! Ces personnes ne méritent pas d'être affiché en publicité sur cette application ! Franchement discriminatoire !

This is an excellent motorhome park with electricity on each decent sized pitch. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the bus stop to Dublin. Owner is very helpful and 2 eggs on your doorstep each morning is a nice gesture. Recommended.

Das Gelände ist wunderschön, jedoch ist es keine Camping Site mehr mit Spielplatz. Nun wohnen dort Tiere (Esel, Hühner, Schafe). Die Wohnmobilplätze sind alle mit Strom und mache verfügen über einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Der Besitzer ist super nett. Leider waren bei meinem Besuch die Duschen außer Betrieb und die Sanitäranlagen nicht mehr auf den neusten Stand. Sind jedoch ausreichend vorhanden

Friendly owner who’s super helpful. The service stations are nicely kept and easy to access. There are farm animals nearby which gives the place a cozy feel. We came at night and had to leave early but there were few guests when we were there and we can imagine the beauty this place has to offer at day time. We highly recommend this place and will be coming back hopefully soon.

Well set up motorhome stop with very helpful owner. The lakes are not open to the public at present but the motorhome stopover is. I phoned the number on the Meath Eco lakes website and you are given another number to phone the owner where you can book in. Nice views over lakes from some of the pitches.

Perfect,all facilities present. Quiet and not on top of each other which was great. For adults only. Call before and leave no trace.
