Stayed here for one night , very quiet and comfortable nights sleep, not a lot of passing traffic. The lay-by was empty on our arrival at around 23:00, when we woke there was one other van and a car, no issues at all and would stay again.
Really long layby, narrow but managed to find a fairly level spot next to the hedge. Absolute silent when I pulled up at 1am. Great nights sleep with no other vehicles around. Some light road noise by about 8am, but nothing too disturbing. No bins or amenities, but a good spot for a sleep.
Really nice and quiet spot, great phone signal. Once arriving there were a couple cars around, I read some reviews and someone mentioned it being a dogging spot. The cars didn’t stay long and no one got out etc. there was one older guy though that got out his car eating a pie looking around the lay-by. This could be a spot but has been quite so far.
Stayed last night. Excellent stop to break a journey. Very quiet good view 4g phone signal.
Nice spot, but unfortunately, I stopped on a Friday evening. Doggers are constantly coming and going. Moved on.
Good views over open fields road and lay-by quiet, however you have to walk down road to access public footpath. Also some rubbish and fly tipping in the lay-by. Overall a good place to spot for the night.
