No services here. Nearby shops very convenient for the ferry departing and arrival. Didn’t check in with security and no indication of any charges. For longer vehicles better to park up at the departure gate.

haben hier für die Morgens-Fähre übernachtet. der Carpark ist kostenlos wenn man ein Ticket am Morgen hat. Der Platz ist vor dem CheckIn, d.h man kann ohne Probleme zum Lidl nebenan gehen. super Angebot von DFDS, zumal die Region anfällig für Stau ist, was man wirklich nicht braucht wenn man zur Fähre möchte. es ist aber sehr laut, durch Zug!, LKW, Bus, Schranke....haben nur wenig Schlaf gefunden

Stayed for free in the gravel car park (spoke to DFDS staff in the terminal) the night before our ferry. A bit noisy and bright but great for early ferry. Toilets open all night and were clean.

Brightly lit, no idea how to pay! I first headed to boat as someone said you checked in first. Was turned round and directed to the gravel parking on left as you enter the ferry approach. Parked up, no obvious payment point

Great stop for the ferry in the morning 26.1.24 lady in the terminal said we could park for free. loads of seats and electric sockets in the terminal you could use. a pub within 100m too

Lucky we parked there, as an accident on the A27 meant the whole town was gridlocked, as a result the ferry was almost empty. Didn't sleep well though, complicated road junction, bus stop and railway station are right outside. Lidl is 5 mins walk

turned up at 1pm, went to reception, told me all fine , no parking fee as I am sailing with them tomorrow, security guard turned up 30 mins later and introduced himself. all good.

Very convenient for the ferry as it is right on the Ferry Terminal. Very noisy from very early (4 AM ish) due to a lot of lorry transport. So would recommend going to bed early and be prepared to wake early.

Bien pour une nuit avant de prendre le bateau ou pour une arrivée tardive. Le seul reproche c est bruyant.

Really convenient for the ferry esp if it’s an early start. We parked behind 2 other vehicles in the line for the gate after the last days ferry had left. Loos available in adjacent portacabins were clean. There were also vans in the car park at the ferry entrance but it was by a bus stop and road junction so seemed noisier. Adjacent Lidl too. Free - no-one at the terminal to pay.

Quiet night, toilets available and clean. Perfect for getting on the boat next morning. We didn’t pay as we arrived at 22:00. Not many spaces available.

turned up at 00.30 , place closed, parked up beside another camper. 05.15 security guard knocked on van and insisted I drive down and park in front of check in gate. i explained i was not on ferry till 10am but he insisted and said that was the first ferry anyway. so now parked blocking the check in gate hoping Idon't cause a tailback when I sleep in from being woken up at five am for no reason

Handy for overnight stay before the ferry next morning. We arrived about 21:00, noticed the signs saying to pay £5 in the terminal building office, went over and the ladies behind the desk said no need to pay as getting on the ferry in morning. Some train noise and also trucks moving around, but still got a decent sleep.

Turned up at quarter to 9 in the evening, went over to the office to pay but they said if you're booked on a morning ferry there was no need. Warm seating, WiFi and toilets in the office, think this closes about 11pm.

Brilliant stopover after driving down from NW. arrived about midnight, no guard or toilets open but a relief just to be at port and have a bed for the night.

Cet endroit convient tout à fait quand on a le ferry à prendre le lendemain. Gratuit. Toilettes du Terminal disponibles jusqu'à 23 heures. Personnels du Terminal très sympathiques.

Fine to stay just before a ferry - you can hear the trucks and trains. Toilets open in terminal. £5 cash but we didn’t have to pay at 6pm.

If you are getting a morning ferry from Newhaven this is a perfect spot to sleep for the night. Arrived late so office was closed, checked with the night guard to find out how we pay the £5 for parking but he said we were ok to park for free for the night. Close to the train station so you can hear the occasional train come though but got a decent nights sleep.
