Parking gratuit à côté de la colline « Surprise View » surplombant Otley. Aucune restriction de hauteur. Le pub Royalty est à 5 minutes à pied, Otley est à environ 30 minutes à pied en descendant la colline. De nombreuses possibilités de promenade sur le chevin d'Otley à proximité. Le parking est assez grand mais devient très fréquenté le week-end et vous aurez peut-être du mal à manœuvrer un grand camping-car à ce moment-là. Cela devrait être une halte tranquille en milieu de semaine.
Car park next to ‘Surprise View’ hill overlooking Otley. No height restrictions. The Royalty pub is 5 minutes walk, Otley is about 30 mins walk down the hill. Lots of walking opportunities on Otley chevin close by. The car park is quite large but gets busy on a weekend and you may find it difficult to manœuvre a large Motorhome then. Should be a quiet stop over midweek.

Der Parkplatz ist recht groß, aber am Wochenende ist er voll und Sie könnten dann Schwierigkeiten haben, ein großes Wohnmobil zu manövrieren. Sollte unter der Woche ein ruhiger Zwischenstopp sein.

Ossie5526/11/2022Level car park, free with overnight stopovers allowed. Fabulous views and good for walks. Busy during the day. Handy for park run too, which hubby wanted to do. Nearby pub, but this shut early so we didn’t get to use it. Busy with local youths in cars until 11pm, and hubby heard a couple of cars turn up and leave in the early hours, but we didn’t get bothered by any of them
RHelmn83931/05/2021Fantastic location, unfortunately spoilt by six cars packed with the local brain dead. Loud music and continuous horns, tyre screeching until 23:59. Two lunatics tried to approach the Motorhome parked in an isolated bay but I saw them coming and stood outside the habitation door and they turned back. Final one tried to sneak behind using cover of the trees but he didn’t realise I was stood out in the dark waiting for him as he rounded the rear of the van. He was startled and pretended to be going to the toilet by our Motorhome. As soon as he returned to his friends and they walked away from their vehicles I started up and moved off before they could follow. Might be a one off incident but doubt it.
DrivingDeeDee29/04/2021Parked here for a couple of hours with the intention of staying the night. Would have been great as level at the top of the car park but wifi was quite slow even with our 4g booster and we had work the next day. plus the kids playing music in their cars loudly and running around was a little annoying.
lisaboot11/04/2021Just popped here for a few hours to check it out, although very busy it was a lovely place. Was nice because the icecream van was open. Hope to go soon for a over-nighter.

So many boy racers. One of the loudest, most active car parks during the evening we’ve stayed in.

Stunning view, amazing sunrise. No restriction or barriers, easy to park if you head later on in the evening but busy at weekends during the day. A bit noisy at night with planes and some over-revving speed racers but nothing a few ear plugs can’t solve

A very good surprise indeed! I was there on a Wednesday evening, people walking their dog until nightfall, then it was quiet. Except for the occasional plane taking off, but you can use it as an alarm for the morning ;) Delicious food at the pub, and not too pricey. It was cold in the morning in February, it had snowed a little in the night. Wonderful place !
