Really friendly owners. Space reserved for the day so we had a trip into Lancaster by bus. Walked back on the Lancashire way beside the Lune Estuary. No services when pub closed, must be self contained. Local Walking, cycling and bird watching. Cafe, Smokehouse shop and small convenience store next door

This is a great place to stop-over for the night. We arrived at 9pm on a Thurs evening. The pub was about to close the pub for the night, but they kept the place open, chatted with us about the local history & were happy for us to stop in the car park. The pub is open during the week, is quaint, quirky & beautifully furnished and has lots going on. So check out the website for details re opening.
Wir waren leider auch an einem Dienstag hier und der Pub war geschlossen. Wir wurden trotzdem auf dem Parkplatz begrüßt (auf Grund unserer Katzen) und gefragt ob wir irgendwas brauchen und dass wir jederzeit die Sitzgelegenheiten im Biergarten nutzen können. ACHTUNG, nicht Google folgen, dann steht man in einer engen Sackgasse vor dem Pub. Gleich hinter der Brücke rechts abbiegen.

Exceptionnel ! Bonne bouffe et bière pas chère. Accueil chaleureux et super arrangent. On peut dormir sur le parking si on consomme, appeler avant surtout en week-end.
Bel endroit calme. Malheureusement pas de cuisine le soir en semaine. Je n’ai pas pu déguster la bonne cuisine décrite précédemment. Je confirme tout.
Amazing home cooked food. Recommend the cheese and onion pie and anything with chips! (They are amazing!!) The service is just as good. Really welcoming and homely vibe. Not been in a pub like this for a long time ♡ We stayed over in our van, booked before by calling up, and the owners only asked that we had a meal there... which we absolutely did and will do again.

I popped into the pub for a quick drink, the landlord saw my campervan and was very quick to volunteer that I could stay in the car park (which I did). It is a very friendly pub and a quiet place to stop for the night.
Fantastic family run pub stopover. 5* Service, very attentive and helpful, especially regarding food allergies. 5* Food, you just have to try the Sunday roast and the crumble!! But it is the warm welcome that is 10* We really can't recommend this place highly enough
Outstanding little family run pub. Just back from a 2 night stay. The staff are very welcoming and super friendly the beer is good and the food is even better. Thoroughly recommend as a pub stopover.
A super stop over, we caught the bus into Lancaster for the afternoon and returned for superb food in the friendly pub, had a quiet night too.
Lovely little parkup, we didn't eat but did have drinks and the pub was cosy with lovely welcoming staff. Had booked in advance and been advised a spot would be saved. Pub was quite quiet, but we were in a stormy off season. Would definitely return. Note entrance is by the waterfront, not on the narrow road the satnav points to!
Great place to stop over, with great views over the dock and out towards Heysham! Free to stay if you eat and drink in the pub and book in advance. About 5 campers can get in the car park.
Stayed overnight Sunday. Arrived late afternoon just before they were due to close the kitchen but they made us feel so welcome and we had a superb Sunday roast..one of the best I've had. What a nice spot to stay overnight. The Landlord, staff and locals made us feel welcomed as soon as we entered..what a lovely friendly atmosphere. A definite return to this one.

Absolutely fantastic place! Very close to marina so it’s a good starting point for a walk. The pub is cosy with lovely retro music and dog friendly, We had dinner which was excellent but best of all was the extremely warm welcome we received from the lady bartender. The owner was also most helpful when we had issue with our leisure battery. We will definitely be returning.

Very welcoming pub with delicious food with space for parking your motorhome. The landlord even moved his car, so we could park our motorhome safely overnight, as it was late in the day.
Great! Food and staff lovely as per other reviews. Need to book ahead as car park pretty small. They forgot my booking but still squeezed me in. More of a daytime eating pub than an evening boozer, so not much noise after 10pm and all completely quiet by 11.
We have just spent a lovely stopover at the dog friendly Dalton Arms Pub, Glasson Dock, not far from the M6. Small car park but quiet at night. Staff so friendly, good pub grub and free to stay if you eat in the pub. Canal walks, great for cycling. Cafe and shop around the corner open 7 days a week, even a pizza van on the docks.

Stopped over here on the weekend and what a lovely stop too. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff very welcoming. Nice walks around Glasson too. Level carpark . Very quiet at night . We will return .
