Grand parking avec accès facile. À côté du début des sentiers de randonnée sur le Vésuve. Le restaurant d'à côté avait une excellente pizza et ils étaient très gentils avec nous. Lorsque nous y étions, 2 chiots errants ont été nourris par le restaurant. Ils étaient noirs avec des taches blanches. Si vous le voyez, pourriez-vous le commenter avec une mise à jour? Nous sommes tombés amoureux d'elle et étions tristes de partir.
Large parking lot with easy access. Next to the beginning of the hiking trails on Vesuvius. The restaurant next door had a great pizza and they were very nice to us. When we were there, 2 stray puppies were fed by the restaurant. They were black with white spots. If you see it, could you comment on it with an update? We fell in love with her and were sad to leave.
Großer Parkplatz mit einfachem Zugang. Neben dem Beginn der Wanderwege am Vesuv. Das Restaurant nebenan hatte eine tolle Pizza und sie waren sehr nett zu uns. Als wir dort waren, wurden 2 streunende Welpen vom Restaurant gefüttert. Sie waren schwarz mit weißen Flecken. Wenn du sie siehst, könntest du sie mit einem update kommentieren? Wir haben uns in sie verliebt und waren traurig zu gehen.
Ampio parcheggio con facile accesso. Accanto all'inizio di percorsi pedonali sul Vesuvio. Ristorante accanto che aveva una pizza fantastica ed erano davvero gentili con noi. Quando siamo rimasti c'erano 2 cuccioli randagi che venivano alimentati dal ristorante. Erano neri con le casse bianche. Se li vedi potresti commentare con un pupdate? Ci siamo innamorati di loro ed eravamo tristi di andarcene.

Perfect place to explore Vesuvius park - and crater. Place felt safe - most important to us. Was pretty quiet. Some people coming and going for a hike, nothing bad. Take the yellow 0.45h side to go to the Vesuvius crater. We ended up hiking 6 hours (which was nice but very adventerous).
Ok for one night if you want to go for a hike next morning. Lots of rubbish around, cars coming here to turn around and people coming and going until around midnight when the nearby restaurant closes. Then it gets quiet until maybe 5am when people are coming to start their hikes, runs or bicycle rides.
Bon endroit pour commencer la randonnée. Beaucoup de voiture et parking pleins dès 10h. la nuit c'est un lieu où certaines voitures vont et viennent sans faire trop de bruits mais pas mal de passage jusque 3h du matin.
Parcheggio comodo per iniziare sentiero 1 del Vesuvio fino al gran cono (7 ore a/r). Si consiglia di arrivare verso sera perché si trovano piu parcheggi liberi (il parcheggio ha solo 6/7 posti in totale, non è grande).
Parking du restaurant fermé, nous sommes allés nous garer plus haut mais malheureusement le lieux était très sales et il y avait plein de moustiques... nous avons du repartir 15 minutes après
Samedi soir, beaucoup de passage, très sale. Je ne suis pas restée, un monsieur étant venu m'aborder, j'ai compris que je n'avais pas à être là. Un autre van était présent, il a aussi quitté le lieu.
Un poco inclinado pero pasamos una noche muy tranquila y solos. El restaurante estaba cerrado. Al día siguiente caminamos hasta el monte Vesuvio. Si quieres llegar al cráter tienes que comprar el ticket online por avanzado.
Je vous conseille d'y arriver avant 20h00 car après le parking et complété avec le restaurant. Un gardien très gentil vous place et surveille le parking jusqu'à la fermeture du restaurant. Nous avons commandé pizza a emporter dans le fourgon c'était très bon! Le patron nous a même offert des tapas en plus ! Le lendemain nous sommes grimpé au Vésuve (2h 2h30 pour arriver au check des billets)
Sind von hier mit Komoot den gesperrten weg zum Vesuv gelaufen. Sehr schöne Wanderung. Tagesfüllend und toller kostenloser Parkplatz. Sind aber weniger Parkplatz vorhanden
Pratique pour aller visiter le Vésuve (attention bien prendre les tickets à l’avance sur internet) sans payer de parking. La randonnée dure 2h30 en montée et 1h30 pour redescendre . Aucun service pas connexion internet . Le restaurant à cote n’est vraiment pas recommandé (ni très bon et personnel pas agréable)
Parking parfait si vous voulez faire la randonnée. Nous avons le sentier 1 le Gran Cono en près 6h AR, sans difficulté majeure (Billet grand Cono à prendre en ligne avant). Accès facile si l'on arrive du centre ville d'Ottaviano (bien rester sur la route principale). Le parking est sale, assez animé le week-end mais semble secure (camera ? de la pizzeria, qui d'ailleurs est très bonne.)
Accès pour la randonnée qui monte jusqu’au sommet du Vésuve (il faut environ 2-3h pour arriver au sommet) pensez à bien prendre votre ticket sur internet pour voir le cratère! Nous avons laisser notre van ici pour la rando sans problème! Aucun soucis de vol
Location for hiking is excellent. Pizzas in the restaurant were fab. No problems parking overnight, few level spots but you can get one when everyone else leaves.
A Local man came to warn us about robbers, and said, that we should dreice down and sleep in the city, which we did. Our phones didnt work upthere, and the man told us, it was too isolated.
Haben hier eine Nacht verbracht. Die Pizzeria war sehr busy daher hatte es sehr viele Autos. Haben da gegessen, war sehr lecker. Am morgen hatte es viele Fahrradfahrer und Spaziergänger. Die Nacht war ruhig bis auf ein paar Autos.
Spot facile d acces . situé à côté d une pizzeria . réveil à 6 heures par les groupes de sportifs qui se font la montée du vesuve . attention, les tickets pour le vesuve s achetent uniquement online , donc ayez vos tickets avant les 3 heures d ascension qui vous attendent .
Mit einem VW T3 für eine Nacht unter der Woche. Zufahrtsstraße ist gut, betoniert aber kurvenreich & 10% Steigung. Parkplatz war bei Ankunft bis auf ein Auto leer. Haben dort Pizza gegessen(ab 20 Uhr). Sehr lecker! Spricht keiner deutsch/englisch. Karte auf italienisch, Internetempfang nicht ausreichend um zu übersetzen. Restaurant wurde gut besucht,Parkplatz war abends sehr voll.Nacht war ruhig.

Great spot for walking up Vesuvius (follow the yellow walking route it would eventually lead to ticket office, but it would be several hours of walking to reach it). We stayed 2 nights, on Friday night it was quiet, on Saturday the car park is very busy and has an attendant who helps to park the cars. water tap at the park before the hill. Make sure to take the main road through the town.
Thanks for adding this! Spent quiet night only to one car parking right next to us for couple minutes twice early in the morning. Weird. Also a depressing amount of rubbish everywhere. Great place to start Vesuvius hike. The ticket office on this side of mountain is closed, you have to walk 1km to ticket office at the road & only takes cash. It is not possible to buy ticket at the summit - the whole thing is quite ridicculous really. Buying ticket for a mountain anyway... We saw a pack of dogs with a brown puppy on the way to the parking. :)) Also the navigation will take you via crazy little road - rather approach from Ottaviano.
