stop here for the night in our motorhome. On our way to Duxford. got here about 9:30pm just us and a campervan all to ourselves. don't forget to pay with the app. cost us £3:50 for 24hrs.

Super quiet. The road leading up to is private and has signs - so, don't park there. Keep driving up and the car park at end isn't. Please pay the £3 even if you don't think you need to. It's keeps beautiful places like this accessible for us. In the morning, the bird song was super relaxing. Fantastic coffee roastery that opens at 7am on Saturday very nearby (4 mins drive) - Hot Number

just be aware the car park even this time of the year is busy during the day. by 5pm its very quiet. you do get a few come here late to eat food or do deals.. police do occasionally visit the area as well. still quiet night was joined by 1 other van

Like enough is referred to the access road, where parking is not permitted. You are fine to park in the RSPB car park at the end of the access road.

Stayed in our motorhome for just the night, other than the lack of being able to cycle around the reserve we had zero issues. Out the way, great walk round the park. Ground was flat enough. We left as we found it, would return.

I've spent a couple of nights here on and off this past week. There is a natural composting toilet on site (no chemical disposal). There's plenty of room on level enough ground. Protected by the wind, with trees all the way around. after around 9pm, the carpark becomes empty. unless theres other happy campers. £3 for 24hrs of parking.

Very quiet after midnight. A couple of cars of lads eating fast food but they were quiet enough. Woken at 7am by a lady beeping her horn loudly……but we would still come back. Would be muddy in heavy rain. £3 cash or the app required will charge you £5.80. Give them €5 in cash for the sanctuary

Great spot very quite, cost is now £3 . We arrived on Jan 5 th late teatime and carpark was very busy, not sure what it will be like in busier season. Everyone left by about 6pm , lovely if slightly muddy with all the rain. Webrought dog but only walked in car park

Nice quiet in the evenings and nights. can pay for parking with app called pay by phone

Stayed the night in our 7m motorhome. Plenty of space, was quite busy very early doors, but had a loo available if you need it and lovely walk around the reserve

Very peaceful night and amazing Dawn chorus. Bird watcher start arriving early. Lovely place for a walk and the loo is clean.

Lieu paisible. Aucun soucis pour dormir ici

    amazing place, nice and clean

Prima plek! Op de parkeerplaats mogen wel honden. In het natuurreservaat zelf mag je (terecht) niet met je hond, maar op het pad ervoor wel. Het staat er duidelijk aangegeven.

great place. quiet. only one other camper there when we arrived late at night. plenty of room even for big campers. £2 parking for the day. no restrictions. but your ticket runs out at midnight if using the 'pay4parking' app. you can also pay cash at the rspb hut, so it says on a sign in the car park but that didn't seem to be open when we left about 10am ish.

We tried to stay here on Wednesday evening. We paid the £2 online to the RSPB. The bird watchers had left and we were alone until 9:30pm when several cars arrived. We left.

  • 3/5

Small car park no dogs allowed not even on leads

  • 5/5

Easy to park with app, beautiful area.

  • 4/5

This is actually a very nice stop. Large gravel carpark is virtually level, plenty of space for our 7.5m motorhome or larger. Parking is £2 donation by parking app or cash donation at the welcome hut. There are no restrictions or fines mentioned anywhere so there can be no fine upheld for not paying the very reasonable donation amount. There is a well maintained composting toilet, picnic area, and of course walks around the RSPB site. Internet performance was poor on Three but very acceptable on EE.

Lovely spot. Definitely surrounded by nature we were watching all kinds of wildlife from inside the front of the van. Very quiet night. WiFi is pretty bad

  • 5/5

Good spot, very quiet. Left a few pounds in donation box. Empty when i arrived and didnt see any one else all night, few dog walkers arrived about 7am as i was leaving.

  • 5/5

Good spot for a quiet night and a walk around the RSPB reserve. Was disappointed to see a puddle of someone's grey waste in the car park of this wildlife reserve. Hopefully no-one from here, but please let's leave these places spotless if we want to keep using them.

  • 5/5

Stayed here in my van earlier this month and it was great. Its worth noting that the parking ticket runs out at midnight, no matter what time you put the money in. I'd have just waited till after midnight to put the money in if I'd known.

  • 5/5

Good spot for the night, theres no high barriers. We had someone beeping their horn at 7am but we were already up. Place starts to get busy with locals from 8am.

  • 5/5

Great stop for the night. Easy access even for our 8m long x 3.5m high overlander. £2 per day so we put £4 in the box as we stayed overnight. Lovely walk around the reserve early this morning. Ticket machine doesn’t work so you put the money in the donations box.
