Decent sized car park enclosed by hedges with a picnic bench on some grass. The road going past has traffic throughout the day but quiet at night. Lovely views and sunset. Nice 'fairy trail' walk slightly down the road which is enclosed. Strong 4G. Some litter here despite there being a bin. I was woken on a Wednesday night by boy racers up and down the road - not sure I would stay on the weekend

parking refait a neuf légèrement en pente, avec une poubelle et deux tables de jardin neuves. fréquenté par des jeunes le soir entre 20 et 22.00 et du passage à partir de 7.00 , calme la nuit.

Lovely quiet stop over no amenities 1 bin 2 picnic tables . Lovely dog walk through a fairy trail , perfect if you travelling that way . We arrived late and left early .

J'y suis restée le soir du 30/09/2023. Je ne sais pas si c'est dû à la victoire de l'Ecosse lors du match de rugby mais personnellement j'ai trouvé cet emplacement assez bruyant : bruits de musique provenant de la ville et passage assez fréquent de voitures jusqu'à minuit. Comme dit cependant, c'était un soir assez spécial pour l'Ecosse donc c'est peut-être pour ça. Sinon lieu plutôt sympa.

Good wee spot just off the main road. Occasional car passing but rare, can be quite windy. Gets busier on the road from around 8am. Parking area has a rubbish bin as well, was full when we arrived but emptied by the council the next morning so is maintained. No other services but decent tree coverage for toilet, public toilet a short drive away. Great spot for 1 night

Very recently tarmacked to a very high quality. Very clean. Pavement to the village. Clear views allowing a beautiful sunset. What a great resource!

Had a lovely chat with a local called Tom. the community has raised a lot of money to create this picnic sight, new grass and wildflowers have been laid and eventually picnic tables will be built here..unfortunately people have been dumping tyres and rubbish here so please be mindful and take your rubbish with you. stunning views on a clear day and a newly built path to walk to the woods.

Parking area just off the B743, recently resurfaced by the looks of it. Quite level & room for at least 6 campers I would say. Quiet night, no issues.

Fresh tarmac so solid and level. Nice view and cracking sunset. Looks like a cycle track is going to be installed. Lots of rubbish, but no one disturbed us; little traffic passing.

Newly tarmaced and vegetation cut back so no grass. Not sure why. Car sat nav couldn't find it but Google maps did.

Very quiet decent ground too bit of grass for the dog and hard ground so not too boggy when wet.

Just perfect .on the top of the hill. on the side of the forest. great view on the valley. no highway noise. no airplanes. no roosters. deadly calm at night. Just no water near by.
