Vally vues, juste à côté de la route principale. Mais étonnamment calme, avec un bon lever de soleil. Extrêmement proche du pen-y-fan. J'y ai passé une nuit sans problèmes

Wunderschöne Aussicht, direkt an der Hauptstraße, aber mit 5-10m Abstand, was schon einen Unterschied macht. Nachts ruhig, haben hier eine Nacht verbracht ohne Probleme.

décembre. j'ai passé 2 nuits ici. première avec d'autres vans, 2e seule. la route est passagère et plutôt bruyante, mais pas assez pour me déranger. spot dégagé et beaucoup de vent, ça a pas mal tangué. nature et vue au rendez-vous. avec du réseau

You can hear the road but it didn’t bother us, the view and nearby hikes made it worth it. There’s no bins or amenities so take your rubbish with you and be self sufficient
Stayed on a Wednesday night. Arrived 7pm. 3 other campers / motorhomes already there. Noisy until around 11pm. Various cars pulling up then leaving. Unreal view in the morning left around 9am. Shame about all the rubbish.
stayed on Sun night arrived Midnight. No bad points. Morning views out of this world.
Got there in the late afternoon parked up no problem had a couple of cars around in the early evening but no one else at night very quite could not even feel the vibration of cars going past the road
A scenic spot for a night or 2 before & after Pan y Fan hike. It's only 2-min drive to the trailhead at Storey Arms Car Park.
A beautiful spot! However, on a fast road and feels quite exposed. Lovely for a brew with a view but we didn't feel safe to spend the night there.
Massive lay by, great views and road noise isn’t as bad as you’d expect. Minutes away from Pen Y Fan too.

decent 4g signal. road noise ok, but both times I've stayed here, I've had an issue with people car camping or drug dealing making a noise very late and then very early. slamming doors and speaking loudly. Maybe I've been unlucky
Lovely one night stop off, arrived in the dark and was pleasantly surprised when we woke in the morning. Stunning vally views. Will stay again.
great viewpoint and overnight stop. perfect surface and only slightly off flat. great access to climbing routes and road quietens later on in evening. will stay again.
Got here at 9pm for our first camping experience in our car. One other car here which appeared to be local youngsters but were no issue and left not long after our arrival. Road noise minimal between 23:00-06:00. Will definitely be using this lay-by again for our trip to Brecon.
Lovely location. Superb views. I got full signal of 4G on o2. Lots of room and it has been resurfaced. Road noise did die down and wasn’t really an issue. Car park is busy in the day and there is a burger wagon.
Nice flat spot to park up but traffic starts early around 5am. Better off heading down to the A4215, passed a good flat lay by this morning after we left.
Recently tarmaced making it a great place to park. Beautiful views and surprisingly a quiet nights sleep as it’s just off a main road. Not far from the Pen-Y-Fan walk and other hikes.
What a great park up. Nice and level and recently tarmaced. Quite a lot of vehicles including food truck when I arrived about 4pm but by 6pm most had gone leaving me and a couple of other campers. some road noise until turned 11pm and again at 6am but not excessive. Good phone signal with nearly 20mbps download speed. Best of all stunning views of the valley and mountain and a great night's sleep
Lovely view, large and flat parking. Good reception on our phones. A little bit close to the road, but far enough to feel safe. Nothing in terms of facilities, just a nice place to spend a night in the camper.
Perfect spot after a long hike! Made dinner and slept. We arrived just as the food van was packing up, some young drivers arrived and was there for an hour but didn’t course any trouble. Did have some visitors ( sheep). Did 4/5 stars as it’s near the road, wasn’t that noisy just prefer to be away. Lovely views though and very close to the start of my hike! No signs of no overnight stay
I have stayed here before, but last night, I was kept up by horns beeping as cars drove past till around 4am, the catering van also decided to park real close with their generator running at 6:30, they seemed really annoyed that we were there. Was no issue last time and we even bought breakfast from them! Was amazing waking up to the snow however!
Amazing views into the valley. We stayed the night no bother. Just down the road from Pen Y Fan. I personally wasn’t affected by the voice of the food van, they are harmless! Highly Recommend!
Easy spot for an overnight stay. Lovely view of the national park and little noise from the road. Sadly quite a bit of litter, hoping it’s not campers! There also was a food van that turned up about 7:30 and Made a bit of noise…not sure he likes campers.
Large parking area with good views to wake up to, although a fair bit of road noise finishing late & starting early- to be expected next to a main road. Burger van turns up around 7am and starts up it’s generator which is quite loud. No TV aerial signal but did have 3G phone signal.
Great overnight spot with breathtaking views , fair bit of traffic noise but quietens down through the night , food van turns up early morning and does seem to dislike people staying in “their” lay-by no idea why as they are loosing custom by being unwelcoming
Beautiful! Sadly we had a terrible experience with some locals I can only describe as scum. Parked to one side, we we’re woken at 7:30am by a generator. I got up to see if we could move further away from it, only to see we had be completely locked in by a couple with a snack van and their two vehicles. The area is big and was otherwise empty. We were then harassed and filmed as we tried to leave.
Amazing view for the night, arrived around 6 and there was plenty of space. Was joined by a few other campers in the evening. Road quietens down late but do expect some cars going past. Burger van comes around 6:30 in the morning. Would stay again!
exemplary views!! even with the bad weather rolling in! will stop for the night and edit my comments if anything to report. Sadly an extreme amount of rubbish around, I've picked up lots already :( please take all your litter home, fag butts aswell!! beacon bites burger van arrival was very much welcomed, lovely food!
Great view and not too noisy - police stopped by in the night but were gone without any issues (or having to get out of bed) - food van is a good thing to wake up to too
Fantastic spot, amazing views. On a busy road, but quiet at night. Just as I thought it couldn’t get better, breakfast arrived in the morning, a burger van pitched up.
Stayed here for a full day while we hiked. There is a sort of burger van which we asked if there were any parking restrictions and they said there wasn’t. It’s a 1k Walk to the bottom of Pen-y-Fan and a good place to park if the main Story arms car Park is full.
