Parking du pub Mc Dermott. Nous avons demandé au pub si nous pouvions rester ici la nuit après avoir mangé et bu un verre. Personnel très sympathique. Ce n'était pas un problème! Le pub était bien visité, la nourriture était délicieuse.
Parking from Pub Mc Dermott. We asked the pub if we could stay here overnight when we come for food / drink. Very friendly staff. Was not a problem! Pub was well visited, food was delicious.
McDermott Pub-Parkplatz. Wir fragten im Pub, ob wir nach dem Essen und Trinken hier übernachten könnten. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es war kein Problem! Die Kneipe war gut besucht, das Essen war köstlich.

Perfekt für eine Nacht nach oder vor Besuch von Cliffs of Moher. Man sollte aber ungefähr spätestens 16Uhr-18Uhr eintreffen weil das Pub sehr besucht ist. Wir fragten im Pub nach ob wir eine Nacht bleiben dürfen es war gar kein Problem. Die Nacht war sehr angenehm.

The pub is great. Food is yummy, the trad music is fab, the locals are kind and the pub let us stay in the car park which was lovely. It’s a nice spot by the river. Only reason for not 5 stars is because it was noisy in the morning from 6.30am with workers.
bon accueil, lieu très fréquenté il faut arriver assez tôt pour y trouver une place sur le parking. nous y avons trouvé une place pour la nuit. repas pris au pub en écoutant de la musique irlandaise. Une étape à ne pas manquer
We just asked at the bar if we could park up and have an evening meal. They were very friendly and welcoming. No services but what an easy walk to a lovely pub. Excellent trad music on and table service for food and drink.

Effectivement le patron est d'accord pour que nous passions la nuit sur son parking, après une pinte , nous irons dîner et écouter de la musique traditionnelle dans ce pub

Ok for 6M van overhanging near the river. Food in pub is good. There's a nice covered area where you can take your dog while you eat. (At the back of the pub)
Super freundliches Personal. Obwohl sehr voll (Samstag Abend) war es kein Problem - mit dem Hinweis, nicht mehr als einen Parkplatz zu besetzen und die Sperrflächen frei zu lassen. Aber das ist für mich selbstverständlich. Essen war lecker, Live-Musik sehr gut. Echte Empfehlung, zumal andere Parkplätze in Doolin für "overnight parking" verboten und die Campingplätze eher teuer sind.
Nuit du 31/04/25 + journée du 01/04 avec un van de 6m. Aucun problème à rester sur le parking (serveur du McDermott a dit ok). Nous y avons mangé et bu une bière le soir. Musique typique et ambiance authentique. Par contre, ATTENTION LA NUIT car des clients très alcoolisés sont restés autour du bar, ont mis de la musique fort pendant longtemps et ont même pris de la drogue adossés au van !
We asked the barman to stay on their parking spot, good space for our gargantuan 7m camper had a pint at the pub, that is 150 years old and has a lot of history, would very highly recomend
Stayed 1 night beside the river. We asked one of the staff could we park up. He said no problem. We had a great time in Doolin, and Mc Dermot’s was the highlight with great food, pints and music.
We arrived on a Tuesday in December at McDermott's, and the sign on the pub door said closed Monday through Wednesday in the winter! Rang the number on the notice and the owner allowed us to park overnight even though the pub was shut. That was so kind of him, as all campsites in the area are shut too. Walked across the bridge to McGann's pub for a warm by the fire and a fantastic meal.
Super vriendelijke pub-uitbater. Overnachten geen probleem zolang je parkeert tussen de lijntjes. Vlak naast waterloop op uiteinde v/d parking leek prima. Evenwel, de vuil-verzamelbakken van het dorp staan hier en worden druk bezocht tot laat op de avond. Al bij al niet zo’n rustige nacht gehad, ook vanwege pubbezoekers. Er was een huwelijksfeest dus mss de reden. Irish stew is er geweldig lekker!
Went there for the night, no problem said the barman. Incredible ambiance with Irish music all night long, great pub with food and drinks in a typical Irish pub atmosphere. Would recommand to anyone visiting the region!

We arrived around 9pm and got a spot outside McDermotts pub beside the river. It was busier earlier in the evening but we just got food and waited for dinner crowd to leave and spaces to free up. Mentioned it to the staff in the pub and they said it was fine. We only have Ford Custom converted van so fit into spaces no problem for 1night! Pub was great craic for music and drinks.
I would give them 7 stars for whole experience, definitly worth stopping. Also no problem for 7 m camper
Friendly staff ok, but parking to small for motorhomes more than 6 m. Unfortunately we had to move on.
Nous avons passé la nuit sur ce parking après avoir demandé si cela était possible : aucun problème à la condition de ne prendre qu’un seul emplacement. Pub super (saumon délicieux, Guiness et musique également). Bruit de la rivière sympa. Bref on recommande vivement mais il faut bien s’assurer avec eux (avant de stationner) que cela est possible. Ils apprécient cette marque de respect.
Great food, beer & live music every night at this super popular pub. We parked overnight in the spaces opposite as the main car park was completely full. Very friendly & accommodating staff.
Super accueil, super repas, super ambiance le soir, nous avons bien apprécié le fait d' accepter directement que nous nous installions sur le parking sans pour cela consommer. Le soir le pub était blindé de monde pour le repas puis pour le groupe de musique irlandaise. Cette soirée sera un très beau souvenir. Merci à eux

Sehr netter Empfang und nach gutem Essen, leckerem Bier und unplugged Live Musik, auf dem Parkplatz übernachtet. Morgens kommt der Lieferdienst des Pub's, sodass ausschlafen schwierig ist.

Both rv parks closed, even though they say open all year. Came here for Guinness and fish/chips. Asked if we could stay overnight - absolutely no bother!!! Very friendly staff, great food!!
arrived at 6pm for food and asked behind the bar to park the camper overnight, was not a problem in the slightest! We stayed in the pub all evening, amazing live music and really friendly staff. Nice quiet stay, a bit of noise at 9am
We mochten overnachten (op een zaterdagavond) met de camper, was geen enkel probleem. Gegeten en gedronken in de pub en 's-avonds live muziek! Super gezellig! En ontzettend vriendelijk! Er stonden nog 4 andere campers. Geen enkel geluidsoverlast van de pub.

Contrary to previous reviews this place is not motor home friendly. We asked if allowed to spend the night in their parking lot but were told that the pub no longer offer that service.
Super Essen, mega netter Service. Bei Nachfrage gar kein Problem zum auf dem Parkplatz zu übernachten. Das Pub ist wirklich empfehlenswert, das Essen war super lecker!

Great music in the pub. what a craic! very popular pub with live music every night. we arrived at 7.45pm and got the last parking space (only space for swb campers and one 6m unit). got the last table too. very friendly vibe. inisheer Island today and this pub tonight has made for an amazing day. come visit this place!
Nous sommes arrivés au Pub à 19h30 nous étions samedi soir donc parking complet et petit. Nous avons juste dîner bon et sympa ambiance et musique très Irlandaise. Nous avons été dormir un peu plus haut à Ballyryan R477.
un pub parfait repas copieux et tres bon musiciens super nous avons passé une excellente soirée très conviviale en plus nous avons été autorisé a stationné sur leur parking nous recommandons.
Arrêt pour la nuit un soir de Saint Patrick. Ambiance super chaleureuse, aucun souci pour dormir sur le parking. Nuit étonnamment calme
Stayed here last night and it was brilliant, the food and service was great, there was locals out singing traditional Irish music and I would highly recommend you to stop here, we just rang the pub ahead of our arrival and booked a table and asked could we stay the night in the car park and they said it wasn’t a problem
We stayed here had fab food and parked up in the car park. The owner had no problem with us staying here. It was a Saturday night so people around the car park till the early hours so it was a bit loud but slept a bit.
