I was only parked here in the daytime but there’s loads of space, it’s free, has good phone signal and no height barrier. Right next to the river. Unfortunately also right next to a water treatment plant which absolutely stank the whole time I was parked up

Pay machines are being installed now so won’t be long before they are operational. Shame as another great park up gone.

Stayed here Friday 21st March having stayed many times before. Love a few drinks in town then a Chinese on the way home. Great easy walk down the riverside, coffee at The Tannery is good too. Unfortunately there is a notice up that no motorhomes or campers will be allowed overnight and they are going to charge in the day too. Took a photo of the sign but can't see how to attach it sorry.

Great location. Feel very safe being near a police station. Easily walking distant to the town. Lots of spaces to rear so you can park out of the way. Overall great spot and would highly recommend.

Great location and a free stop over. Some nice pubs and eateries. Quiet, flat car park that backs onto the river, don't be put off by the water treatment work as there was no noise or smell when we stayed in September 2024

large FREE! park everything you need. toilet/shops. very quiet. 2mins walk to the pub/ chippy awesome would highly recommend.

Great place to stay, coop supermarket, pubs, cafes, chippy all within a 5 min walk. 2 Train stations and bus stop nearby to explore Snowdonia. Please spend money in the town.

Quiet, safe and a stone’s throw from a lovely village with all the usual amenities.

Good stop over couple little pubs for food at the right price one of them has sky sports toilets 5 min walk by the swimming pool 50p charge but currently free

Our 2nd time visiting this one. Very handy for town with fantastic Chinese takeaway (Jade 2), shops, cafes and pubs. Great for the dog as it's right by the river for a walk and lovely and peaceful. No issues with the wifi either. Rubbish and dog bins available.

Amazing, flat car park with other campers. Lots of space, and free!

Great stop, couple of minutes walk into town for the usual pubs, shops. About 10 other vans so felt plenty safe, didn’t hear or see another person. Was an early wake up from the council doing a community skip day though. Would happily stay again, nice town and walks nearby or as stop heading further into wales

Great stop, great newly refurbished wine shop and a very friendly village

Great little spot just by a river, spend one night here and it was very peaceful. The public toilets are now located in the library which is just at the entrance to the carpark, the staff were friendly and let us use let.

Stayed 13th April, quiet night, lovely walks for the dog and great town, had lunch at a little cafe was nice food, good price. Great spot for a less muddy park up. Few other vans stayed the night as well

Stopped here last night, nice and quiet, no loud cars. Unfortunately no toilets but the local Co-op let us use theirs. Great spot!

Amazing park up for a car park. It’s the furthest one away at the back right next to the river. Super quiet stay and even in morning fairly quiet

Found this spot on here and returned home today after spending Friday & Saturday night here.Great spot,very quiet and just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre.I highly recommend Jade 2 Chinese takeaway.By far the best Chinese we’ve had in a long time.We visited Caffi Contessa yesterday morning for a breakfast before a day of walking.You won’t find a better breakfast for this price,£6.50

Our first town carpark. Clean and safe. Bit noisy in early ours with youths and cars but they kept themselves away but sound travels. Would stay again.

Good quiet flat location. Backs on to river and close to town. Dog walkers until dusk but no issues.

Fantastic free park up in a very large carpark. If you go to the far end, near the river, it's very peaceful. Given the difficulty with overnight parking, Wales needs more like this.

Stayed here on 27.07.22 and hat a silent night with one other camper. Perfect place for a night. It´s free, leveled, quiet and there´s lots of space. You can do nice dog walks on the river and it´s near to the town or to a nice cafe.

nice quiet carpark even during the day it backs on to a river and a short walk into town depending on taste chippy takeaway there well cooked and nice spend a bit more and head to the hotel by the bridge very nice would recomend this to all our camervans

Super Platz für eine Nacht, sehr flach. Mülleimer vorhanden.

Fab place to stopover. Large car park and plenty of spaces available for all mohos, transits etc. gorgeous walk along stream to back of car park and some lovely seated areas to get that last bit of sunset. Very quiet at night and felt really safe.

Turned up after reading about it on here. Lovely and quiet, nice walk along the riverside. No charge for parking, short walk to shops and take aways. Will be back here again.

Fantastic stay for 4 nights. Cycled to Betws y Coed, handy for all Conwy valley. Must visit Gwydr castle. Best Coop supermarket in North Wales. Walks along the river bank to the suspension bridge and much more. Thank you to the council.

Just a perfect overnight spot. If you just want a certain non hassle spot you’ll be good here.

Really great place to stay

Very large car park right next to river and within walking distance from everywhere in town. Well lit at night and right next to police station.

Good place to stay for the night! quiet nights stay there and would highly recommend Tir A Môr fish and chip shop, can order online and then go and collect!

Free and flat! Just on the edge of town plenty of spaces didn’t get busy. River runs just behind looks like there’s a start point to a walking route there too. There’s signs saying the carpark has WiFi didn’t use it however. The towns got all your essentials there is toilets next to the carpark but again didn’t use them. Good spot close to Bewtsy and other attractions.

Lovely spot on the top car park behind the library's conference centre. Quiet at the back at night so good nights sleep.

Stayed overnight Sunday 06/10/2019 top part of car park was completely empty and right next to the River no problem over night but it gets really busy quite early on a weekday morning, probably commuters, we were almost completely boxed in by 08:30 so park accordingly.
